I like that you do the think-aloud strategizing in real-time as you reorganize things for each day. It helps me understand why you chose a specific layout for the automation. I also appreciate that you were willing to explore Overtimes and Franchises to help get the experience to unlock more content!
Love the videos! Your pizza automation was really good given the space you were working with. One big optimization you can make is to portion later in the chain to optimize the number of fully cooked pies. Utilizing the exact same space, you could have pulled a cooked pizza off the hob, conveyed it down, then portioned it at the last spot. Happy this series is continuing!
I wonder if you could have moved the portioned down after the prep station and had 4 pizzas ready to be portioned instead of on,y 4 slices stored.. it was a good one! This series prompted me to get the game myself and you make it look easy! Keep these coming
18:47 That was my work for 7 years every day at Boston Pizza lmao, it was nightmare somedays. Other days it was actually fun, depending on who else was in the kitchen.
You can replace every other smart grabber with counters in lines of 3 or more smart grabbers. For instance: Portioner > smart grabber > counter (or even a second prep station!) > smart grabber > counter/prep station
I think you should've held the pizza in your freezer until the morning rush. Seems like you have time to get pizzas going as soon as the day starts, then you're really pressured to get more cooking when the rush starts. Not sure if you would had time to run out and grab it though 🤷♂
Even though it was before the pizza nerf, you can look up plate up full pizza automation overtime 15 by skizol to see just what it takes to get there. The amount of customers gets absolutely ridiculous, you're not meant to go forever.
Tip for your convayers if you need them to go longer and are just using grabbers/ smart grabs a counter in between 2 convayers does the exact same. instead of using 3 you use 2 and a counter
Is there anything to stop you using the other rooms for auto-kitchen? Then just flip the table layout and cram the customers in to the tiny kitchen area?
@@Retromation mmmm I tried it out after saying that. It did ‘kinda’ work, but it made a similar issue having to keep a walkway open in the middle of the space. I didnt find the actual customers too much of an issue to be fair, more just that they exist 😂 Good effort anyway, cant wait to see the revisited franchise 👍🏻
To me It did get a bit old just because it's such a short game loop with little depth. Even more so with how much he played it in so many ways it just needs more at this point
You lost because you’re only allowing single customers!! If you let more ppl sit down the line wouldn’t be as long. Individual dining perk only does -1 maximum party size not literally dining alone
@@Retromation did you try to have more than 1? I may be wrong but I think it says that because you set all the tables to one. I saw the tables set to like 3or4 and the game seems to allow it but I haven’t you seen you try to set a table of 3or4 all game!
@@TheButPOV try looking at the group size when Retro puts a table to have 4 chairs, for being able to get out of the kitchen(I think it was his last PlateUp vid).

Health inspector: (lying ankle broken in a mess in the dining room) well the kitchen is clean keep up the good work robot!

54:20 there is a franchise card that converts the extra life from single use into per-day single use, so you could save it if that interests you
I appreciate the commitment to not getting rid of anything. Lol
I am a nightmare hoarder
So glad you’re continuing this series! Pizza automation was so satisfying
Who doesn't feel this moment after such a run when you walk around in the hub rambling just to handle just having lost XD. Wp btw

Now I'm conflicted, do i watch this now or do i keep playing my burger franchise run?
I actually questioned if the last level was doable at all based on the amount of people there seemed to be in line.
+1 for overtime fun!
I’d be sad to see the series go
i can only go to overtime 7 with full auto pie machine and super lucky run with 3 smart grabber + scanner + discounter from day 9
Oh and yes just passen the support
Pizza my heart 4ever
Where do you get this game?

The customers would have to walk through my "kitchen" space which is a nightmare

you're literally just wrong, please look at the left side of the screen at almost any point in the video to see "Possible Group Size: from 1 to 1" lol
