Jalen Hurts being called overrated in this video when only had a single full year with an entirely new infrastructure is crazy. ESPECIALLY when you consider how much hate he gets. Carr has no place in this list. He is underrated if anything. He kept horrible Raiders teams somewhat competitive and relevant. He had some of the worse defenses and horrible draft selections from the previous brass. With Adams, Josh Jacobs, Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller, and a top ten offensive line, just watch out for this team as a wild card dark horse.
Who is overrating Wentz? The Commanders are purgatory for any player who is struggling to stay in the league. Last year in Indy pretty much erased any support the guy had. I put Tua here. Just not excited by what he does on the field and he has to be really good to make me change my mind.
My list of most overrated players include: Evan Engram, Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, Nick Foles, DeShaun Watson, Matthew Stafford, Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman, Vita Vea, OBJ, Chase Claypool, Darius Slay Jr., JJ Watt, Jimmy G, Christian McCaffrey and Aaron Rodgers. These occupy a special place on my list of overrated players.
I disagree with the Tua comment. 90% of fans I see find ways to drag him through the mud. Not to say he's underrated because he hasnt done anything awe inspiring, but definitely wouldn't call him overrated due to the entire media dragging him.
So we aren’t gonna talk about Tom Brady owing his entire career to cheating and an NFL commissioner who let him get away with it multiple times? I’d say thats an over rated QB.
I'm sorry, did he call Carr overrated?? The channel that constantly bashes on him and the Raiders? We watching the same sports shows? All I see talking head do is talk down about Carr.
Derek Carr does not belong on this list. True he has no playoff wins but he's also consistently had horrible defenses and offensive lines. The only time he ever legitimately had a good team surrounding him was 2015 and that's the year he almost won the MVP. And if he did not get injured in the last game of the regular season the Raiders would probably have not lost in the first round of the playoffs. He's had 7 head coaches and even more offensive coordinators and usually had a sparse surrounding cast. Yet he remains one of the most consistently productive qbs in the league. The leadership he showed last year during the Gruden fiasco and then the Henry Ruggs tragedy proved that he is not overrated. But the hacks at TPS will continue to say he is either because they don't do their homework or simply don't like Carr.
Really, Mac Jones? people barely recognizes the good year he and the Pats have last year, what about Tagovailoa that have more experience on the NFL, yet he can´t be in the playoffs and even Chetah is hyping like if the fins gonna go to the SB?
And average means great in my book. To make it to the pro's is hard enough. Cousins beat the Saints in the playoffs. I called the td pass before it happened. We almost always lose to the Raiders if Carr is playing but we are playing them this season so I am going to close with a big fat Who Dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints ?
The most overrated quarterback in the NFL? Anyone the Bears have at QB. Yes, they all absolutely stink. But no matter how bad they are, they are always going to be perceived as better than they actually are. The Bears absolutely, utterly totally stink at drafting, signing, and/or developing QBs...
If you can't figure out why Wentz has a starting job that's because you're basically dumb. No point explaining to you because you wouldn't retain it. Wentz is extremely underrated. Nobody says he's even a decent QB of which he is a a solid QB. Wentz 'is cheap compared to what most starters cost.

