Just completed the install. Easy peasy. Of course if you have been working on cars and trucks for over 50 years yourself, it’s pretty easy. If you haven’t. Watch this video at least 3 times and stop it when you need to. Great job guy !
Agree that this is the best maintenance video I have ever watched. So simple, yet fantastic detail, and more importantly great camera work. A lot of TH-camrs could learn from this guy.
Your excitement about draining the fuel filter is infectious! I am now totally stoked about watching someone else do it! Sweet! Your videos are becoming much more interesting to watch. I enjoy how you explain all the small details of the job. Great video!
Didn’t know I should be draining the yellow nozzle every month. I’m about to do my first fuel filter change on my 21 f250 and this was the best video I’ve found so far! Definitely earned a subscriber today! Thank you for the information!!!
I have to agree with everyone else that this is by far one of the best how to change your fuel filters on a ford Heavy Duty truck that I have come across. Excellent camera lighting and editing, gets right to the point. Keep up the good work and I will now be a subscriber and will be looking forward to more videos.
After watching this video I had to check out a few more of your vids. Very well done with no fluff or extraneous nonsense. Thanks a bunch. I am now a subscriber.
Great video! Direct and to the point. No taking forever opening packaging or talking excessively about unrelated stuff. I'm new to the 6.7 on my 2020 F-250 I just bought. I saw the mods on that truck. Same mods I want to do!
I am a fleet mechanic for a public utility in California. The majority of our larger trucks are the Navistar 7500 series, our smaller trucks are exclusively Super Duties. I have suffered through the 7.3/6.0/6.4 and now the 6.7. We still have a lot of Gen 1 6.7s but they are slowly being replaced by the newest 6.7. I don't know why it took Ford this long to come up with a more efficient lower fuel filter. I wish they had done this years ago, but I gladly welcome the change. The problem with the older filters is the trucks spend a lot of time off road and by the time I have to change the lower filter it is caked under an inch of dried mud. I have to blast it with a pressure washer before I can find it. Something I want to add it our trucks spend a better part of their time idling. The users drive them to the job site, then the truck spends all day idling to run the PTO. This is why we schedule our services by hours instead of miles. If your viewers use their trucks in the same fashion, I recommend changing the fuel filters about every 500 hours. Thank you for sharing this video and especially for driving home the point of draining the water separator. I try to encourage the users to drain them regularly. But, as long as the truck gets them from point A to point B, they don't do anything else. I can spend hours telling horror stories of what water can do to a fuel system.
I have a 2023 F350 Lariat package and when I went to change the lower filter there is a protective metal plate half way covering the back two bolts. Appears you will need a flexible wrench to get to them.
I agree with the previous guy. I have a 2020 ford F250 diesel. l ordered a filter for it and expected to get the same kind of a deal as my 2001 Ford 7.3 power stroke. Got 2 filters and did not know what the hell was going on. Your video was by far the very best how to video I've ever watched. You need to make a whole bunch of other videos on different subjects. Thanks again cowboy!
I change the oil on my truck but always pay to replace the fuel filters on my F250 SD. You just saved me $300 each time I change the oil. Best video on TH-cam!!! Thanks man
This is the third video i've watched for changing fuel filters. I don't know how youtube arranges videos, but I'm sure glad I watched as many as I did. The first was not very good, the guy just pulled the top filter straight up and pushed the new one down and was kind of rushed on the fuel line connections, the second video was better, this is the third one and by far the best! Enough detail so that I feel confident in doing this myself. Will check back after it warms up a bit and I get it done.
Just changed mine out on my 17 350. Took me 15 minutes. The far left connection on my under the hood filter was different than yours and the one they send the adapter for. Weird. Good stuff bro, I’m really appreciating your channel and everything you show us.
This is an amazing video, just had mine changed at the dealership. wow. One hour of shop time at 190.00 per hour. I'm thinking I can do this. I used to do them all the time on my cummins. Great video. Thank you.
Not gonna lie brother I’ve been doing this wrong. Normally I drain the fuel and while it’s draining I then replace the canister fuel filter on the engine then replace the cartridge filter on the tank. Once done that’s when I cycle the on/off button but not for 10sec. I do it for 30sec and only 4 times. After that I fire it up check for leaks and ride off into the sunset. John Wayne style. And just so you know I’m not a diesel technician just a diesel owner from way back. But after seeing this I realize the potential of debris being trapped in the lines from the cartridge filter to the canister filter. So I’m thankful for the information in your videos. And on a side note raise hell shit the bed.
