Oh for sure, painted interior pieces all day. I had a 95 eclipse in 98, baby blue with chrome flake paint, blitz body kit, 3 years before fast and furious came out baby, Also white vinyl inserts sewn into the stock seats, show car stuff ‘98 👍
i've got an OEM bumper exhaust cutout cap for an 06-08 TSX. tell your customer to hit me up since i ended up going dual exhaust. it's NH658P carbon grey pearl though so it will need paint for NHBP. Love seeing 04-08 TSX getting some love. under appreciated cars with the double wishbones up front and 5 arm rear watts link. only other cars with that setup are GOAT handling cars like S2K NSX Miata and FD RX7.
Yeah if ya know ya know! I can vouch for our boy Jroc. Painted vents door panels etc monster tachs and GAWDY fiberglass body kits. Just for record I wasn't DOWN with it. Good old Nopi days.
It was definitely a thing painting interior panels and seats I did that with my very first 91 Ef hatch along single wiper lol was tired of the blue interior at the time
I was able to do the oil pump on my TSX without removing the subframe... as to why Honda put that giant oil pump with balance shafts in there... wait until you feel the vibrations without it (hard engine mounts too). At that horsepower level you DO NOT need the type-S oil pump, unless you put some aftermarket cams to go with it. Stock pump is totally safe with stock cams and not revving past 7600 or so.
I had the trim around the heater vents and center radio/ac vents painted red like my 96 ek, found old hi8 video and had it put on dvd to relive the old days of nopi and englishtown✌️✌️ Wipers stayed in the hatch till it rained👍🏻👍🏻
I remember my buddy had a celica and the door panels and the glove box were painted silver. pretty sure around the automatic shifter was silver paint too ... coolest car in our school
Subframe don't have to come down. Un-bolt front, side, and rear motor mounts inside the engine bay and either the lift motor up a bit with hoist or jack it up from underneath. If working on the car and plan to be underneath on ground, do not mess with subframe bolts. Also do not lift the motor up so much that it cannot fall back in place if jack were to fail, or axles are at an extreme angle..
I have a FA5 Civic and I have a PLM race header a test pipe to delete the cat in a full 3-in straight through skunk 2 mega power RR exhaust and boy that thing f****** screams
Did you know Sonic and jroc the k24a1 out of the 2nd gen cr-v is the only k24 that a k20aw pil pump bolts straight up to?. The griddle is flat like the k20a2 papi 💡, dont need to notch the oil pump. It's the holy grail of the k24s. You use the k24a1 post bracket for the k swap mounts and the ppa/ppl stamped head off the k24a1 is the best flowing k24 head that rivals the k20a2 and k20z1 head. A k20a2 intake manifold fits on it too, the K24a1.
Bro i remember the wiper blades being half way up the windshield lmao. They even used to sell the colored blade arms at autozone(red, blue, green, etc) lmao. Thats a throwback for sure
Damn I remember those days man everyone sprayed they're dash, door panels , speedometer bezel , installed indaglow speedometers and underglow air bags shaved doors license plate "altezza lights" skyline body kits on civics 😆 fuck I'm glad I didn't fallow that trend. I'm sure jroc remembers crx cyberkit and cyberkit 2 specially since he went through that 20-30pc black widowkit lol
I remember the whole nopi car trend iremember all vents shit even the seat belt buckles rear view mirror the shifter bezel clusters pretty much anything that is able to be removed lol shit was tacky as all hell and why I didn't get the honda thing till around 08 when oem plus style builds which I love.
Yea 43 here we all that vinyl paint in the day with one wiper like the GTCC cars, man we don’t wana go back to wings west kit on the CRX with the chrome hammers skating!
I hate the subframes in the factory K cars. Such a pain. I’m running a single apexi on my tsx but on the fence about timing gear swap and tune, so much work. Was is retuned for the timing gear?
Hes right! The one wiper! Painted door panels and clear tail lights were the move on hondas! Then the euro tails came out but by that time I was back into OEM PLUS LOOK & I personally thought the euro lights looked too cheap. My crx clear tails were made really well. Wish I kept them 😪
Bro, I feel jroc swear 1 blade bout 3/4windhsield got swiped. Dawg, We did use to paint door panels, not going to lie! I remember the fade early 2000s. Jroc thanks for reminding me haha
100%!!!! Old school shyt! Color of your car interior had to match and accordingly Hahaa that’s when it was cool to have a pair of sweet wheels in the rear and steelies up front hahahahAa them days boyz!
8:39 bruh... that was me with my apexi dunk, on my eclipse, lol.. good times. #damnimold you 9:45 he aint lying, lol.. to get one wiper to do the work of two meant it pretty much sat half way up wwhen you weren't using it, lol.. it was a thing
Yo of course color matched interiors. Fiberglassed in giant door speakers, moulded in sub boxes. Bro had to have it. Goes with moulded in wild body kits and single wipers. And we only made like 200hp 3 or 4 was big shit with turbos and nitrous. What happened to nitrous? Need more nitrous 4cyl builds on TH-cam.
Question how do I get rid of the gear shifting lag in the tsx transmission every gear has a 2-3 second lag before shifting when trying to power shift while racing
I never painted my interior. Always hated on that. Even when we were graduating H.S. back in 04. 95 Eg coupe white with white rims.after i wrecked my 01 civic i just bought. Car only had like ten thousand miles and had a bad accident racing after school. Fool in a vw fox passed me while i was creeping a speed bump lol. I was way to serious i couldnt just let that go. He warched me wreck my first newish car that day😢
Hilarious to talk about early 2000s import trends like it's ancient history. Makes me feel old af. I might have been a high school senior when the Fast and Furious came out.
Any protips on how to get a stubborn VTC gear nut loose? Trying to install the 40 degree VTC pin inside it and 1 of the 4 bolts is being a right bitch.
Bad ass giveaway y'all! Absolutely sick. I wish I had money to enter but I totally would if I could. I'll spare you the sob story about my life. And I've never entered in a giveaway in my life so that's saying something. This is the nicest Honda I've ever seen given away. Period. Love the content! Thanks for posting.
JRoc is 100% correct, vinyl painting interior parts was a thing back in the late 90’/early 2000’s. It was tacky AF😂
Ha ha I’m so old I have pics of Imports that aren’t digital. Old school with that disposable camera and shit lol.
not if you did it right with plenty of prep
I used to work for Nopi early 2000s. Yes, we used to paint the interiors. Back when body kits big wings and neon lights were the things to have.
Oh for sure, painted interior pieces all day. I had a 95 eclipse in 98, baby blue with chrome flake paint, blitz body kit, 3 years before fast and furious came out baby, Also white vinyl inserts sewn into the stock seats, show car stuff ‘98 👍
Vinyl painting interior panels was a biiiiig thing in the late 90’s - early 00’s. Me and almost all my friends were doing it to be honest…
i've got an OEM bumper exhaust cutout cap for an 06-08 TSX. tell your customer to hit me up since i ended up going dual exhaust. it's NH658P carbon grey pearl though so it will need paint for NHBP. Yep. 45 here and it’s 100% facts. It was hot back then tho lol
Yeah if ya know ya know! I can vouch for our boy Jroc. Painted vents door panels etc monster tachs and GAWDY fiberglass body kits. Just for record I wasn't DOWN with it. Good old Nopi days.

