Poor grandparents. He’s a sinful human like we all are. Capable of anything. When he was little you likely didn’t think he was capable of growing up into a brat either.
He was definitely guilty but very manipulative and persuasive enough to the jury. He looks like your typical innocent dude but really the opposite. The evidence and stories didn’t add up. He also knew a lot of detail of the “crime”. Showed no real emotion behind losing his parents either. Way too much evidence.
After watching videos of the trial & evidence...I think he is guilty. Sometimes it’s not what a person says, it’s what they don’t say that’s suspect...he never expressed grief about losing his parents, nor anger for the “intruder” who did it. His focus has been on his self and his image. He seems narcissistic maybe even sociopathic which would explain his calm demeanor. The fact that he was allowing his defense try to frame his brother is so telling about his character. And would explain why he called the brother 1st before he called 911, hoping he would be on the scene when police got there. and why wouldn’t he go check on his sister to see if she ok? He woke her after the police told him to.
He is def a sociopath the closing arguments told the story, love how the defense used AJ atty paper to say yes the alarm was working so were the motion detectors they didn’t bet on the motion dectectors capturing movement and time. He called the police AFTER he went to their room 31 Minutes later.....if I find my parents dead and my sisters room is on the same floor why wouldn’t I check on her or even wake her up and we both go to the closet to hide and call the police he didn’t do that! Shot his mom in the head back of ear, he couldn’t look at her and she never saw it coming... then shoot his dad in the head... he did it and the sister either knew or helped. She is the only one that even cried I feel they should focus on her she will prob break and tell.
"No, Never, Never," he is speaking in pass and future perfect tense. When asked if he killed his parents. He answered "No" meaning, "Don't try and get me to tell on myself and "Never, Never" meaning i will never tell on myself in a million years.

When I saw him on 20/20 I thought maybe they got the wrong person and possibly just needed to find a fall guy! After reading and going through comments and researching.. he very well could be very Quilty and possibly his sister that was never held liable. My son is 16 and can’t began to imagine him being this evil or studying plans and ways to Murder anyone! I believe this takes a very demonic soul to kill without sue cause! These kids had everything and 2 parents! Something most kids dream of the all American wealthy well known dream family!! I’m definitely keeping my eyes open for the newest trial 2/23
20/20 was very irresponsible in their reporting and left out significant information, and have misinformed millions of viewers with the airing of that show. Yes Indeed, he tries to make himself perfect and say the right words to make people think he's innocent but dude is not. He was upset with his parents & was a spoil bratt who felt entitle to everything even if it took his parents life. Poor grandparents. He’s a sinful human like we all are. Capable of anything. When he was little you likely didn’t think he was capable of growing up into a brat either.
WE ALL ARE SINFUL BUT WE ALL DONT KILL BOTH OUR PARENTS SO STOP THE BS
He was definitely guilty but very manipulative and persuasive enough to the jury. He looks like your typical innocent dude but really the opposite. The evidence and stories didn’t add up. He also knew a lot of detail of the “crime”. Showed no real emotion behind losing his parents either. Way too much evidence.
doesnt look like someone who lost loved ones at all!
G Johnson Total sociopath. I agree with your comments. Ugh.
Faith Love & Dreams Yesssss! I can't understand how this is not crystal clear to folks. Every word he says is about him. He sounds so detached .
@@deehowe4141 just saw he had a baby boy Dec 2020 with the girlfriend his IG is AJ_Armstrong
Faith Love & Dreams Whaaaaa??!!!! Look at that. Hmmmm. Thanks for the updates!
"No, Never, Never," he is speaking in pass and future perfect tense. When asked if he killed his parents. He answered "No" meaning, "Don't try and get me to tell on myself and "Never, Never" meaning i will never tell on myself in a million years.
So guilty, doesn’t even try to show any remorse or care about who actually killed his parents, he’s more excited about getting the trial over with, and resuming his life.
Ask him if he is looking for the killer. I BET NOT.
He’s definitely guilty. No signs of an intruder. His family is trying to protect him.
Your an idiot!!!
@@cblux8074 it's you're, idiot. Smh
@@omniking9631 For both of you idiots if I’m such an idiot why isn’t it not plausible that the daughter did it? Is it because he’s a black boy? Because you automatically assume it’s the guy? Exactly
I believed he was guilty from day one. Now that I've watched this video, I KNOW he's guilty!! When she asked him if he killed his parents,he responded,no,never, never. He couldn't even say "I would never kill my parents"
😂 exactly what I noticed
The only innocent one is the 12 yr old sister. My prayers go out to her only.
bad statement
They all know who did it lol even the sister
Guilty, is what AJ Armstrong is.
He gave interviews more than this one and said the reason he was talking was because he thought people wanted to hear from him. Yes. People do. But he did not have the guts to speak in court on the stand.
Not about guts. Followed his lawyer advise.
The opposition team would have mauled him....
Ugh, I call BS lady. “Honestly, I don’t think about the question did he do it”… “Surprised prosecutors wanted the footage”, but then says “people don’t understand how important these exclusive interviews can be”-
She admits talking to him for less than 30 min over a 4 year period. I got zip from this so called investigative journalist.
Finally justice served.
I have never been affected this much by any case. It's chilling to listen to him speak because he appears so calm and always has an answer for everything. But, start a fire in the house, and can't name the person that was there with him when he fired the gun in his room before the murder. This makes ZERO sense. He is also so so strange in the way he speaks. He is probably a total sociopath. There is no other explanation for this. There is also so much blame. He doesn't seem to take responsibility for ANYTHING>
He is 100000000% a sociopath
This brudda did it
1000000% sure he did it.
Seeing his parents pictures in the morgue during the trial- mom shot first gunshot behind the ear, dad in the head...sad really sad....
I believe he did it and his sister helped after the fact or was involved. Or they know who did...
He lied sooo many times, if you haven’t watched the closing arguments of the trial go look at it so much evidence originally not known and it points to him.
GrandParents are in denial, AJ and his sister is all they have left of course they will fight for them. Also, there is A LOT of money the children stand to gain, instant millionaires....
He did it alone ,sister was sleep.
@@KDRRR711 FACTS
Do know if the whole trial was on video ? I read where it wasn't. I wondered how you saw the closing arguments.
Thanks
He sent a message when he shot his mom in the head twice.
He’s officially guilty as of today because he answered saying “no, never, never”. A singular “no” would have been believable. Because the word never 😂 is a consistent thought 💭
This guy is guilty
The facts don't lie he is a monster 👿he manipulate his family 👀

