Thank you so much for this. I just purchased a 2021 F-350 lariat sport/black appearance SRW. I’ve been trying to learn a few things (maintenance wise) I can do to avoid running to the dealer for everything. Your help is invaluable, thank you. Happy holidays to you and the family,
Yes, got to learn. Took my truck for first oil change. They recommended a new air filter. Watching videos recommended every 30k miles. Mine has 4k miles.
On the top filter there’s a plastic clip on the bottom of the filter that locks into a slot on the filter holder , turn counter clockwise to unlock then lift out filter
To open drain, just turn counterclockwise about 1/5 turn- don’t try to actually remove it. Fuel weeps out slowly, but after 5-6 minutes you’ll be drained down enough to remove filter housing cover.
Hey man great content as always! Going back to a subject that was brought up a few episodes ago. Something for you to try in your videos, this has to do with your traction control. Press once traction control off. Press twice rapidly Sport Mode. Press and hold for 6 seconds or more Advance Track Off completely. I would like to see if the Torque Management is completely disabled when turning Advance Track off. As always keep up the good work! Brent
You you should next install a titan Xl replacement tank with all the driving you do! I did and it is amazing the time you do not spend at fuel stations.
Workplaytv i love watching your channel alot every day u are awesome TH-camr say safe and healthy with your family i hope this will get better soon keep making up great work on channel how are you and your wife and the little one 😀
I had a 17 and now have a 20. I’ve changed these things a bunch, but this is my first on the 20. The 20 part number comes with a little “clamshell” set of two pieces that looks like they’d enclose a connection. I don’t see where you had this. Frankly, it is why I sought out a video on the 2020 fuel filter change, to find out what these clamshell plastic pieces are for. Still confused - didn’t see you mess with anything like that. The change is identical to the 17. Any insight?
The only difference between the part numbers it’s got the same filters one kit has plastic fittings that’s the only difference 17-19 PN has plastic fittings for return line which won’t fit on a 2020, return line is a 90 Both filters are the same through 17 to 20 Both part numbers will work on your 6.7 power stroke
Yep a Sunday afternoon decided to change the fuel filters..... well that one close to the front of the truck snapped. Was able to bootleg a fix for a couple days.... ordered a part through an Amazon supplier... get the one that has a hose clamp...the other one sucks. Maybe get a couple extra...
@@workplaytv just changed the filters today, it was pretty easy the only issue I kinda had was the fitting closest to the windshield on the round filter, that was minor though. Excellent video. In Minnesota, I just ordered a F-350 xlt 6.7 with Tremor package. Build is scheduled for mid April. I think they still using cp4.2 pump or maybe Ford will make a mid year change? I know RAM HO cummins went to cp3 for 2021

I had mine done at the dealer for it’s first filter change and it was over $300. Definitely highway robbery. It’s not gone back for any services. I feel better running my Amsoil and EA filter on the truck anyways. Going to get a baseline on it with the used oil analysis next time I drop the oil.
