You might not see it, but we were vibing really hard. The whole seat row was bouncing. It was hard to keep the camera steady and the stabilizer made it really hard to prevent the panning. To be honest I recorded this just for myself. You should be thankful to be able to see this here instead of critizising someone who tried to watch the show and record it simultaniously.
@@StrayFire Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that a recording exists. Thank you. What I was getting at is that if you had rotated the phone 90 degrees so that it was horizontal, there would have been no need for panning.
@@goffydude Ah, thanks for clearing this up. As I said, it was not my intention to share this with TH-cam, but only with my Family on WhatsApp. And for this app the format I chose is better suited. I just thought to myself, that it must have been since the Octavarium tour that I am hearing SoC for the first time again and so I kept recording.
It's not easy to performance these songs , especially your age is getting 60 , physical technique will not as good as young , indeed some part of the song sounds sloppy , but I still respect they keep playing although the age getting older
What’s with the dead crowd?! That’s what’s wrong with live shows in general - people either standing there like zombies or recording with their phones.
They are paying attention to the music and taking it all in. I was there. There was enough life in the crowd at the right moment, including large groups jumping during Pull Me Under. And so much singing along that you could hear it over the PA to a degree that you even understood the lyrics. Videos can't do the experience justice. You need to be there.
@@romancecak1036 MM did a great job, with exceptional work ethic and personality traits. He kept the band alive at a point that could easily have become their end. We should be grateful about his contribution. This is not a case of either MP or MM. Only with BOTH, we get to have a DT at all today. And yet... this right here is THE absolute main lineup and it was noticeable in the energy and the music. The album will tell the rest of the story. I will stay non-hyped but cautiously optimistic that it'll be the first one in 10 years that I listen to more than once. Actually I think I never heard more than one song from the last one.
@@erikverf1604 yes I do. I have been to 10 DT Shows and this phenomen was very present on the last 2 Shows so there is definitely a problem with their sound guy
Thanks for putting this up! Portnoy is so solid and his Tamas sound GLORIOUS!
If only there were a way to capture the whole stage at once without having to pan left and right continuously...

I’m floored by JP’s solo. As he’s been getting older, he’s unfortunately a bit more sloppy. But it looks like his chops are in shape here!
His phrasing has definitely taken a hit as he got older but he also kept playing more and more difficult solos.
JP needs to work on his tap dancing!

this a common sight at DT shows

you answered your question, no?
People don’t go see DT play 20 minutes pieces to drunkenly headbang and scream lmao the hell you on about
So what d u gonna do at a dt show? Moshing in 11/8 or 15/16
A impressão que eu tenho é que Portnoy e Petrucci estão bem fora de forma.
You are out of shape.
Mike Mangini 🙏❤️
Wrong Mike my guy

Who??
Give it a shot. 2021 album was awesome. @@PaddyFullyRandom
@@GeoffreySplaneChannel My love for DT has beem revived over the last few weeks. I will go over everything start to finish.
Sound is horrible, guitar is always too loud and no kick drum audible ...
Are you really judging sound from a phone recording? rofl

Horrible? Sound was great! Stop spreading bad vibes!