Ive watched 2 or 3 videos around stock and updated fuel filters by you. Great stuff! I just became the owner of a 2021 350 platinum. One question when you cycle the key to prime the filters, how do i do that with a push button start?
The 17 and 18 have a strait line that breaks very easy, that's a support to keep it from snapping off. The 17 needs to have the top filter removed first else it won't break the siphon on the bottom filter and you can drain a lot of fuel from you tank. Ford change something in the later models that stop this
Great video wish I would have found it before changing my filter on my 2021 f550 I messed up the rubber lines in the tank supply line and now I’m figuring out how to replace . it awesome video !
Thanks for the video. I have never heard of doing the monthly drain now have 135k miles. Recently added the S &S disaster prevention kit. I change fuel filters at 10k miles every other oil change. Should I now go to 15k? Difficult for me to do the monthly as we are on road fulltime RV finding places to accept used diesel.
I got a 2019 superduty. I changed the fuel filters yesterday, same as previous times. I did the 5 initial turn the key on and off to prime the system. The first couple times you really hear the fuel housing fill up which is normal. But normally after about 5 times I dont here anything at the water separator. So I did it a few more times and kept hearing a little sputtering for a couple of seconds. Like I said, usually all the noise from the frame rail filter goes away. I drove it a few miles and now the noise is gone when I just turn the key and not start it.
I also only use motorcraft filters. I guess what I'm asking is it normal for some sputtering remaining after cycling the key several times? I initially was nervous to start it cause I still could hear some noise from the frame rail filter.
Great detailed vid! Just got my 2019 6.7 and have been looking through the manual. Says to change fuel filter at 30K and drain water filter every oil change. What do you think about that?
When you mentioned draining every month on filter that’s located next to the diesel tank, do you have to turn the the key for 10 secs as well (6x) after draining the fuel&water
Yo PTT just rolled over 15k on my 19 SD and did my first fuel change myself. Saved me $250! Shout out to ya for your content and videos! I’ll admit was nervous, like a dog shitting a peach pit but Made it super comfortable to do. Peace!
Sorry one more request. I think most of us with the 2020 have the recall for the front and rear facing camera. Just wondered if it’s quick fix and If I can wait for my truck and schedule with the oil change? And the truck is asking for a second oil change and I’m just turning 6k miles. 1 more sorry when do I ask to have the fuel filters changed if I am less then 10k. 2020 F250 Platty. If I drain the water monthly do I need to cycle the “key” like in other videos to fill it back up before starting it? Thank you and enjoying the videos!
Jubb...GREAT QUESTION!!!! THANK YOU FOR BEING ENGAGED IN MY VIDEO! I would highly recommend that you cycle the key as i did, to prime that ol girl to life
Do you press the ignition button without your foot on the pedal to turn vehicle on to prime the filter the same way??? 10 seconds 6 times??? 2017 f250 6.7 diesel
Might seem like an odd question but does the brake cleaner have any chance of damaging filter or electrical clip on the bottom of lower fuel filter assembly?
Question, how do you turn the key on to fill up the housing, while having a push button start? or did I miss something. Definatly new to this world. Thanks.
Hello my friend happy new year , after your video help I was able to change the upper nox bank 1 of my f 250 platinum 2013 Man what work ,I guess the trick is the heat and patience even burn my hand lol After changed I just re set the check light engine off the code is that the way to go ? Thank you so much in advance God bless you
I may just do my filters once a year because I just looked and I changed my oil on 9/13/21 and my 2017 F350 dually truck had 36,324 miles.. Its a week from being 6 months since my last oil change and ive only put 2100 miles on it in 6 months. It will take me 5 years to hit 10,000 miles between filter changes.
I have been very good about changing the filters but very bad about draining it that often. I thought the truck would notify via computer sensor if water was at all present and would prompt you when to drain. I have 73,000 miles and no water thank god. Another problem is finding a location to dispose of the fuel. We full time RV and sometimes it is a problem.
