Safety Glove Test EN 388 - Arco: Experts in Safety

See how work safety gloves are tested for their level of cut protection at Arco’s independently UKAS accredited Product Assurance Laboratory. European standard EN 388 was updated in 2016, making the ISO 13997 cut test mandatory (clause 6.3), when the Coupe test blade becomes blunt during testing. The ISO 13997 test better simulates real-life cut hazards and therefore gives a better indication of a gloves' level of protection of workers' hands, in environments where there are medium and high risks of cut injuries.
