Not being silly but your videos are genuinely the most informative and consumable football tactics videos on TH-cam. For someone who isn't a tactico but wants to understand these things they're honestly the best. Thank you!
Brilliant analysis James, both you and Jacob Horsfall have made excellent videos about how we play and the affect Andoni has had on the club, keep up the good work! 🍒🍒
Been telling the eddie howe brigade how good ireola is.learned off biesla as well .gonna be a top manager .well done Bournemouth.hijsen ain't bad either .
“Could we get Europe” I don’t know, but it’s the most exciting football I’ve ever watched Bournemouth play and I just love andoni, so I feel very lucky 🍒
He’s an absolute genius 🍒🍒🍒🍒 I just worry a bigger club will steal him from us in the next few seasons! Luckily we do have a very very ambitious owner who will make it very hard for anyone to take him from us!😅
Gary Neill ‘understandably’ playing Brexit ball is why no English manager has won anything for decades. The Warnock/Allardyce/Dyche style is not ‘pragmatic’, it’s not ‘understandable’ and the plethora of foreign managers who take the same squads and play football with it shows that.
Please no more advertising our manager! We want to keep our man…We have had great managers in the past….Harry and Eddie but Andoni is the best…It’s an exciting time to be a Cherries fan…
Other thing with Iraola press Often Christie/scott steps up to press and senesi (Cb) steps up into midfield with Lewis cook. It’s worked great so far and hasn’t been caught out yet.
In answer to your question about getting into Europe. That was the talk at the end of last season and my view has not altered. I think it is too early this season but would say it could be a good target for next season. AFCB is a work in progress from the owner all the way down the chain. Small steps have been made since the return to the PL and Bill Foley taking over at the top. The traing complex is soon to be completed then follows the possibility of a new stadium. Whilst we have no European football and are out of the League Cup we don't have the games that the top clubs have, so recovery time is an advantage. A top half finish is what I predicted, then look forward to the next chapter the following season. Up the Cherries 🍒🍒🍒
We could get Europe but it’s consistency. I think we struggle against the poorer teams in the league as we find it hard to break them down. Leicester for example.
Exactly this!! Our intensity increases against the harder teams we play! Then we drop points against the newly promoted teams 😅🍒 football is a funny game!
So! 2 months on we are playing forest today after that tanking we gave Newcastle last time out with a injury ravaged squad We just seem to be getting better and better regardless Europe here we come UTCIAD
Forest fan here. If we end up selling one of our wingers or attacking players next summer which will proably happen, I'd love it if Tavernier was their replacement. Quality player, very much under the radar in the media
As a Bournemouth fan I completely agree, some of his finishing is questionable at times but otherwise he’s such a well rounded quality player, we gotta keep him for now though hopefully;)
The cheek of Forest fans, you guys are having your first good season in twenty years. We have finished above you for over ten years and are only four points behind. Tavernier is going nowhere. Fair play for the start though, 2022 promoted teams doing really well!
Because Liverpool right now are playing the best football in the league! Andddd typically us Cherries do terribly at Anfield but the games back at Dean court are much much closer! 🍒🍒🍒
@star_wars_miniatures I know the MEDIA and PUNDITS always GUSH over him like he's some kind of patron Saint of football. And calling him a GENERATIONAL MANAGER FFS he's spent £800 MILLION and only WON 1 FA CUPin 5-6 YEARS. 😵💫
Pep lost fair & square. Arteta lost with 10 men because of a red card which was not given again for similar (Chelsea) & worse (Spurs) offenses. I swear this channel exists just to gaslight Arsenal fans.
You were outplayed before the red card, and the chelsea one wasn't comparable because there was more cover and the ball was going towards the corner flag, not the goal. At best you can complain that chelsea should have had a red, but that doesn't get you extra points vs Bournemouth, it was a red and if he didn't pull him down there's a decent chance he scored and they beat you anyway. There's no conspiracy mate, you've just lost a couple games and that's normal for most teams
@Never_Wr0ng OK you're right, there's a huge anti arsenal conspiracy at the PGMOL and Howard Webb is controlling AI referees using an app on his phone. That's much more realistic than Saliba being sent off for dragging someone down that was clean through on goal with a clear goalscoring opportunity
completely agree, how the red card was barely touched on in this video was beyond me - yes it is a red card and yes bournemouth played well that game but I woudnt say that Iraola "outsmarted" arteta, even Iraola said after the game and I quote, " the red card won it", but whatever clickbait gets "JLA" views i guess is all that matters!
Finally some recognition for AFCB but we want to keep Iraola!!!
Thanks James. Now I feel silly for complaining about the lack of Cherry on my feed ☹️
Brilliant video, I wish MOTD pundits were able to analyse like this

Great video James. One thing - Scott, Dango and Sini are currently injured, so none were available at 60 minutes during the city game.
finally Bournemouth getting praise, iraola is a mastermind and a top tactician
Great title, thumbnail and video. Quite the package you've got there.
Wonder if it's the first time Jim's had a compliment on his package? 🤔 or maybe he's used to it
He changed the thumbnail and the title interesting
@@Mazza4201 Not the first time Jim has teased us with his changing package
Not aure when Allcott found this fromula or if it was here all along but these breakdown videos are a very enjoyable watch.
Forest next please. Love the video
Absolutely, they've been fantastic

And Brentford 😢 It's ok we're still growing! I have faith we'll find the consistency
Knew who it was before clicking on the video! Iraola's shadow is quite distinct lol
When I first ever saw him he reminds me of a Spanish Harry Maguire 😅 once you see it, it cannot be unseen!
He thwarted newcastle 4-1 @ st james park. Came prepared
The Irish Guy will surely enjoy this one
Great vid Jim, nice to have a non man utd vid just to cleanse the pallet

It's fantastic to see you highlighting Bournemouth. But as a Liverpool fan I do recall 6/7 weeks ago we hadn't played anyone.
Bravo

@jackstratts2569 2nd good season in 20 years, get it right!
‘Tav - a - near’ is how you pronounce his name by the way!😅 lots of people have trouble pronouncing his name!
Can't stand high-pressing coaches, but in all other aspects of the game, Andoni Iraola is the real deal.
Why can't you stand high pressing coaches? Especially when someone like Iraola makes it work with spectacular results.
@telboy53 Because low block is more effective
Irish Guy will be happy
Time to bet against Bournemouth
And yet the have lost to the mighty Leicester twice this calendar year ooft
👍🍒
My ears...😭
Im curious as to why it didnt work against liverpool
Because slot is a genius

You actually calling ARTETA A WORLD MANAGER 😂😂😂😂😂😂
It’s crazy isn’t it??? Arteta hasn’t won anything yet but people think he’s world class

Finishing 2nd 2 years straight in the hardest league in the world is some very good credit to have as a coach not world class but soon to become
