Having only read about these engines in books before finding your channel it is amazing to not only to see them but see your examples of these. Hard not to be a fan of these. Thank you for sharing.
When I was a senior in High School, our shop built several 454 Ford Tunnelports for a local dirt track racer. He dominated the track and it was a great experience for a High School student. Our motors used 427 side oiler blocks and 428 cranks.
I can only speak for myself, so I will tell you that I am a Blue Oval guy to the core, that is here for information, not entertainment, and I learn something every time I watch one of your videos!
I love me some FE. I built me a 445 and fuel injected it and it made 455 tq and 420 hp at 5300. You just can't beat them. Oh that's at the rear tires. Thanks Brent.
Only boring people get bored. Your engine builds are very interesting, I’m always looking for ideas to improve my builds, or validate some my ideas- hey! I’m not the only one who does that ! Thanks Brett
Dear Brent, ignore the trolls . You are my go to source for Ford and FE build stuff. I own a 68 GT500KR with original 428 CJ, 4 speed. It’s sports the factory cast exhaust manifolds due to originality requirements. I considered you my Ford Guru so please ignore the chirping fools. They do not represent your audience. I’m hoping to consult with you in the future for my engine freshen up next year. Please be assured the silent majority value your knowledge. I personally enjoy the matter of fact delivery without annoying background music and fluff. You do you cause it works !!!!
Nothing so awesome looking 1965 technology with that wicked caught intake man that was a cool under the hood of a car and a cruise night. Nobody would know what the heck it is.
You make those engines a piece of art and very strong running, makes me wonder why more people don't use them, they are awesome and they are very powerful, have one on a stand but I don't know what size it is, thinking about putting it in a 93 Explorer 4+4 ,it has a stock four barrel holly carb and the driver side head has c4ae and the passenger side has like 6-7 digits in an oval and there are no numbers on the block except for WX under the oil filter adapter, pulled one valve cover and noticed how short the push rods are,bet that is good for stiffness at high RPM, it's got to come apart because rain water got in it, so I guess I'll measure the bore and stroke when I get it apart, thanks for the knowledge and have a great evening
Your doing a fantastic job on those beautiful FE engines!.... I'd be happy to stuff one under the hood of a????.... '66 Fairlane maybe?... 🙂👍 Don't pay any attention to those morons that are giving you problems.... Their mothers probably them for the way they turned out...🤣 You keep up the good work sir!....🙂👍
Keep doing what you're doing, Brent. We love you and what you do, what you say, and how you say it. The internet trolls can go X@#k themselves. I don't want to watch a video of a phoney know-it-all with a blown up ego, who lies about the end results. Most have never even built a Briggs and Stratton, let alone an FE. I can say I have done both. I only wish you had been around 40 years ago, lol.
Be VERY careful around sodium cooled exh. valves, like a full coverage faceshield. I used to assist in overhaul of Wright radial acft. engines & the O/H manual was very clear about disposing these valves in DEEP water. Sort of the lithium ion battery situation of the 1960 era.
Sorry to hear Brent your receiving some abusive comments. This makes zero sense to me. I for one am very happy with tour videos and voice! Good health to you Brent and please keep up the excellent content!
Why do the carbs on the second motor have two holes drilled in the choke air horn? Did they at one time have some sort of rear accelerator pump tubes going through them?
Has anyone tried straightening out the FE exhaust ports for better flow? It would require some cutting and welding to get the better upward angle. But it would be worth it I believe.
Nice build brent, love your vedios, nice horse power motors, how much power have you got out of the high riser heads, is jay brown new tunnel port heads going to flow very well also ,thanks again for input on the fe engines
We aren't here for eloquence and animated diction but rather the valuable content. Press on Brent. We appreciate your efforts.

Right
Makes me wonder why Ford didn't build a 450+ cubic inch FE since they had the parts to do it. It would have been a monster in Fairlanes and Mustangs.
Don't listen to Haters. Your channel is a favorite to watch. Especially the F.E. builds. Don't change anything.
I can only speak for myself, so I will tell you that I am a Blue Oval guy to the core, that is here for information, not entertainment, and I learn something every time I watch one of your videos!
You and Drew are true masters of the work you do!
I love all of these videos Brent especially the 351 Cleveland video, they are all very educating thank you so much sir,💯💯💯✌🏻

Please keep doing what you have been, I prefer knowledge over drama...
You do a great job Sir. I am a huge Cleveland Fan. Hope you do another one soon.
I love your Ford content brent it's definitely helped me with deciding on my engine build for my 69 f250 hi boy
That high compression tunnel port is super impressive💯💯💯
I enjoy listening to you very much. Me being hard of hearing your words comes across very clear

A few more masterpieces from the FE maestro!
Keep going, your narration is awesome, love you tone!

Wow ! Love your knowledge.
Those Holman and moody valve covers on the last engine! 👍
You tell them if they don't like move on. We like your video's😁👍👍👍
Brent, keep doing what you do. F em if they dont like it.
Don't mind the comments coming from the peanut gallery. I like your video format. These engines are absolute BEASTS especially with factory parts!!
Awesome video ! Blue Oval for the street!
MY favorite FE heads and build good job Brent don t change any thing screaming won t build more horsepower
Ha! That's funny.
Keep doing what you're doing.
I enjoyed watching your video I always like the FE engines
TH-cam trolls are a dime a dozen. Just be yourself. I and most others are here for the learning experience. Do what you do. You do it well.
You made it Brent, you're not big time until you have some haters. Keep it up man you're doing great.
Nice work, makes sense big cubic inch to move the air on the big factory port heads.

Buggar them, keep pressing on mate
Great content!! Thanks
I heard that the 427's used at lemans, were put on a stand and run for 24 straight hours.😊
Love all the videos. Great work. Question. Why did the first engine make peak HP at 6000 rpm while the second one went all the way to 7000 rpm?
Because of the cam. One is a street hydraulic roller, the other is a street/strip solid roller.
You voice sounds just fine!

Your Voice is great to me.
Great content and yes I'm biased I'm a big Ford guy. Keep em coming and I'll try and watch em all!!!
loved it I am wide awake
Haters gonna hate ! Keep up the good work .

Has anyone ever produced an aluminum version of the tunnelport heads?
Dove did years ago.
Keep doing it your way. Whiners gotta whine.

Screw the haters if there not tuned in to learn they can hit the Road.
please ignore haters.
Do they want you to be the "Elmer Gantry" of engine builders??
Apparently I'm supposed to be a public speaker as well.
Hahaha, looks like your mechanical engineering degree isn't good enough!! Surely you can find a couple of online courses...@lykinsmotorsports
Nice build brent, love your vedios, nice horse power motors, how much power have you got out of the high riser heads, is jay brown new tunnel port heads going to flow very well also ,thanks again for input on the fe engines
The Chevelle for brains complaining are pathetic.❤
Don't worry about the bored haters Brent.
They can crawl back under their uber boring 350 SBCs!
😴😴😴
I can see how flat the front of the engine how it was possible to build the SOCH engine., fairly flat