It's the Colts system. Did they seriously believe in Phillip Rivers in 2020?
Carson Wentz was a franchise QB until his knee injury. As for Jalen Hurts, he is completely overrated. 5th round talent drafted in the 2nd round. Doesn't have the arm, doesn't have he pocket presence and is just a placeholder until Philly can find someone better.
TPS continues with their hating on the Patriots. Then they later contradicted themselves about the pro bowl. When talking about Mac Jones, who is NOT overrated, they said that basically anyone can make the pro bowl, but when talking about Kyler Murray they said it's nothing to sneeze at, so which is it. Also throwing shade at rookie quarterbacks and calling someone still developing "overrated" is ridiculous. TUA should be on the list for being overrated.
Idk their a weird corporation this whole list is kind of questionable with some of them being genuinely, kind of to a little overated. To flat out reaching for rookies.
James Winston is average to mediocre in my book. I wonder what you would have said about Taysom Hill if he was still on the roster as a quarterback. You really can't say Hill was hyped up as 99% of sports media tried to destroy his skills.
Justin Herbert is super overrated, his entire biased fan base thinks he’s better than Joe Burrow, Mathew Stafford, and Patrick Mahomes it’s insane, the dude hasn’t even made the playoffs yet. I may as well continue my comment cause I already know people are going to make excuses for him, like his defense was bottom 5 but WTF cares if he had a weakness on his team. I could make an excuse for all 31 teams on why they didn’t win the SB this year, so I DON’T know why when it’s Justin Herbert we somehow have to think of EVERY excuse in the book and call him a top 5 quarterback🙄
Matt Ryan is good qb top 10 even You might hate me for saying that but the reasons why tps is hating him is unreasonable. The 28-3 loss wasn't his fault it was the coaching decisions and if you think he's a choker, then why is it,( the last time I recall) he was in the 10 game saving nfl players ever? Also, most of his seasons that where losing was because his defense was horrible and when he did have a good defense he went to the super bowl. Same thing with Mac Jones, y'all were saying he's gonna be amazing and isn't overrated throughout the off-season and now your calling him overrated. Oh yeah what about Lawrence. You guys are Calling him overrated just by his rookie season. First of all he's a rookie what do you expect. There are NFL greats like Peyton manning and more having bad rookie seasons, now I'm not trying to compare him to Peyton manning but my reason is that there are great players that had bad seasons but turned out to have great careers and Lawrence has the potential. Second reason is that HES ON THE JAGUARS so what do you expect. He doesn't have a great wr core to work with and he didn't have a great o-line in his rookie year.
Who is rating him highly though? The Steelers took a QB in the first round when they easily could have waited into the second, so they don't think that much of him. For just about everyone else, he's just expected to at most only start at the beginning of the season if Pickett needs more time to get ready. So the only way you can really say that he's overrated is if you think he should be the third string QB in Pittsburgh while he's being projected to end up as the second string.
To be overrated everybody has to be ranting about how great a players is and the sports world, the fans & sports media pundits will totally, exaggerate a player's ability & achievements. I just explained to you what "overrated" means now do your homework kid!
@@StarShadowPrimal the reason I say he is overrated is because of how much everyone is saying he’ll be this completely different QB. That Pittsburgh will completely change the QB we saw in Chicago. And just because the qb is in a better place then he was before doesn’t mean he’ll transcend into this completely different top 10 QB(also we have no clue if Pickett would have made it to the 2nd round as he is the best qb of the 2022 draft)

Jalen hurts started a whole season for the first time last year and he only had 1 good at and a good TE and we are seeing him trying to improve in the off-season which seems to be working to some point
Hurts has had three whole off seasons to work out with his teammates and get acquainted with his guys. In 2020, He had experience playing in the off season, the preseason, the regular season. In 2021 he played the off season, preseason, regular season & the post season. Even in 2020 Jalen Hurts played 3 preseaon games, four full games in the regular season and he came in and out of five regular season games as a gadget player. So, those 12 games, in 2020 counts as game experience and can be credited as his real rookie year. Hurts has had a head start over TRUE rookies. The man has two seasons under his belt. I'm tired of hearing that excuse. Its an excuse at this point. Jalen Hurts was not a rookie in 2021. He is top 10 all time in yards (59,700), TDs (367), yards per game, passes completed, completion percentage, lowest interception percentage, game winning drives, and comebacks. He led a franchise that had never had back to back winning seasons to 5 straight winning seasons and has a comfortably winning record, even with the recent struggles in ATL. Despite all these accomplishments, nobody thinks he is any good. So how could anybody think he is overrated?
This seems like the underrated list for me with the exception of Wentz, Lawrence, and Murray who I agree with, while Tannehill is appropriately rated. Almost all of the other quarterbacks you listed are underrated or slightly underrated imo
Matt Ryan and Derek Carr should not be on this list, they both carried their sorry ass franchises for awhile now. Matt Ryan is finally on a good team on the Colts and the Raiders are finally not stuck up their own asses anymore and building a great team around Carr.
You can't honestly name 16 quarterbacks better than Kirk Cousins in the NFL, and I've never seen anyone argue he's a top ten quarterback. I have seen people put Carr in the top ten, but I'd say he's properly rated for the most part. Stafford is more overrated than they are. People have him top five all of a sudden. You missed a few. Marcus Mariota, Jimmy Garoppolo, Tua Tagovailoa, Taysom Hill (if he's still considered one), Sam Darnold, and you could make a strong argument for Baker Mayfield. If we're talking about guys who are actually good, but get too much hype, I guess I'd agree with Prescott and Murray a little. If you're going to call them out, you have to call out Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow too though. Andy Reid has made every quarterback who has ever played for him look like a pro bowler at some point. You can't suddenly pretend that's not a thing simply because Patrick Mahomes is the first really good one he's had. Joe Burrow is good. Real good. Let's not pretend Ja'Marr Chase doesn't have a lot to do with his success, and all those sacks are on the offensive line. And I mentioned Stafford already. He's always been good, but people have completely lost their minds after last season.
Also, in his first year with the Vikings they had rookie kicker Dan Carlson who was cut before the season was half over. He missed a lot of field goals. Kirk also had a horrible offensive line that couldn’t protect a “pocket passer”. Laquan Treadwell who dropped a lot of passes. That’s a lot for most QBs to overcome. I think a lot of football fans don’t recognize how important a dependable place kicker is. The kicker that wins those extra two, three or four games in a season.
Overrated like you said doesn't mean they aren't good. But I'd have to say Jackson. He numbers look like he's great. But breaking the numbers down. And watching him try and throw the football from the pocket shows you something else. Now he's not terrible. But he's not even close to a top 10 QB. He'd be a poster child for the term overrated.
Well said, the term used is 'overrated' & he's most definitely that, each year he gets worse & never improves his throwing dynamic, which is in dire need
I feel like most of these guys are rated extremely accurately. Who on planet earth is overrating Carson Wentz. I feel bad for the dude because everybody hates him, meaning he is everything but overrated. You are acting like Derek Carr and Matt Ryan were the problem on their teams and are to blame for their losses. Literally what. Also, it wasnt Jalen Hurts fault in that loss to the Bucs. The whole team was bad. I'm usually a big fan of this channel but this video was just wrong so many times.
Tannehill is still underrated I'm getting tired of them saying he's a bad quarterback put some respect on him he's still got some solid recievers and is still a top 20 QB seriously how do you decline when your entire offense is hurt, how? I love this channel, don't get me wrong, but they do need to stop disrespecting Tannehill every single video he literally got the Titans to the AFC Championship and the number one seed without Henry and he made Henry a franchise player with Willis he wouldn't be the same player I don't think, at least at first. So yes Tannehill has declined, but not to the point to where you can say he's truly overrated, he's doing everything he can to keep the Titans in the playoff race winning their division is still a possibility they ain't that much different than the Colts to be honest so yeah Tannehill, still a good QB, don't count him out just yet.

