    Maria, I just want you guys to know that the longer I do keto or carnivore, the more I see that your findings around lowering the fat, and meeting your protein macros is absolutely correct when it comes to fat loss. The overload of calories and fat in the keto/carnivore community, is doing people who seriously need help with insulin resistance, a major disservice! Fat intake matters, calories matter, and protein matters.

    Love this type of video, so helpful. Coffee/caffeine also changes the structure of the brain for the worse. Caffeine blues is also a helpful book.

    I had a friend pass away. We were going through her closet. Brought home a few garments. The fabric softener reeks even after a few washes. I’ve always been repulsed by fabric softener. Always been sensitive to soaps and shampoos. I have curly hair like you. Gotta find out what products you use on your hair. I try to minimize as much chemical exposure as possible. I supplement to support my liver (tudca, liver capsules from equip, dandelion root tea. )

    Is it okay to meet your protein goal in 2 meals for example? I don't really get hungry. Yet. I struggle with losing any weight. I'm 58 and diagnosed recently with NAFLD. I think I may struggle with PSMF if I have to eat 3 or 4 times.

    I switched from levothyroxin to armor about 6 months ago and from the estradiol pill to the estradiol patch. I’ve been gaining weight since. I’ve been keto for 6 years (lost 30 lbs.) but now I’m 56 and the weight will not budge. So frustrating, not knowing if it’s the changes in meds or age?

I have a lot of allergies and intolerances. I’m trying to improve myself every day. My breast cancer was 12 years ago. I have been on keto for about six years now. Learning a lot.     I drink black coffee only 2 cups in the morning, it doesn’t bother me but lately I’ve tested my blood sugar before coffee and after a cup and it’s definitely higher after ? ,I’m stalled after losing 70 lbs could it be the coffee x

    Hi Maria, I have cut alcohol few years ago I cut cheese after watching your vidoes and I STILL have to quit decaff coffee. I have a question for you: do you think that instead of coffee I can replace my morning ritual with drinking warm gelatin bovine ? I just came up with this yesterday ? Gelatin is zero fat and carbs and only have proteins.

    Recently I am struggling with sleep!!.I sleep only about 4 hours or less a night. I am feeling without strength in the morning and I am not productive during the day.Then I will sleep good for one night, then the pattern starts again

      If you've met your protein goal for the day then that is fine. Otherwise, you need to try to meet your protein goal.

    The pool water! I got fatty liver very young but I was a competitive swimmer! I had no idea! Now I have to take choline supplements to help my liver remove the fat.

      What's frustrating is that the remedies to help have been known for a very long time even since the 1930's! NAFLD has been ignored by all the doctors I've seen over the years because I don't drink, liver enzymes have been ignored. Maybe I should book a session with you?     I was told I have fatty liver and I’m 34… I eat an animal based diet but don’t go crazy with the fat either… but my home is not toxin free, I’ve gone back and forth on some cleaning stuff because I can’t find anything that works but I also can’t lose weight to save my life.. how do you do low fat keto? And could the chemicals in laundry and cleaning stuff really cause fatty liver? I’m shocked.

    How many grams of protein can we eat above the recommended amount, i'm hungry if i only eat 100 g of protein (female, 34 years old, 168 cm tall, 62 kg, not very active)

      At your height, your bare minimum protein goal is 105g per day. You can go over that goal if you want. Fat and carbs are limits.

      You're thinking about bad estrogens. HRT is totally safe when you are diagnosed and treated correctly by a medical professional specializing in HRT :)
