  • whats the BEST TUNING for vespa 200? in total 33 kits & so many different info online... 🤔
    these are my recommendation based on 20y vespa tuning. with the typical FMP approach: BEST value/hardware for you hard earned money. focus on the hardware. not matter which brand.

    ABOUT AVAILABLE INFO
    a) it often is just singular info, based on 1 engine, where the type you own of course is THE BEST and a comparison with other options is missing.
    b) & there is the missunderstanding that shop article info texts are taken as true and honest, forgetting that the 1st focus of all is: to sell things and make profit, not to inform you (technically) correctly ;)

    I found that 6mm hose works best. Not fastest but when tank low 8mm don't give enough pressure. It is strange but true. Both my scooter 172 and 221 has 6mm hose. Oh yes if you have oil sucker you can smell it when scooter running. Most importantly to check oil level. If your scooter does not smell like someone cutting grass but smell like old car. Oil burner ❤

    This is good news, I am literally picking up my PX200 this Saturday with a brand new Malossi 210 Sport, swapped the JL pipe to a SIP road 2. Lets see how it goes for 6 months then maybe split case and go the 60mm crank option.

      Original crank? before longstroke get a better box, the sr2 is outdated, see my gsf dyno curves on my fb page.

      sure! if crank is ok i usually use it, cause it has the needed rotary valve tolerance of 0,05mm provided, with a replacement crank its sometimes a bit of a lottery, if it fits so well. just extend intake timings on the cheek a bit and MAX to the back in the case
      a well done 57mm stroke, runs better than a sloppy plugged together 60mm.

    No no no.... A good Vespa px 200 comes from lower RPM. Polini Aluminium 221ccm Drives Like a 250 Vespa. 👍

      exactly! thats why sport is the best.
      torque AND reving if u want to 😜 and trust me, you want to.
      tuning is not just like original with a bit more, both worlds are possible.
      a well done sport 221 is a gts300 killer 😉
      polini with its still 80ies oldsvhoolnport design (..) is outdated since 2014 when
      the newly designed malossi sport was provided.
      but pure polini fans will never acknowledge this, i know 😉
      and its totally ok 🍻👌