I was able to do the oil pump on my TSX without removing the subframe... as to why Honda put that giant oil pump with balance shafts in there... wait until you feel the vibrations without it (hard engine mounts too). Jroc is right. Remember the REM vinyl paint to make your gray interior plastic and carpet go black.
Bro i remember the wiper blades being half way up the windshield lmao. They even used to sell the colored blade arms at autozone(red, blue, green, etc) lmao. Thats a throwback for sure

That's crazy that chain lock is kind of like a guitar tuning lock. Same idea.
Jroc probably had the half cut hood as well lol
It definitely was a thing but I never done it. I might have pics of my friends that did it. I’m 46
When you wanted Black interior but didnt want to swap or pay for black interior, thats what people did lol. Early 2000's was wild.

I never painted my interior. Always hated on that. Even when we were graduating H.S. back in 04. 95 Eg coupe white with white rims.after i wrecked my 01 civic i just bought. Any protips on how to get a stubborn VTC gear nut loose? Trying to install the 40 degree VTC pin inside it and 1 of the 4 bolts is being a right bitch.
Will the RBC 50° VTC gear make a difference on the K23A1 RDX? And thank you
Buen trabajo bro🤝💯👍💪🔥
Bad ass giveaway y'all! Absolutely sick. I wish I had money to enter but I totally would if I could. I'll spare you the sob story about my life. And I've never entered in a giveaway in my life so that's saying something. This is the nicest Honda I've ever seen given away. Period. Love the content! Thanks for posting.
there is a 5 dollar digital entry
Don’t play with the man Bruddah!
Huge difference with the intake off.
Why not Dyno with the bonnet closed? You don't drive with a bonnet open on the road.