Who is overrating Wentz? The Commanders are purgatory for any player who is struggling to stay in the league. Last year in Indy pretty much erased any support the guy had.
I put Tua here. Just not excited by what he does on the field and he has to be really good to make me change my mind.

These occupy a special place on my list of overrated players.
I disagree with the Tua comment. 90% of fans I see find ways to drag him through the mud. Not to say he's underrated because he hasnt done anything awe inspiring, but definitely wouldn't call him overrated due to the entire media dragging him.

Second reason is that HES ON THE JAGUARS so what do you expect. He doesn't have a great wr core to work with and he didn't have a great o-line in his rookie year.
How is Mitch trubisky not on this list? I’m a Steelers fan and he is HEAVILY overrated
To be overrated everybody has to be ranting about how great a players is and the sports world, the fans & sports media pundits will totally, exaggerate a player's ability & achievements. one video: Zeke is overrated second video: dak is only good because he has zeke. what!?
as a titans fan Nobody is overrating tannehill
He isn't overrated he is just inconsistent
Kirk Cousins is overrated!? A Vikings fan myself we all know that he is pretty average and fairly rated SO HOW TF IS HE OVERRATED!?
Stafford was on the lions but soon as he went to the rams he elevated his game, so I think Matt Ryan will do the same with the colts
Elevated his game?! Not even his top 5 best seasons… he went to an elevated TEAM…
Yea he threw so many picks late in the season and even in the playoffs
@@monedub9201 definitely top 3 best season and stafford was never recognized as much as he was until he got to the rams
@@idkthistaken18 that’s not true 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️(moving on)
@@Jerry____661 recognition vs elevated game… he’s playing in LA the biggest market 🤦🏾♂️😅😅😅
He's always been good, but people have completely lost their minds after last season.
vikings lost some games due to greg joseph vikes couldve went 10-7
TPS was too scared to put lamar jackson on the list.
Well said, the term used is 'overrated' & he's most definitely that, each year he gets worse & never improves his throwing dynamic, which is in dire need
@@gsam_dad5540 y’all are some real haters 🤣🤣🤣
Stop hating on him 🤣🤣
@@jinmori918 he is definition of overatted😄😄
Yea Henry helps tanehill tanehill helps Henry
TPS are some haters. I don't even like the Patriots but the fact that Mac Jones could game manage the entire season his rookie season speaks volumes. How about top 10 most underrated quarterbacks?
Make a video about the best defensive players of all time
Murray is far and away the most overrated. He’s not elite. He’s not a leader. He’s immature. Looked like he quit and didn’t even belong in the league in that playoff game. Not to mention he’s tiny and breaks easily. The cards will regret that contract really quickly.
Trevor can’t be overrated. We haven’t seen him play with a competent head coach
I clicked on this video literally because of the thumbnail 🤣🤣🤣
