MY NORTH ALGONQUIN TRIP | Access point #29 Kiosk lake

  • No drones were used in this video. Drones are prohibited in the park unless with special permission. I used a Wiral cam. Essentially a gopro attached to a wire.
This is the video of my 6 day trip exploring Algonquin Provincial Park. I started from access point #29 on Kiosk lake and headed south to Mouse lake and back. Just a little glimpse into some of the amazing views that can be found in the north part of the park.

Oh my! Young man, you brought so much joy to an old grandma's heart, with this beautiful video! The great Algonquin speaks for itself. But your photography and videography are superb! You will not ever know how sorely missed canoeing is for me, but I do spend a lot of time seeking out videos of canoeing, camping and fishing trips such as yours! so, I am thankful for the technology and even more thankful for your skills and your willingness to go that extra mile for folks like me! You know, setting up the cameras for the shots, filming, and the fantastic editing! Just doesn't get better!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Awesome trip.👍👍Many moons ago, my Dad and I did this route. We came from Little Mink to Waterclear to Whitebirch and stayed a couple days there on the site at the end of Whitebirch high up on the bank. Beautiful spot. We saw wolf tracks on the portage between WB and Club. I think the concrete structure was an old sawmill. On the portage between Club and Mink we came head to head with a young moose on the trail. All turned out well.
It was a great little trip for us uninitiated American canoeists. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Thanks for watching. KIHD stove works great👌, especially for a solo camper on an island or well used sites when wood is limited. I don't always have time to harvest firewood but twigs are always around. I searched the lake but the net didn't want to come home, gives me a reason to look for some new tackle.