Just changed my filters. Thanks to this video it was smooth! FD-4641 is what the dealer told me. Comes without the unneeded clip. Thanks for your help!
Everytime I Google something about my 6.7 you always have a video for it. I do have a couple of questions and was wondering the best way to get ahold of you?
After changing the bottom filter u did the key cycled then the top filter and key cycle , would l do the same for my 2016 , l have done the key cycle after doing both filters thanks. Good video ARod thanks as always
Great video as usual, I did mine without any issues but I don’t see a fuel filter life monitor to reset , did Ford not put it in the cluster ? 2020 F350 Platinum
Hi, thanks for the video, its clear and well explained. Question regarding (ignition on 6 times), what is the process for F250 with Press Start? Shall I press 6 times?
I’m about to buy a 6.7 250 and since this will be my first diesel, I have been doing maintenance research so I know what I’m getting myself in to and you make it so easy to understand
New to the powerstroke world, but is it normal for it to sound like your filling up a fountain drink when its priming after doing the rear filter? I get that its building pressure and filling up the filter, but just want to make sure i didnt miss align the filter or something stupid like that. The filter was snapped in the lower housing, and the lower housing mated up to the upper housing without any issues. Sorry if its a dumb question, its my first time doing one of these.
Very good information, but I am having one problem. While the water seemed to have stopped, the fuel did not stop and I drained about 4 gallons? Any suggestions??? Quickly
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod thanks for your help. When I disconnected the upper filter and then drained the lower filter there was only a small of amount of fuel left 1/3 gallon? Then I could finish the job for lower and upper filter change. Thanks for your explanation. 👍
Hey Arod is this the same procedure for a 2017 Ford 350 6.7 turbo diesel? So drain the water hello tab every month will take make the truck run better?
A Rod,…might want to include a change of the by-pass filter too. I wonder if guys with by-pass systems are changing that filter at the same interval along with the other two fuel filters? I change all three of mine on my 11 f250 6,7 with 219,000m every other oil change. Thoughts?
New diesel owner question about the yellow water fuel drain valve. Brand new 2024 F350, less than 100 miles. I opened this thing, filled a 32 oz yoghurt container and then an inch or so more in another, Panicked and stopped. It did of course smell like diesel, but how much might I expect to come out?? You did say here you can let it run until it stops but I didn’t catch that until I re-watched after. I mean how big a container should I bring to the party next time 🤷♂️🤔
Great video. Just did my first fuel filter change on my new to me 22 Tremor. Since the cartridge fits so loose, can you actually screw it up? Will it even fit back together when not locked in place correctly?
Thanks for video arod, doing mine soon, new to me 6.7 and first time diesel owner and love your channel. Thanks for all the help. Mite be thinking of a dcr at some point
Not sure if Arod mentioned this in another video or not, but I absolutely wouldn’t even think about doing this job unless I had a spare yellow drain plug or an aluminum one available. They break way too easy.
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod seriously you haven’t?! I did my first filter change today and those little ears popped right off when I was tightening it. Maybe 3/4 tight and they came off.
What do I do if fuel just keeps coming out of the separator drain? I drained 2 gallons of fuel before thinking something isn’t right? 50,000 miles 6.7 FULL tank of fuel 48 gallons in tank
Ok! Another great vid! so now I will start draining every month. How much can I expect out of there and for the everyday do it yourselfer what do you do with the fuel? Can it go with your oil to get recycled?
question when ever i do my fuel filter change and i drain out the bottom filter it drains forever is that suppose too happen ive filled up a whole bucket and little more before, i feel like that's a lot but not really sure ive been told too leave the fuel cap open but haven't tried that or maybe thats just normal
It's actually in your owner's manual you're supposed to take A-line off the top of the housing but if you get a large Tupperware container and just rip the bolts out you can just make a big mess real quick and it will be done. That's what I do I don't wait for anything to drain I just rip the bolts out let it douche and it's done
Now do a video on what to do if you break the return line connector on a 17-19. I know Ford doesn’t offer the connector by itself, you have to buy the line and connector but Amazon sells the replacement connectors. Are they worth it in a pinch?
