I see you finally posted your Chamonix video lol. I dont know if you remember introducing yourself to my wife and I just before you left Panier Des 4 Saison, we were the ones who ended up sitting at the table right in the middle of where your video pan of the restaurant. The food there was amazing and was at the top of my list for best food I had that week, along with Bizes, which is another awesome restaurant. just wanted to pop in and say Hi!.
Chamonix Mont Tremblant is a gorgeous destination to explore in Frances countryside ! The spectacular vistas of the Alps awe inspiring hiking routes and fantastic skiing options all contribute to the uniqueness of this area. Those who cherish nature and enjoy activities will discover a wide array of opportunities here whether it involves mountain climbing, hiking or simply unwinding amidst stunning scenery. It's a spot for anyone looking to appreciate the splendor of the mountains and breathe in the fresh air. I highly suggest it to anyone with a passion, for adventure !
Hi Dave , I have been following you since you moved to 🇵🇹 PT . I was wondering what had happened to you ! So glad you're safe and recovering ! You inspired me to visit Portugal and I'm finally going on my Birthday 9/13 🎉 I'm Cape Verdean American so Portugal is my heritage connection . Get well soon and do your Physical Therapy !
Is it possible that your videos/travels will scratch the itch that the great AB left me with? Its looking good so far. Im excited for the upcoming places. The claymation intro is awesome! Hope your back is all better by now. God Speed! ❤
Thanks for the content Dave and actually! I love the alps too. In a previous life I did a load of road cycling around Alpe D’huez, Galibier and Col de Madeleine. Missed out on seeing Mont Blanc and enjoyed this post. Excited about these adventures and hope the back heals up well. Rem
Good to see you again, Dave. I really enjoyed your Portugal vlogs and miss them. re current video: I think you would appreciate the Austrian Alps even more - they are more hospitable and cheaper, although not so high. Also, for those of us who are not on the Imperial system (as is most of the world), it would be good to have some metric measurements included. All the best for your future endeavours!
Great video.. Looking forward to what you’re going to put out about less traveled areas of Europe.. Some more European ski intel would be helpful too. Thanks
Hi Dave loved seeing this and totally don’t ski or anything😂! We’re moving to Portugal from US soon and hope to explore Europe. Definitely putting the alps on my list!
@@daveinportugal Thanks so much! It’s always helpful when travel videos include a place was visited so we know what time of year to plan a trip if we want to have similar experiences. Congratulations on your content shift! This was a great video!
Take care of that back Dave, great video, I adore France and you! Must say you seemed a bit off, hence you noting the back brace.... Hard to rest and stay put when we want to move and not be in pain, I feel for you. A speedy recovery you will have!! Keep your chin up and thanks for an awesome video!
@@charlenefritz Yes, I hope it heals soon! Moving is a beast! I just injured my knee moving, and can’t hike, which I do/did daily. (I moved to cut my living expenses by 65% to hasten saving for my move to Portugal.)
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR Me and my family went there in 2018 (summer) and to this day we still talk about how much we loved that town and how GORGEUS it is❤ Portuguese here
Sorry you hurt your back. Really miss your great opening from Portugal with you instead of clay model. Not a snow/mountain person, so this wasn't a favorite video: not places we're interested in visiting. Not a partier either.. Looking forward to more Portugal videos.
I have many great memories in Val d'Isère and Charmonix! La Grande Motte and its crevices scared the heck out of me, but the vastness and beauty were immense!!
Was in Geneve in 1977 for three days… I did not appreciate heroin addicts buying and shooting up in the park around the lake. Drove up to Chamonix…..went under the tunnel….dripping water all the way and into Italy. As an avid skier….my favorite activity…i skied 345 DAYS over the last three years, i would love to ski Chamonix….but the costs kind of suck sausage… Skiing is skiing…. No thanks

Why don't you change the channel name to "Where on Earth is Dave?"..
If you listen to the first minute he says the channel name is changing in October. Not sure why it has to wait, but it’s in the plans…
great idea

Heey, i'm in Chamonix! Do you think Grand Montets will be ok for an intermediate skier? I can manage but i'm not a pro
We’re planning to go to Alvarez, what do you think of the town Quarteira?
When were you there? Like recently? Like in summer? (I'm sweating to death in North Carolina!)
Visited before summer in the spring
