Nice ! Tony The Goose is definitely a punchy work out 💪🏽. It’s a lot more fun with a group. Lots of off the dotted line stuff to play on plus great scenery 👍🏽. Glad to hear Pip is doing well keep us updated 👊🏽
Hey Outsider! Nice video. Yes Gooseberry is very ... interesting. I think the novelty of the terrain is a big attraction. I'm a SoCal transplant up in Central Coast but I went to Gooseberry 10-12 years ago but it was lots of fun just different. I gotta go again. Tony B.
When I lived in Colorado Springs, there was a good chunk of the year when a storm would whip up and rain every afternoon, like clockwork, but experienced road racers are immune to wet weather. Never done much mtb riding in the rain, mtb in the off season was only snow and ice :)
Gooseberry Mesa... uphill both ways! That's St. George's version of the slick rock trail! Love that ride! Challenging and awesome! Too bad you didnt make it to the ultimate appreciation station at the peak. The weather you saw is typical for that area when it rains, which isn't very often.
@@TheOutsiderMTB day one we road Jem the this one. Night and day difference on a trail right next to each other. Gooseberry was a brutal start but after a while was better.
its always easy to say afterwards.... but remember to ride the trail, not just hit all the dots!! there is a lot on GB that is just a few feet left and right of the dots to enjoy! nice vid.
Hey, I wish I just knew all that wonderful guidance without having to have wasted a lot of time tracing those damn dots. My girlfriend (very accomplished mtb'r) brought it to my attention as she was hitting a lot of great stuff, technical stuff.... while I was trying to build a constellation in the desert! I really did enjoy that vid.

Thanks John! Yeah - I can totally see that being fun with more riders.
“Outsider strong not weak” lol that was a good one!! Go get ‘em Tony
Haha 😉
Stunning ride Tony. Glad to hear Pip is making progress.
Thank you Mark!
All the best to pupper!! Hope to hear some good news next week. Cool ride too, looks super scenic
Thank you Garret!
Awesome video! Glad Pip is doing better! I Hope good news is coming your way on him. 🤙🏼
Thanks Mike - me too!
Only ridden Moab porcupine rim trail out there. Think you would love that. Luck with the weather, and thanks for sharing.
✔️👊
Your new equipment made it out alive! Thats a plus
Sure is!
Hey look up the sky, it's, it's...uh oh another rain cloud. Cool video!
That's pretty much my week! haha - thanks!

Thanks for sharing Robert - not a fan of rain riding myself.

Haha so true. And thanks for the info on this trip. I’ll be back soon with better weather Lee!
Another great video Tony!
Definitely doesn't look like a trail for a beginner like myself 🐥.
Still fun to watch :)
Thanks!
Great video Tony. Keep it up
Appreciated Vin!
Nice one Outsider! Going to hopefully be in Hurricane in September for some riding.
Sweet! Enjoy!
Pip power!✊. Sweet vid 👍👍
Thanks Ken - #PipPower!
Nice video! You should do a trail guide on the Wrightwood, CA trails in the future.
Haven’t ridden those yet. I’ll look them up. Thanks!
It's a fun place to ride. Last time I rode there, it was 110!
Very cool trail.
👊
what time of year was this? cant believe that parking lot was empty. I though this was a popular trail?
Late spring I think.
I hope you had a burger at the Apple Valley gas station! They are awesome and perfect after riding Goose or little creek.
Next time!
Awesome video
Thank you Niccolo!
I really struggled on that trail. It was a rough day and I ended up cracking my lens cover. There are a couple fun rock rolls out there.
Yeah I was unprepared mentally for this one. I learned pretty quick this would be a totally different experience than what I thought.

Gotcha - JEM was off limits from the rains. I’ll get that one next time for sure.
What new gimbal are you using now?
I was using the feiyutech gimbal but have a new EVO SS and Hero 7 I'm going to try out this week.
I thought maybe you ran into some A-Hole on the trail and got into a brawl!! Never been to this area of Utah. Looks fun!!
Haha the trail was the A-Hole! Thanks for tuning in! 👊
@@TheOutsiderMTB Cool.