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I helped a friend change his fuel filters for the first time in 25k miles 😬… he hadn’t drained it in that time either. The drain just kept going and going... 2 gallons with no end in sight. Is it possible to drain the entire fuel tank from the yellow water drain? It looked like fuel, not water. Should I tell him to let it continue until it stops? I was afraid to tighten it and then remove the filter, for fear that I’d get drenched in fuel.
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I’ve been a long time subscriber and watched every video you put out. I told my neighbor to watch them though. When I got the lower fuel cover off, it was filthy…there was a brown oily substance which I’ve never seen on any of my Superduty’s. I should have taken a picture. I told him to do another filter change in 5000 miles or less to filter that crud out. Have you ever seen that before?
when i tried to drain the water to change my filer it never stopped draining it kept syphoning fuel from my tank i drained almost two gallons and new something wasn't right so i stopped it. Why did it not stop draining is there some sort of vaccum? thanks
Just got my 2020 f250 6.7 XL last month. Seeing this video made me go drain mine. I noticed that it’s all nasty and dripping fuel I called to make a appointment hopefully it’s covered under warranty for me
I am brand new to the power stroke world. This was a great vid. There is a lot of great aftermarket filters out there. That I have used on all my gassers f250. With no problems. Just asking and wondering why you are recommending Motorcraft Products?
.....because your new! Thats why. U spend good coin.....you USE ONLY MOTORCRAFT products in your Ford Powerstroke. No aftermarket shizzzzz whatsoever. Stay locked to my channel & you'll see......
Okay. I opened my water drainin order to replace the filter element and so far two gallons of fuel have came out and it still wants to continue dropping fuel. When is it safe to remove the filter housing?
I have a 2020 f250 super duty that I put super low miles on and just now getting to 15k so changing the fuel filter. Is this bad that I didn’t change it sooner?
How does one cycle the key when my 2020 Super Duty doesn't have a key? Once one presses the start button the truck starts. And if the glow plugs aren't ready the start will occur subsequently with no other no action. So I need further guidence, please.
Tell your friends who have power strokes to stay locked to the number one power stroke channel on the Internet!!! Check out my pod playlist...u might likey
So what happens if i forgot to cycle the key 6 times before changing the upper filter? And then my dumb ass was being rushed so i turned the ignition on heard the pump filling the bottom filter, waited for it to stop, started the truck, truck ran for 5sec and then died, now it wont fire??? Need help please. Clearly a fuel pressure thing.
I am about to do my first FF change. Do you brake clean the upper FF and surrounding area after you complete the install? If the answer is yes then should I use 1 or 2 cans?
When draining the water separator monthly does anything else need to be done to fill the housing back up? This is my first diesel, just want to make sure it gets done right.
So I don't have a 2020, my Dad does and I'll be doing this for him....how do you cycle the "key" on and off 6 times for 10 seconds at a time, if it's the push button w/fob? I'm not being a smart ass, I really want to know, I'm not familiar with the push button, accel on w/o starting.
ARod. Can you help me I changed the top fuel filter zero issues . When i started to change the bottom filter I did the drain at the water fuel drain valve and it went through 2 … 13 qt oil pans and is still draining fuel. I just toped off the fuel tank ? Should it be 1/2 tank ?
I’ve watched like 2-3 different 6.7 fuel filter videos over the year. This is BY FAR the best and most comprehensive video.

First off thanks for all the info. Second is brake cleaner too corrosive to clean the inside of the filter housing or it don’t matter.
#brakecleanmafia 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Great video! Quick question, how do I / we cycle the key to bump the bowls full of fuel if we have push button start?
Right derrrr in da comments..answered, may be even pinned...🤷♂️
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod , Thanks, but I still can't seem to find it?
Lets think, how 1 one listen the radio with out starting it.......hmmmm
Is the procedure the same for 2017-2019? Specifically the priming process.
Yes
Question? On a 2021 f350 super duty diesel 6.7 , towing a 7500 lb camper cross country, how often should I be changing the fuel filters?
I change every 10k....but thats me
I have drained the water separator multiple times and have good fuel but the light and reduced power will not go off on my 2020 F350
Draining the fuel bro.......has absolutely no bearing on the reduced power message....
I can understand
Just changed my filters. Thanks to this video it was smooth! FD-4641 is what the dealer told me. Comes without the unneeded clip. Thanks for your help!
