Spring 2024 Lawn Renovation

- Following last years total overhaul of the lawn, this year i am giving my lawn a spring renovation to get rid off all the rubbish that has built up over winter, encourage new growth from the existing grass and hopefully fill out the grass with some seed. I am using the Barenbrug Extreme Dwarf Rye grass and field compost number 4. Method behind my video and the products I regularly use come from @DanielHibbertLawnExpert, his videos are brilliant and really enjoyable, and as per his channel name he really is a lawn expert. we did ours last week but we not over seeding till next week as im pre germinating it at moment

Just like you, scalped, airrated, light dethatch, used the hand tool that Daniel Hibbert recommended, hard work but worth it. Seeded then on with fc no. 5... Now the wait begins 🎉

I looked at using Field Compost rather than the horrible garden centre bought stuff that has lots of rubbish(even the new Jack's magic). My lawns are about the same size as yours so would only need about 6 bags but the delivery cost is horrendous making it unviable. How did you order?

How long from overseeding can you cut the grass.
Probably about 10 days but if it is ready sooner it does it no harm
