I love your videos!, They are refreshing and not influencer style they have so much good info and are entertaining. What selfie stick do you use? How do you not get it in your footage or do you edit it out?
Great job on the hike, and the Hawaiian rolls are so good! Since you like to hike and do adventures away from Disney, I highly recommend the national parks in southern Utah. The closest one, Zion, is about 2.5 hrs from Vegas, and is a very easy drive. There are four national parks and at least one state park that are to the east of Zion. The parks all sit in a row, and are very easy to get from one to the other, and are about 1 - 2 hrs apart. The drive from one to the other is also spectacular. Zion is probably the most popular due to two very popular hikes. The first is Angels Landing. I can see the two of you climbing to the top. The other popular hike is The Narrows - so stunning. About one hour east of Zion is Bryce Canyon. At the main viewing point, when you look out onto the hoodoos (rock formations), all you can say is ‘wow.’ The furthest nat’l park to the east is Arches, also very stunning. All parks have a number of trails that vary by length and difficulty. Other very popular places in the area include The Wave, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley and Horseshoe Bend. And of course there is the Grand Canyon. That whole region of southern Utah/northern Arizona is so beautiful and worth exploring. During lockdown due to Covid, the nat’l parks became very popular, and still are, so reservations are often needed to enter; this is to control the crowd level. If you visit the parks for two or more days, it might be worthwhile to get the park pass; it pays for itself. (I can’t remember if it gets you free entry or greatly reduced entry to any national park in the country for a year.) Since southern Utah is desert, it can get hot during summer - but no humidity, so start your hikes early and to beat the crowds. In winter, it snows, so The Narrows is not a hike you’d want to do. The colors of the rocks change throughout the day based on the sunlight, so worth visiting a vista point at different times. I think you’ll find these parks as incredible as I did. Be sure to Google their images for context, and TH-cam for the two hikes in Zion. Check out the parks’ websites for more details on park entry and attractions. There are some nice, small towns at the entrance of the parks. And, everyone flies into and out of Vegas, so you could easily get to/from LA, Florida, or the UK, with Vegas as your base.
Thanks so much ☺️ we have actually done all of those National Parks and hikes before we started vlogging 🙊 they are all stunning! Maybe we will go back one day and take the camera 🙊
