You appear to have become an Internet sensation for the "tie your shoelaces tighter" scene 😅 that legendary film experience was popping up in my newsfeed the last few days ....fame at last 😂👊💪 xx
I only learned about fell running a couple months ago... living in England, I feel that I eventually need to increase my tolerance to running in boggy conditions... I get all the threading and biggest lugs I can get, but hopefully will get my "clergy mud feet" in eventually
Ha! Fell running is definitely part mindset. You’ve got to dive into the first puddle and then keep going from there! Northumbrians seem to be particularly good at it!
Another top video, that looked brutal - I laughed way more than I should have done at your misfortune with the ‘lost shoe’ incidents! You still managed to get the ‘winning number’ and ‘gin and tonic’ catchphrases into the recording. That’s a wrap!
You're right Al fell runners are a different breed to us mere mortals.it looked hard but the scenery is amazing I felt your pain sitting on the sofa with a cigar and a bag of revels.thanksagain.😂
I live in Sheffield Al but i am a born and bred geordie.the lads at work talked me into some fell races in the peak district so I know how you felt on the pendulum.
Brutal, but stunning at the same time! I hurt watching it, but would also love to do it, then again, it's a long long way to get to from Oz. (aka, easiest excuse...)
Ha, that’s no excuse! Although that would be some adventure from Oz to Northumberland! It was a really good event, the harder it got the more fun it was!
You really struggled getting your shoes out of that muck!😂 I had a good laugh again at your expense!😂 Good on you guys for finishing that! It looked brutally hard! Cheers🍺 👍🇨🇦
Haha, honestly it was great. Clearly rock hard but I really liked it because of that! Became a bit of a bucket list event… that’s the Cheviot conquered!

Haha, here’s me thinking I’d be known for winning the Barkley Marathons! Ah well, you take what you can get!
Brilliant video Al. 👏👏
Thanks for coming along. 😎
Was great seeing you again.
Will be in touch with your next mission! 😉🤣🤣👍
My pleasure guys! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Ha, it can’t be harder than this one can it?!
I am so glad I’ve stumbled across this. Fantastic content.
Hey Mike! Really appreciate it, thank you!
I want to do that race. Looks awesome
You’ll have to sign up for next year! Would be really fun seeing your take on it!

🤣🤣👌👌 superb! (and thanks for showing the medal!) 🙌
Haha, you’re welcome! Luckily I remembered as this is a particularly nice one! Super shiny!

Haha, you’ve summed it up rather well there! Thanks mate!
That has absolutely happened to me before! Where did my shoe go??? 😂😂😂😂
Haha, it’s a right of passage for fell runners isn’t it!
You're right Al fell runners are a different breed to us mere mortals.it looked hard but the scenery is amazing I felt your pain sitting on the sofa with a cigar and a bag of revels.thanksagain.😂
Haha, mate that sounds class! What are you washing that down with?! Whisky? Beer? Some sort of energy drink?!
Great vid fella, was a great event. Had 4 days off running this week as quads were trashed from the downhills.
Thanks mate! The downhills are equally as hard as the uphills! Different challenge, different muscle groups! Well done!
I live in Sheffield Al but i am a born and bred geordie.the lads at work talked me into some fell races in the peak district so I know how you felt on the pendulum.
Absolutely different beast isn’t it! Cross country looks tough enough for me, this was extreme sports meets running!
Top video as always mate. Looked brutal!! But one I strangely want to have a go at!! 🥴
Thanks mate! I’d recommend it! The harder it got the more fun it was!
Steep hills, who’d have thought it 😂 That looked good tbf.
Haha, I knew it would be hilly but totally underestimated just how hilly it would be! Great fun though!
@@AlPepperRuns I was gonnae walk up there the other day, we were in Morpeth, did a coastal walk from High Newton to Craster and back instead 😂
Brutal, but stunning at the same time! I hurt watching it, but would also love to do it, then again, it's a long long way to get to from Oz. (aka, easiest excuse...)

Stop what your doing… Al Pepper upload 🎉
Haha, thanks mate!
It was great fun wasn’t it! You take your life in your hands running down from the Cheviot and Hedgehope
Particularly the speed some of them were running down it! Into gale force cross winds no less! But yeah… a whole lot of fun!
You really struggled getting your shoes out of that muck!😂 I had a good laugh again at your expense!😂
Good on you guys for finishing that!
It looked brutally hard!
Cheers🍺 👍🇨🇦
Cheers mate! 🍻 I couldn’t believe how stuck it was! That first few km took so long! Was solid!
Well done Al! Was a tough run! Great video!
Thanks Neil! Appreciate it!
Jeeeez mate that was brutal just watching! Well done boys!
Thanks Jono! A hard shift no doubt but a lot of fun!
Brutal 🤯 well done Al 👊🏻
Thanks Ian! I’d be interested to see how quickly you could do it! Reckon you’d be really good at it!
Love watching your videos and many a time I have thought wow I would like to have a go at that one. This video wasn’t one of them 😂
Haha, honestly it was great. Clearly rock hard but I really liked it because of that! Became a bit of a bucket list event… that’s the Cheviot conquered!
Painful....but think about the bragging rights.
Definitely! I’ll be subtly dropping it into conversation over the next few weeks / months! Did someone say Cheviot?…