Wooowoooo
Only use motorcraft what about the boldwin filters that comes with the filter when you move it under the truck are they ok to use thanks
You are Awesome. I liked how you took the time to explain each step. Made it simple.
Thx pal
I have just gotten my 2020 F350 and I am glad to have found an informative video on my truck.
Stay here, cuz we got some goooood stuff 😉
Everytime I Google something about my 6.7 you always have a video for it. I do have a couple of questions and was wondering the best way to get ahold of you?
Powerstroketechtalkwarod@gmail.com
Thank you I emailed you
After changing the bottom filter u did the key cycled then the top filter and key cycle , would l do the same for my 2016 , l have done the key cycle after doing both filters thanks. Good video ARod thanks as always
11-21 is the exact same procedure!! 👍👍👍
Great video as usual, I did mine without any issues but I don’t see a fuel filter life monitor to reset , did Ford not put it in the cluster ? 2020 F350 Platinum
Nope
Hi, thanks for the video, its clear and well explained.
Question regarding (ignition on 6 times), what is the process for F250 with Press Start? Shall I press 6 times?
Brother, ya gotta make due diligence before you ask......ReAD the comments. Went over many many of times....
How often do you change fuel filters?
15k miles
I’m about to buy a 6.7 250 and since this will be my first diesel, I have been doing maintenance research so I know what I’m getting myself in to and you make it so easy to understand
....why do you edit that up a bit so I can understand....
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod freakin swipe autocorrect keyboard
🥴 i was like whaTTT, appreciate it pal. See you tomorrow night LIVE STREAM TIME
New to the powerstroke world, but is it normal for it to sound like your filling up a fountain drink when its priming after doing the rear filter? I get that its building pressure and filling up the filter, but just want to make sure i didnt miss align the filter or something stupid like that. The filter was snapped in the lower housing, and the lower housing mated up to the upper housing without any issues. Sorry if its a dumb question, its my first time doing one of these.
Yepp, it will go away once that lower housing gets filled with fuel.
Very good information, but I am having one problem. While the water seemed to have stopped, the fuel did not stop and I drained about 4 gallons? Any suggestions??? Quickly
Pull the lines off the top and leave them off
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod you mean the lines off the upper filter? Or off the top of the bottom filter?
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod thanks for your help. When I disconnected the upper filter and then drained the lower filter there was only a small of amount of fuel left 1/3 gallon? Then I could finish the job for lower and upper filter change. Thanks for your explanation. 👍
Can you disclose the programming that is on that truck? Asking for my truck 😁
Hey Arod is this the same procedure for a 2017 Ford 350 6.7 turbo diesel? So drain the water hello tab every month will take make the truck run better?
Yes
This is very detailed with good camera lighting and quality. Excellent video.
Hey, thanks!
I mean how big a container should I bring to the party next time 🤷♂️🤔
Water is THEE 1st thing to come out
Great video. Just did my first fuel filter change on my new to me 22 Tremor. Since the cartridge fits so loose, can you actually screw it up? Will it even fit back together when not locked in place correctly?
It centers itself once u put it up
Thanks for video arod, doing mine soon, new to me 6.7 and first time diesel owner and love your channel. Thanks for all the help. Mite be thinking of a dcr at some point
Come see us! We do them daily.
@ will do, thank you
Don't think about it brother, do it ASAP.. ticking time bomb
Good video. My stock top filter housing failed at 35k miles and sprayed diesel all over my engine. Made a mess for me to clean up for sure.
Not sure if Arod mentioned this in another video or not, but I absolutely wouldn’t even think about doing this job unless I had a spare yellow drain plug or an aluminum one available. They break way too easy.
Nver broke one.....what r u guys doing to these things....like fer real
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod seriously you haven’t?! I did my first filter change today and those little ears popped right off when I was tightening it. Maybe 3/4 tight and they came off.
Never....& believe me i have no reason to bullshit
Great video AROD! Looks easier than most to change both fuel filters. Love the channel you have taught me a lot keep up the good work!