No mystery. Listen to both closing arguments and tell me how much mystery is left.
They say his brother did it
I haven't heard anything about the oldest child, the big brother with the drug issues ( reported by little sister) I wonder if AJ was covering for his brother?
Lol, AJ did it and the brother wasn't in the house. Check the evidence instead of defending a murderer dumbass.
@@visiteurvisiteur7301 so you call him a dumbass for just stating his opinion but I guarantee if you were in front of him, You wouldn't call him a dumbass, this really shows your maturity level 😬
If he didn’t have any gun residue on him and his DNA wasn’t on the gun, he might be innocent. Maybe the brother did do it and not AJ
@@chasg8183 He had gun residue on the right side of his shirt, explain that idiot. No fingerprints on the gun because he used gloves or he clean it after using it. Again, check all the evidence of the case dumbass.

There's a major difference between covering for someone... Or to take the blame for someone...

This interview was about Courtney not the case!
He did it
New Trial starts February 2023. I’ve just learned about this story tonight due to this kid being interviewed on 20/20. I began researching and was struck immediately by his body presence.
I've followed this case for years and want justice for Mr. & Mrs. Armstrong because he clearly did this, and it was absolutely sickening to see ABC paint him as a sympathetic figure. Anything for ratings and let the truth be damned! Smh
AJ IS GUILTY ASF
@@teddyjam8134 AJ tried to paint a picture of innocence; not 20/20.
TRIED.
EVERYTHING AJ said was a lie and BS. His body language spoke volumes.
Good news he’s officially guilty as of today after his 3rd trial
He did it. I watched the trials and he is definitely guilty. The evidence in the prosecution and the fact that all doors were locked and him inside, it’s obvious. Guilty as sin.
So TRUE, I watched it too and he is 100000000000000000000% guilty.
Yes Indeed, he tries to make himself perfect and say the right words to make people think he's innocent but dude is not. He was upset with his parents & was a spoil bratt who felt entitle to everything even if it took his parents life. He started the tears to make others feel sad for him.. when she asked did you kill your parents, his response was never, never.. his answer should have been No! By looking into his eyes, you see evil, & a liar.. who needs help mentally. He will kill again if he gets away with his parents murder. YOU PEOPLE KNOW HE KILLED HIS PARENTS & WON'T FIND HIM GUILTY, SHAME ON YOU ALL.... GOD SEE'S EVERYTHING AND HE WILL HANDLE THAT BOY,

He was found guilty today during his 3rd trial
She is a politician … do you think that he did it? Why bring that question up if you are going to just talk in circles
I also believe his guilty
They put it up because there is zero and I repeat zero right for them to hold possible evidence in a Capital Murder just for you to grow your career. If they had refused the DAs office would have just gotten a search warrant and came for the footage. I love how she fully admits she is more worried about her interviews and her story ie her career than she is about two people being dead
She reminds me of the reporter character "Gail Weathers" from the original Scream movie. Some reporters love cases such as this because it elevates their own celebrity.
She is also disgusting
I don't think he'll last too long in prison.
IT HAPPENS MORE OFTEN THAN YOU THINK, REMEMBER BART IN SUGARLAND TRYING TO KILL HIS WHOLE FAMILY MIRACULOUSLY FATHER LIVED

Not at all...she was a 12 yr old child

This is what is wrong with reporters. Yes, it actually is about weather or not he killed his parents. It’s not about the story unfolding in front of us. Perfect example of today’s reporters who really value sensationalism over uncovering the truth, and reporting facts. Bravo lady ... not.
I cant stand her tone or voice
If no signs of an intruder, and only the family knew where the gun was I guess, it's just those who lived in the house.. then who did it and why he/ she did it..If the family was such a happy family ... I don't understand who did it why they did it

Is he living off his parents money? His parents were very successful. He isn’t. Not on the road to be successful that is for sure. He was jealous perhaps. Angry. Very angry. Parents were killed with dad’s gun that was in the house. Let’s get real. He had gun residue oh his shirt. He is a perpetual liar who had potential and was driving his mom and dad crazy.
