I've been playing catch up in videos watching back to back Day in the Shop. They are the best thing to watch on TH-cam and especially when compared to TV.
A distributor wrench and timing light! Wow now you are talking my age and times. Not sure if my old Craftsman timing light still works, considering how long it has laid in the tool box. As always good video and commentary! Have a good day.
Maybe your shop should play the clean up song at the end of the day. Clean up, clean up, everybody, everywhere, clean up clean up, everybody do your share. 🤣I learned it in Kindergarden.
jimmy's got a timing light and a distributer wrench , brings back memories of the simple days when you pulled the vacuum tube off the advance pot to set timing .
The last time I used my timing light was on a 1997 Honda CR-V, about 2.5 years ago. The vehicle had almost 300,000 miles and ran great, just had the Ohio road cancer underneath!
Jimmy, I'd buy that Hyundai if I wasn't clear over here in Washington. My 96 Camry with 217K is getting weary. ***My wife complained about my sense of direction. I got fed up, packed my things, and right.***
Thanks Randy. The Hyundai replacement engine has the known issues updated also. So it will be a good car for a while, especially if well maintained now.
Kroil is really good stuff I've used that in rust belt Canada when I was a mechanic for Alberta snow plow highway trucks ,and I still use it for personal vehicles .
It's been taken everything.I could do to keep from laughing out loud,, you know the Tow truck driver did it... you called it Jimmy.. great video.. how in the heck are you supposed to go to bat for the person with it leaking like it was..
jimmy, that line went to a self adjusting suspension from the factory my ex brother inlaw had that it leaked. very expensive to fix. what we did was replace it with the stock factory shocks from the lower models. i guess they were lazy and did not remove lines from the old system! 🔩🔧🪛🛞 👍

Glad you like them!
That Honda has been through the mill. It will take a lot of money to make that new car status.
Yeah it is rough!
"The towing company did it!" SURE they did! lol Have a great day Jimmy.
lol, thanks Kathy!
Nice work on that ford focus turn signal, now we just need to teach people to use it
Yes please! Haha

Right on! Thank you Robbie! Got the DD card, much appreciated my friend! :)

Rofl, I wish!
That 4Runner appears to have had the factory XREAS suspension system, which they bypass when the lifted suspension gets put on.
Yeah it might have.

Ahhh, memories, haha.

Mine comes out for the occasional boat. Its prob been 3-4 years since I used it.
A rarely needed tool for sure!
When the Hyundai sells you can take the proceeds and buy the Mercede$.
Rofl, nope.
'Morning Jimmy! Hope it's a great one for you!
Morning! Thank you!
Ayeee Jimmmay! Another good one. That Accord has seen some shit.
Man it’s been thru it!
Thanks for the video Jimmy!
Any time! Thanks for watching!
Another Great day in the shop!
Haha thanks Scott!
It was 70 degrees here a few days ago. Right now it's 17 but feels like 8 with wind. Wanna trade, Jimmy? lol
Oh man, stay warm my friend!
Excellent 🫡
Thanks!
Torque the Like Button, and Subscribe, Jimmys videos are exceptional, you will be entertained, laugh, and learn something.
Much appreciated! :)
Love raiting of 1 for that poor Honda. I thought you were on an episode of Punk'd and someone messing with you to fix that car.
Man it was a bit ridiculous and I was looking for hidden cameras, lol.

Hyundai is junk and toy just needs love.

Hi Jimmy, Any experience with kroil Penetrating oil? I am looking for something better then pb blaster for seized suspension bolts.
Kroil is really good stuff I've used that in rust belt Canada when I was a mechanic for Alberta snow plow highway trucks ,and I still use it for personal vehicles .
@@oldbiker9739 Nice i am going to try out kroil especially since it works in canada rust belt.
Yeah the Kroil is good as is Deep Creep. There are other good ones also, but in Florida we don’t use as many as northern shops.
I refuse cars like the blue Honda. Will not touch them. No excuses.😅
Yeah, $300 car in need of $10,000 in repairs.
I thought those bolt on EFI kits had to be driven alot so that the computer can learn the system...if that makes sense 🤔...
They have an auto learn that takes some miles. You can also tweak the setting if desired.
@JimmyMakingitwork still on the fence about installing one on my old Pontiac....
Torqued at 212 TH-cam foot-pounds. You missed the awesome Varsk 4-in-1 vacuum cleaner/tire inflator at 30:51. I'm so far behind in watching your vids.
I will check it out, Varsk 4 in 1….hmmm. :)

You got that right, this thing has been broken for years. So neglected. Makes me sad. :/
You got no money so you buy a Mercedes. They don’t break right
lol
Jimmy broke the door handle on that piece of junk Honda LOL
You know it's gonna be a good one when Jimmy puts the 💩 paper in the thumbnail.
Rofl

What town and state is this shop? Seems to be alot of low-rent turds in the area.
Kissimmee, Florida. It was very nice not long ago.
That guy is just trying to get the towing company to pay for his worn-out car....................scammer!
Yeah, they denied his claim. 😋

The limited 4th and 5th gen have them. I removed my wifes when they started leaking at 70K. Xreas its called i think.
@markl753 i know it was pain in my a__ _ . doing everything on jack stands and jacks and race ramps.🤣
Oh cool, was hoping someone would know! You rock!
