I have already booked Harrier, but after watching this video and reading your comment thinking of cancelling Harrier and buy Hexa XE, which is really VFM
Brother, both the cars have their own pros and cons but according to me Because is VFM for few reasons mentioned further.
Hexa has more space and it's a rear wheel drive and this is the main big difference. Though look of Harrier is stunning 👍

My goodness..Video is very informative and I really appreciate the intricate details highlighted about features; not many have mentioned them in their respective reviews. A short still with summary of price breakup of optional extras(from review car)in video would have been good.

If you get Hexa in good condition, can go for it. Even XE had decent features
Since Hexa is an extremely heavy car (more than 2 tons) , do you feel :-
1. any lag in XE ?
2. is the power sufficient to carry 7 people without any stress on engine ??

Here is your answer,
Till the first service you will notice little lag below 1500 RPM (only in 2nd and 3rd gear) but if you know how to keep the revs up in a Diesel car then you should be good to go. In the first service they do update the ECU and things get better after that. With 150 BHP you will never run out of power even with 7 people & luggage on hills. XE has a better low end torque and fuel economy than the higher variants. It gives 320 NM in just 1500 RPM where as the higher models give 400 NM over 1700 RPM.
Recently bought XE after considering all the - factors and as long as one remembers it being a full size SUV, definatly can be lived with. My initial drive from show room is 120km to my home town with 6 adults and a kid on board. The engine really felt dead in second gear even after full exceleration but am still happy with the amazing space & ride quality it offered on rural roads.

Do you experience any software issues? Like i have a tiago and sometimes its Bluetooth doesn't connect, and then window switches wont work, sensors stops working sometimes etc... Hows hexa? And awesome review brother 👍

Hexa is a wonderful car in this price point. We did not face any software issue in Hexa and Tiago. I have aftermarket pioneer system in Tiago, Bluetooth sometimes takes twice to connect but it might be due to phone as well. But window button and sensors should not fail, honestly we did not face such issue in Tiago and Hexa both.
Please get it checked with Tata team asap before it gets worsen.

Problem with tata vehicles is they are unreliable. I mean for some they would not be any problem and for others it would be a bag full of problems. Now it's ur luck where do u fall. Like for any Toyota vechiles you can take garuntee nothing would happen.
Tata is doing good but they will take few more years to rule the world. And they need to improve there services bcoz that is one hell of a issue.
I was confused btw hexa and Isuzu both are almost of the same price range.
But after reading other people review I just settled with Isuzu as it is Japanese. And so far everything is going superb.
Can i purchase second hand hexa xt 4*2 around 9 lakh? 52k driven...is it good purchase? What should be check point i should see when i visit to purchase second hand car?

Hexa got everything except a good engine as it is not reliable says by all mechanic because of tata service centres also....im using tata aria 2014 model..every vlogger says aria is having hexa same engine..but reality is layout is entirely different and its only said by tata service guy..without a reliable engine no car will get good sales..thats why tata outsource fiat engine from compass in new harrier and safari😢
I own an XM model for almost a year now but I was not aware that the trunk door can be closed with a very minimal force😁

Unfortunately no Brother, when I talked to the service centre last time, they told that it is not possible to change all the wiring for extra fittings, like defogger, wipers etc

Hello Brother! When did you purchase it? It will take a little time to be used too. We were getting somewhere around 11-13 initially and later it started increasing. Currently it's giving ~15 in the city and 17+ in the long trips.

Brother, it's an individual choice. Every car has few good and bad things.
We have done few expeditions with this car and we were happy with the performance and look and comfort is good already.
I would suggest you to take the test drive of all three cars then decide which one to go for.

Best example is Tiago, it revamped after Tiago, everything feels new. Noone will put money on old Tata but after Tata made changes people started believing and it's doing well in the car market 👍

Brother, 3rd row is not used much but it is a little hassle to fold the seats to get to the 3rd row but space is adequate 👍

Hexa offers you additional space and all front facing seats. Further Safari would still have rattling issues and what not but everything is refined in Hexa. If you just love the look of Safari then go with that else Hexa should be your choice by all means. Hexa also has better corner stability and comfort.

This one is XE Model. XE model has little better mileage because of little low torque, rest it depends what accessories you want in your car and also your budget. If you got the budget, go for the top model.

How much the alloy wheels and the 7-D mat covers costed you in XE model? What are differences in XE and XM?
Brother, 5 alloys costed 43k and 7D mat was bought from the local dealer for 6k wheras online price for 7D mat is approx 11k.

yes its good having circle drl lighting... also contact to tata regarding this they told that if you get xt drl lightings you may get internal wiring problems

How's the car to drive? Maintenance expenses etc?
Sir, car is really excellent to drive, steering, suspension, power etc everything is good and it's maintenance cost is also low.
I am not saying all this because I have Tiago or I live Tata but I am really happy to have it.
First service cost - 0, second service cost - 18(for the hook which was broken) third service cost ~ 1500.
How much did you pay for the Alloy wheel and did you upgrade the tyre size?

It is 43k for 5 alloys and Tyre size was not upgraded.
Where did u get the alloys...i asked tata showroom guys..and they say they have 16 inch alloys from safari which will fit hexa aswell and cost is around 8.5 k per piece
Some showrooms might have available or you need to tell them in advance so that they can arrange it ... We proactively told the dealer that we need alloys while taking the delivery

Where to buy interior mats?
Brother, 7d mats are bit costly online around 7k but you can easily get it for 4k in the whole sale market. Example - Delhi Kashmere gate car market.

My friend Prat has driven 3.5 k and gear shifting is not hard but it will take 3 to 5 days to get adjusted and after first service or 5 k, it will be buttery smooth. Actually the gear box and whole transmission is wonderful 👍

Hard gear issues were minimized after few days and Tata executive assured me that little bit hardness will go away after 5k or first sercixe.

It can be with the support of the frames but Harman already sounds fantastic and only drawback is no big touch screen.

I have stuck between " new hexa or used fortuner around 2012 model " and my budget is 15 lakh.
That a tough decision Brother.
Fortuner is totally a different car all together. It's wonderful but 2012 is too old for this price.
Please check all the features Hexa has (Hexa has tons of features at this price point) and take a test drive, I am sure it will help you decide. All the best 👍