Thanks pal!!!😉
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod Where is your shop? I have 2020 F350 Dually Lariat

What do I do if fuel just keeps coming out of the separator drain? I drained 2 gallons of fuel before thinking something isn’t right? 50,000 miles 6.7 FULL tank of fuel 48 gallons in tank
Stay tuned to these next few videos stop waiting for it to drink just drop it
Ok! Another great vid! so now I will start draining every month. How much can I expect out of there and for the everyday do it yourselfer what do you do with the fuel? Can it go with your oil to get recycled?
Every month, drain it for 30 secs.....cycle key 6 times...10 sec duration. AND NO DONT DUMP THAT SHIT IN UR OIL, CMON...you wanna come see me!!!🤨
I'm only priming once after I change both filters. I've had no problems doing it that way. Am I making a mistake?
question when ever i do my fuel filter change and i drain out the bottom filter it drains forever is that suppose too happen ive filled up a whole bucket and little more before, i feel like that's a lot but not really sure ive been told too leave the fuel cap open but haven't tried that or maybe thats just normal
It's actually in your owner's manual you're supposed to take A-line off the top of the housing but if you get a large Tupperware container and just rip the bolts out you can just make a big mess real quick and it will be done. That's what I do I don't wait for anything to drain I just rip the bolts out let it douche and it's done
I'm about to trade my 2014 Powerstroke for a newer dually. I'm glad the filter cap no longer takes that big ass socket and a breaker bar.
No doubt
Now do a video on what to do if you break the return line connector on a 17-19. I know Ford doesn’t offer the connector by itself, you have to buy the line and connector but Amazon sells the replacement connectors. Are they worth it in a pinch?
I have somethin in the works
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I helped a friend change his fuel filters for the first time in 25k miles 😬… he hadn’t drained it in that time either. The drain just kept going and going... 2 gallons with no end in sight. Is it possible to drain the entire fuel tank from the yellow water drain? It looked like fuel, not water. Should I tell him to let it continue until it stops? I was afraid to tighten it and then remove the filter, for fear that I’d get drenched in fuel.
Yall need to watch my fuel sys playlists man
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I’ve been a long time subscriber and watched every video you put out.
Send me a pic
Due on my ‘17, so Saturday sounds good. Looking forward to laying on some cardboard again. Happy times.
At 17.40 you said there was 1 flake of metal. How does metal get to this point in the fuel system? Would this be the start of a cp4 failures
Very well possible OR from an outside source
when i tried to drain the water to change my filer it never stopped draining it kept syphoning fuel from my tank i drained almost two gallons and new something wasn't right so i stopped it. Why did it not stop draining is there some sort of vaccum? thanks

Is this the same or relatively the same for the 2014 6.7?
Way different filters, watch our video for that
Just got my 2020 f250 6.7 XL last month.
Are the clips on the secondary filter available as a separate item from ford? Asking for a friend 👍😎👍
🙉🤦♂️ no sir...
I wish we could trust all service technicians. Ever thought about moving near charlotte NC?
Nope
Okay. I opened my water drainin order to replace the filter element and so far two gallons of fuel have came out and it still wants to continue dropping fuel. When is it safe to remove the filter housing?
Juss remove it now, ur good
Great video, I very much appreciate the detailed descriptions with everything you are doing.
Thank u my friend
What happens if you change both filters before prime them?
I have a 2020 f250 super duty that I put super low miles on and just now getting to 15k so changing the fuel filter. Is this bad that I didn’t change it sooner?
No but we do ours every 10k
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod thanks for the reply! Love this channel btw
@evanc85 thanksss man
How does one cycle the key when my 2020 Super Duty doesn't have a key? Once one presses the start button the truck starts. And if the glow plugs aren't ready the start will occur subsequently with no other no action. So I need further guidence, please.

Got an air lock. Gotta purge it out
I am about to do my first FF change. Do you brake clean the upper FF and surrounding area after you complete the install? If the answer is yes then should I use 1 or 2 cans?
Yes to all to theee above 😂😂
Should we also be doing that monthly if we have a 2012 6.7
Yes sir
When draining the water separator monthly does anything else need to be done to fill the housing back up? This is my first diesel, just want to make sure it gets done right.

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I skimmed over it the first time, found the answer. Thank you sir!
Is the water drain valve only on the 2017…2022
All diesels that have a blue oval on it have WATER DRAIN valves

Brotha just drop the whole housing & be done.
