Hey guys, just to head off any more requests about the color change filament... Unfortunately we are not able to offer the color change filament as an option at this time. This is a pretty unique small batch filament and the supplier has been out of stock for months. We had enough left over from the ones we made for auction to make one for Luke, but that used the last of it. In the future, when it becomes available again, we will be doing special builds like this and putting them up as unique listings on our site. We will announce the builds on social media with plenty of notice so that everyone will get a chance at them.
do you know where i can buy a good quality tri color filament. it looks awesome and I'm designing a blaster and i think a tri color filament would look great for that.
Imagine someone taking the time to build a beautiful talon claw in a well lit studio while over in the corner some dude with a silly hat is chewing on ultra darts.

I have a Silverfox Industries talonclaw in metallic rainbow and it has only one fatal flaw. It's so pretty that I can't take it to games for risk of damaging it.
Love silver 🦊, out of darts, and foamblast. I never know who to support when I need supplies, so I literally roll a die to pick between the three. All three are great.
If ur looking for solid, Quality, tested and assembled Caliburns Silverfox is the place to go. Was recommended by Luke to have my Caliburn done by Silverfox and I can't be happier!
Thanks for the great post! This is such an exciting time in the hobby with Dart Zone & X-Shot stepping up big time. Thank you for highlighting another one of the best of the custom companies. I’d really love more videos from other makers in the hobby or even some behind the scenes video collaborations with Dart Zone and X-Shot. I don’t know if the foam flingers realize this, but videos like these which show the faces of people behind the products and their expertise not only help in a time of isolation but show the humanity of the hobby. The color changing is called iridescent. It looks REALLY good on cars.
I have a Talon Claw from Ryan as well and the print quality is so good! The build is rock solid. I'm finishing it off with a few extra parts and bits, but likely the best talon claw you can get
I have a dual extruder single nozzle printer, and you can get that same effect from mixing any other filaments. I only have a dual extruder, but there are triple extruder versions too. I like doing gradients, but each side of the print will look different through the gradient. It's a really cool effect, I love using it.

I’ve always wondered if out of darts, captain slug and more of the other known modders/3d printed nerf sellers were to Jain forces and design blasters, darts and attachments, could they beat nerf and worker.

That filament Is absolutely gorgeous! Do you know what the name of it is/what company manufactures it? That is one of the prettiest Talonclaws that I've ever seen! It really is a joy to watch Ryan work. Thanks for giving us a look into the process!

Creality Ender 3. I don’t have one but I’ve heard really good things about it
Does Silver Fox print in PETG or ABS? *Peers with great interest*
Not at the moment. PETG is a PITA to print and I don't really have that dialed in yet. ABS needs somewhere with ventilation, which is being built into our printing room in our remodel, but I don't have a space for it where it is currently.

Licensing Royalties?
So how does that work? cptSlugs releases his designs under the CCPubDomain license, so technically you can produce as many as you want even commercially and don't owe him any royalties. right? even without Direct Blessing.
I guess people give him some of the profits anyway just out of respect then?
I released the Caliburn under public domain, but all designs since then have been CC-NC. And there's always a gap between what is legal to do, and what is ethical to do. So licensing is mostly about courtesy and not obligation (or liability avoidance).
