- The American Symphony Orchestra - a houre group probably conducted by Cesare Sodero - plays the Prelude to Act 1 of 'La Traviata,' recorded in New York on 25 June 1923.
I transferred this side from Edison 80753.
I enjoyed this.
Thanks and best wishes from George
@georgejohnson1498 Thanks George.
Wow! Thanks for sharing one of my favorite musics in opera. I've learned so many great singers and songs from your videos. Btw, I was desperately looking for Rococo recordings of Mdm Kerstin Thorborg which contains her only recordings of her amneris and so many unpublished recordings...I was so desperate for that recording but I couldn't find it anywhere. But recently I've found it on the internet. Could you purchase it and share the whole recording with us please? I'm so sorry for asking😢 but Mdm Thorborg is my Idol since I fell in love in opera 3 years ago and I'm only 17 years old, and I can't afford a money to buy good record players...And I had planned to buy it and share it on my youtube channel when I become an adult, but I realized that I can't share it in good sound quality. Your videos however, has the most beautiful sound qualitys among youtubers who post Lp musics.. It is also cheap..only 4 euros. Sorry if I was acting rude, and sorry for my bad english. I want you to give the URl, but youtube constantly erases it. Once again, I'm very sorry for asking..😥
You may find an internet shopping place in Japanese if you search it on the Google like this,
Rococo recordings, KERSTIN THORBORG PIECES BY GLUCK VERDI ZANDONAI SAINT SAENS AO
Thanks: and I'm glad you enjoy the recordings here. I'll see what I can do about posting some Thorborg recordings. The Rococo transfers are now very old: but I can probably find some Thorborg recordings to share here!
@@vintagesounds3878 Thanks!❣️
Fantastic! Thank you! do you have the Ebrides overture or Saint-Saens baccanale?
@Piddo72 Thanks! Unfortunately I don't think I have either of those.
