Izzy Swan is quite a guy , a free spirit with an incredible mind for developing solutions that don't cost a fortune. But then your nail puller is a great edition - My problem is I like working with wood but hopeless with metal.
+Ronald R I agree, he's a lot of fun to watch and draw inspiration from. It just takes a little bit of practice, and a few mistakes along the way... Good luck!
great video and super idea. question: would it not be easier (and a lot less work) to make one of these starting off with an existing crowbar? Is that even possible?
+Felix Reali Yes it would be quite a bit easier starting with a crow bar. Though this is much longer (more leverage) than most crow bars. It was also really cheap for me.
+Felix Reali Another reason I do projects like this, which isn't always the easy way, is for skill building practice. That way when I build something complicated where measurements, angles and everything have to be perfect, it'll be easier.
I wish I had the tools to make this, but I have nothing that would allow me to produce this in metal and I don't think it could be replicated in wood? I'd be interested to know if you think it can and if so, how.
+plainwornout3 I'd have to measure it, it's been too long. Probably 1/2" x 1 1/4" because that's what I said in the video. I might have been thinking of some other material I was working with when I posted that reply.
Why not put a piece of smaller pipe or rebar (whatever) into the gap when you bend the main piece, then weld the pipe into the gap instead of just filler welding?
One of the most sanitary designs yet. Great shop tools too. GJ
+Matt Miller thank you!

Thank you very much Dave Williams!
Simple but brilliant 👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you!
All right!
It looked flimsy until I watched the video.
Made me think I've got several truck springs out back that might work well.
Nice job!!
+Tellok Bey thank you!

Nice! I'm surprised the flat bar for the shaft doesn't bend.
Thanks Mark Pikas! It's 3/4" thick so it won't bend easily, but there is a little flex at times.
A Modern Maker You said it was 1/2" × 1 1/4" in the video. Which is it?

+Dale Moore It doubled as practice welding for me. Definitely the way to go in a hurry though.
You need to patent your design, then find some one to handle the mass production for you. I would buy one.
Thanks! Feel free to use the design and mass produce it if you want.
I wish I could, but I don't have your mad skills with welding, and I don't have your cool equipment either! Great work though.
Lol I instinctually looked away from the arc before realizing a video can't hurt me
+Ben Edwards haha. Gotcha!
i did that too :-))))))))
Ben Edwards a
