Think durability over time is a key factor buying a tennis shoe - playing surface dependent. I also loved the Sonicage. But fell apart after a couple months of regular play 😢. So back to ASICS for me for now. Maybe give us an update after playing with them for a while? Cheers
If you liked the Sonicage, then I think you'll love these. And they definitely feel more durable, but we can let you know in time. Which Asics do you go for?
There is a wide version availible. You can go true to size on that, but the toebox for the normal width one is pretty snug since it is a speed shoe.Your best bet is to go 1/2 size up.
Had toe joint surgery so all I care about is a stiff forefoot (to protect from toe extension), roomy toe box, and decent cushioning as I’m not getting any younger. Are these for me or is there a better option out there? I could care less about speed lol
It does also come in a 'Wide' version, so it may well be the shoe you're looking for! Plus the Power Cushion technology provide terrific cushioning. Best to try them though - we wouldn't want to be responsible for sending you back top the surgeon 😬
@@ph-tennis Unfortunately no such thing as wide sizes here in Brazil 😥.. I can certainly try them out but since I have to order online and deal with potential return costs, need to narrow the search down!
am looking to purchase a pair but as a hard court slider I tend to tear through the inside of the shoe. For instance I really liked the new Gel Resolutions but after play there was a hole on the inside of the shoe while no damage was done to the outsole. How thick is the rubber guard on these yonexes?

Starting to see a trend here..
Does toe box feel tight ? I'm between D and 2E...go true to size?
