Hello Everyone. Great video and thank you for posting it. I bought two sets of these for my 2023 F-150. Two for each lower control arm. During the same time I installed these, which were a breeze by the way, I also installed a 3 inch strut lift with more angled upper control arm. When I was done installing, I used an alignment kit that consisted of rotation plates. I noticed that after the lift, I ended up with negative camber. I adjusted the Moog adjustment lugs to pull the lower control arm in to get .01 negative camber. I know you mentioned out for lifted and in for lowered, but somehow I ended up needing to pull my lower control arms in to the max just to get the right camber. Anyone else experience this? Thanks again for the post and love the positive vibes from the comments!
This is the best alignment kit I've ever put on my lowered f150. Before the alignment was always being thrown off, now it's been perfect for months. BEST KIT EVER for lowered f150 trucks.
I’ve been looking for the solution to fix my alignment since I put my lift on about 2 years ago. Thank you for this! No one could figure out why my front end wouldn’t align properly. Definitely buying this kit
Bought a new f150 in January this year. March at 2k miles I put on a level and pro comp wheels and tires. Over the last 8 months I’ve had 8 alignments and nobody could get it right at 4wp, Ken towery and tire discounters all tried multiple times each and it either pulled right or steering wheel was way off center. And passenger side caster was always in the red on alignment sheet. About a month ago took it to bill collins ford dealer in Louisville ky. Tech got it closer than anyone else (caster in yellow) but suggested if it still wasn’t right to get these keys. To get it aligned perfectly and so it won’t move after hitting a bump or off road. Last few weeks I’ve noticed with every bump it would pull more and more right. So finally got these keys the other day took it back to him he installed them and warranties my alignment from a month ago free. and it hasn’t drove this good since I pulled it off the lot with 11 miles. Can finally enjoy driving my new truck again with no pulling and wheel strait as an arrow down the highway. Moral of the story is spent the $130 bucks on 2 sets of these when you purchase the lift or lower kit. Worth every penny.
Awesome input bro! Absolutely the best inexpensive way to fix your alignment issues AND make sure it stays put! This is an issue with most Ford trucks after its 1st alignment. When you lift or lower it puts even more strain at that point. You’ll be good now for sure! Make sure to subscribe for upcoming F150 vids! 💯
So I'm just installed this kit and had new tires put on and balanced. But I'm getting a left pull. I looked under. The left side is facing downwards and the right is facing out. Worth trying to tweak the left side out?
Bro this is such a good video. Thanks a ton for making it and including the link. Just replaced the front end on my truck and i was having a hard time doing the alignment. Ordered a couple of these kits.
So I got a ford f150 2009 with a 3/5 drop and the front tires are slightly cambered because of the drop will this help with the tires not wearing on the sides and take the camber away ?
You could install them without the vehicle on a lift. However the weight of the vehicle will move it from its current position and you will need an alignment after. This can also be easily installed by the alignment technician once its on the lift. 💯
I have a 3/5 belltech on my 2018 f-150. Belltech instructed to elongate that slot where the bolt sits by 1/2" towards the center of the vehicle for the alignment. Would that bracket still work if I do make the slot longer by 1/2"?
Great question, it will. Once you elongate the slot, mark and drill a new hole where the bracket tab can mount to inward of the slot (recreate the hole next to the slot like the factory). Hope that helps!
Some people open the slot inward a bit and drill a new hole to push it in slightly. I wouldn’t recommend it as the lower control arms will bind. Your best bet is to get upper control arms to correct your issue.
So you need two kits ? I have a 2006 and a 2.5 lift strut. This thing has always had bad alignment and recently replaced all front end and new shocks and want it align! Just had it down today and still pulls hard to right
I have a F150 2wd and getting ready to lower it and wondering if i should get these before i start on it. Im looking and i can find these but wondered if i need the bolt kit that adjusts on eache end of the bolt, so essentially 4 adjustments on each side of the truck. Do i even need the bolts kit? Or this kit you have is plenty sufficient?
@@rendiewmit86 this truck is lowered and these are a MUST! Some of those bolt kits are flimsy. These kits cost less and use the strong factory bolt. Remember to subscribe for more F150 videos! 💪
@@blur02 if you get a set get this set in the video. I used a different kind that came with bolts too and they are flimsy. I started to change to this kind but IHC said they're not needed for their kits. So I took the flimsy ones out and used the OEM bolts and nuts.
These came with a readylift i bought a while back for my 13, mechanic said id need them for alignment, dropped off at an alignment shop and found em all in the cupholder, assumed they only needed to use them temporarily id just stowed em away. Now i got some camber happening and glad to know this is likely my fix lol. Any specific torque? Thanks
They were there for a reason! Look at the area, you will see the bolt heads “slid” inwards. Have them add these and re-align. Torque to factory specs 💯🙏
I appreciate the video helped a lot, but I have a doubt, when adjusting the bolts does the front & rear bolts have to match the same? On both wheels the front bolt is all the way in and all the way out on the rear one. It seems good & alligned but it just doesn't feel right on my head I wouldn't want to put unnecessary stress on the arms.
Great question. Once installed, the alignment machine will let you know which direction (front or rear) goes. As my truck is lowered, all 4 are mostly inwards. There is no right/wrong way, if the alignment is in the green, thats where it should be. 👍
I have a 2WD 2017, i've really struggled with bad alignments and balance issues (22" Ford performance wheels). I put on new Falken Wildpeaks and got a fresh alignment and everything but camber is in spec, the truck still has, IMO, a pretty gnarly wobble above 70MPH. The tech at the shop said these bolts would fix the issue. My question is, do I need a set for each corner? Like 4 kits total, or does one set do front and one set do back?
Can you please explain to me, when you do your final torque do you applied on the nut or the bolt.. Usually I know torque go on nut... Please help me to understand this one . I appreciate.
So I plan on doing a 3/5 drop kit & I will using the factory control arms, strut along with spring. Will the Moog alignment kit work lowered with factory components? I would assume it but want to make sure. When you said we'd have to get a kit for the front & rear, does that mean on the front & backside of where you installed the kit? Just want to make sure I understood everything! Would really appreciate some feed back, thank you!
Yes, this will work for you. It works with all factory components. And yes, you need 2 kits for the front (on video) and back of the control arm. (1 kit per arm). Good luck with your build! 🙏
So this is probably an issue of different years and maybe entirely different styles of suspension, but the Moog kit I got said to install the new hardware in the reverse direction of the stock bolts. But good video, it helped me understand the new system, as the stoick bolts had no such aligning hardware at all.
no drilling needed at all? some of the other kits/videos show drilling the hole for the plate adapter in one of the spots needed..? also just curious would you recommend using thread lock with these or no?

You're trying to promote a product that crap good luck anyone with any mechanical knowledge no this is BS
I’m not promoting anything. This product helped me with a major issue and I wanted others to know about it.
Since you don’t explain yourself as to why it’s “crap” then I can only assume you have no experience with the product.✌️
