This isn't the most technical, awesome loop in the greater Hurricane, Utah area but it's absolutely worth doing if you have riding days to spare or you like-ah the pedaly endurance rides.

I take it back. Upon further investigation, starting and finishing at the lower Sheep Bridge Rd trailhead is the way to go. I fahked up!

As a native of Utah I appreciate you correctly pronouncing the name of the city of Hurricane correctly. I know it does t make any sense for it not to be pronounced the same way the storms in the ocean are, but it is what it is. Thanks for placating the locals.

No problem! I think it makes sense in that there aren't Hurri-canes in Utah ... just gusts of wind that blow the tops off buggies. Now I wonder if there's a "Tumbleweed, Florida," pronounced: "Toombleweed."

Camping and riding in Utah is the best! Easy access to trails, stars, beer and fire at night... what's not to love. Plus the sunrises there are epic. A group of us always camp on wire or gooseberry, you just can't go wrong in Hurricun!

We start at the bottom of the out and back, and do the rest of it in the same way that you did. That way you finish with a huge down hill and you do most of the climbing with fresh legs.

That seems like the right way to do it (if you're not camped by "China Cow Wash").

Whats up with the cows? Were you on a Ranch and didnt know it? I cant imagine cows just roaming around

Free range cows grazing on federal or state land leased by ranchers. Wicked normal out there.
