    this entire score is among JNH's best and this song is so good, it is a pleasure to hear you play it so well with your horns!

    When I saw that last note I felt a little sad because the performance was ending. You are truly an amazing performer. It's not just that it's perfectly played, you also perfectly transcribe sounds into emotions. You truly are an inspiration. Wish I had a friend like you...

    That two bar lead up at 3:50 leading to the large statement of Kong’s theme is utterly breathtaking. Plus using the descending motif as well with a high G on the trumpet before resolving onto that sharp 3 major chord. Beautiful.

    I have watched nearly every of your videos, but this one i have seemingly failed to see 😅 the part at 3:00 gives me goosebumps. It's incredible, how clear and warm you geht those high notes. I got wet eyes, also at the end. Bravo, Marc!!! 👍🏻

    Your playing and the background video (and of course the great composing of this piece) literally pushed and pulled so many of my emotions. Like i felt anxiety, yet calmness and then FKJDSHFDf idk what the happened there. I applaud you for your skills. Hopefully i can play with that much emotions one day

    Marc, you need to make more videos. It doesn't have to me high quality like this one. It would just be cool to see into the life of another horn player. Great video though! I'm really impressed with you accuracy in the top range of horn.

    I know you played LOTR in your tribute to movies but I think the Lord of the Rings/ The Hobbit soundtracks are more than epic enough to deserve their own tribute video(s).

    Ugh! The ending of this movie sucked emotionally. The film score fit the ending very well. I always tear up at this scene because I feel terrible for the creature, not us.

    Marc, are you playing what we're hearing in the videos? I've never seen a horn player pull of that much movement without clams LOL. Nice videos!

      I am studying music for film, and James Horner is the reason I even had an interest in film music. After his score to Titanic, I was instantly fascinated by how the music alone could make me feel so many different emotions.

    @xSh4d0WxFoXx98 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just curious, how do you get that movie horn sound? I’ve never heard an individual horn with that kinda of sound and resonance. Do you record multiples of the same part on both instruments to make it seems like a whole horn section is playing?

    • @Marc_Papeghin
      @Marc_Papeghin  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do multiple takes yeah ! Here you can hear 10 different horn parts and 3 trumpets, and then it's all about EQ, reverb, mixing to make it sound great :)
