no it doesnt. Otherwise i would not have published it 🙃 its thick cast iron. i wouldnt do it with just alloy BUT also saw and heard of alloy being ok. Still wouldnt do it 😄
@@FreakMoPed8 OK thank you! I'm tuning a 208 cast iron Polini. I have enlarged the transfers at its base, +% exhaust port, cuts for better cooling and tomorrow I will cut the wall and install a Grand Sport piston. My doubt was because I had never seen an aluminum cylinder with that cut in the bottom of the cylinder and I didn't know why.
@@FreakMoPed8 thanks I've been offered and old cast iron one and need the head,SIP recommended the MMW one. Don't want to run into problems and you seem to have an angle on it hence my question, great videos extremely helpful keep up the good work! Cheers.
wichtige wåre den miserablen asso kolben loszuwerden, gs kann sicher bald wieder liefern, ansosnten tuts jeder (auch gebrauchte) malossi kolben. dann steuerzeiten und auslass sauber einstellen, da geht einiges!
@@FreakMoPed8 bin nicht der beste Zylinder Bearbeiter. Wollte auch nicht amlzuvieö machen sollte aifjedenfall noch verbauchsarm sein und trecker Charakter haben

I fitted the polini box exhaust you recommended. Noticeably louder and lots more power in the mid rang. Very happy with your advice.

u dont need to do it. i just did it for fun. its gonna be fine without it of course!

i guess mmw does offer a head over sip? i would go for this one. but good point let me take a pic, comparing the roof design of both pistons

hi,I am using a polini cast iron 208 and the piston is already weak, can you give me the best tolerance rebored cylinder using grand sport piston 68,5

65% auslass, 190-200 einlasszeit, aber nur bei 0,05mm ds toleranz

Meinst du es macht sinn den bbt mal gegen ne Polini Box zu tauschen ? Liegt noch hier rum
kannst ja wem geben ders kann? da geht schon was
polinibox ja 1) weniger lärm (bbt klingt schrecklich) und 2) höherer krümmer
