In the last round pure technical dominance was apparent. Let’s see, I think that gap has closed and now we can see some creative tactics and flight skills.
LR & INEOS in the final challenger series, not if Team Orient Express, have anything to do with it, this crew is in sync with their boat at this early testing stage, still though it is going to be any teams race to win.
Three very contrasting interviews! Very very interesting. All will develop up to race time, but clearly one team is rather further down the track than the other two. But 'now' is not so important - is it?
I'm surprised in the flex of the American rudder (forward/back motion) in the close-up, maybe they all do that, but i have not noticed it that much on others.
those of rudder rake adjustments to control the angle of attack of the elevator at the bottom of the rudder. This control the pitch of the boat and is critical for stable flight
@@oluja95cro Every object in the world flexes under load and if you put too much load on an object it breaks. If it doesn't break than it means there's a hinge point somewhere. Studied 5 years of engineering for this comment. fml

INEOS?

One of these interviewers sounds like Latka from Taxi.
Beautiful training day!
When I am at the helm, faster is feeling pretty right. No matter how bad it feels. I would think these guys would have the same attitude.

i am a fanatical kiwi i played rugby for west aust i really want the kiwis to retain the cup but luna rossa is going to be so hard to beat
I am from New Zealand I swam leisurely in various places around the country I don't know who's going to win
I played for Swanbourne, NZs got this.
I didn't play rugby, that's why Ineos will win 😂

More likely control than flex is my guess. Carbon doesnt like bending
Just wanted to add that carbon breaks at about 1% elongation so to me its unlikely its flex. Probably pitch control

@@woodandwaveskayakshow do you explain flexing of windsurfing 100%c mast?

2.5kW power per per person???? wtf??
That's what I heard too, that's insane peak power, like Olympic sprint track power! I can't imagine they sustain that for long but.... Wow...
Do they still call this sailing? I guess?
Can we get subtitles on these video's please
If you’re on an I-Pad you have access to that.
Subtitles work fine for me.
testing, testing, testing........I am so fucking sick of endless testing. HAVE A RACE.
This part of the Americas programme.
You sound a little testy
