    The skates look awesome. I mean, they're black. Can't go wrong with black. Love 'em.
    86a sounds good too. I've never skated Powerslide skates, I love my Seba's, but these look very nice. It's all about the fit though, I'd have to try some out. I've been using my 110 wheel skates more (I'm too short for 125's), really enjoying them, and been working on my transitions, feels good! I feel I'm getting better every time I skate, loving it. Have fun rolling, friend. How's the ramp working out? Is it finished?

      Johro's Inline Skater Channel thanks dude :) This are 100%fitness skates .. perfect to skate / exercise .. you know but if tricking is the goal, don't use V's or SWELLS ;)
      The ramp needs a layer. I'll put mesonite, but it's rained for a few days so I'm waiting on it a bit. So I can put it on and give it the last treatment 👊🏼💥

      THE LINO LIFE ah yeah.. Recreational. Shame , they look nice. Did you check out the Powerslide Tau three wheel skate with the Trinity Katana frame? It's rockerable too. Awesome skate, for freeride, slalom, everything.

      Johro's Inline Skater Channel the TAUS are awesome! But the previous version didn't fit my right foot ... my the one I broke a few years ago... it's defective with a huge bump on the outside and most skate dont work . Specially Carbon skates. Surprisingly the hardcore evos work perfect!!❤️
      But the TAUS ARE AMAZING!! As for the rocker. Check the video tomorrow 😉👊🏼 I'm making a video on how to rocker every skate . Or how to make new wheels feel better out of the box

      THE LINO LIFE cool I'll check it out. Yeah you can't heat mould carbon, if it was a plastic shell you'd get away with it, that's a shame. We all have injuries, I crashed a motorbike into a car when I was seventeen, doctors thought at the time that I might not walk again. My right lower leg was smashed between the car and bike, absolutely flattened, bone in fragments, and my left knee was smashed up because me and the bike went flying, and the bike landed on my left leg.
      It was all my own fault, I was young, (going way too fast, straight thru a crossroads), when you think bad things only happen to other people, right?
      But I healed. I can jump, run, skate, everything, even with two screws in my left knee haha.. But my right leg has a bump in the bone too, and it's why I lean out with my right leg and have to adjust the frame. The leg healed, but the bone leans left, to the inside, then right.

    The laceing is called a Boa system. Its airline cable on a rachet cog. I've used them on snow board and ski boots. Both of them for over 10 years and no breakages.

    I was looking up at these skates. I always worry bout the lacing system if I were to take a tumble, guess that's why I stuck to traditional laces. But these sound pretty sweet as an entry into triskates or just inline in general.

    • @RicardoLino
      @RicardoLino  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Daniel Naron thanks for the comment dude ! But these are not entry level skates. Off course they can be used for a beginner but they can also be used by an expert skater who's keen on comfort and to get in the skates quick quick 😉👊🏼💥

      I can say that the NEW 2017 VI disc lacing system is improved a lot from the initial Vi system from 2015 :)

    Thanks Lino, I am looking to get the white Radium ones. I am a bit concerned about the 125mm. Bladeville does not do VAT free shipping to overseas (non EU), they do ship to where I live, but a lot of online shops allow me to buy without VAT, so at the end, I am just saving on the VAT (Poland is 23%) which is not too bad. :) I am still on the fence, but I might go for it.

    • @RicardoLino
      @RicardoLino  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hope it all works out for you!!
      please let me know what you end up going with ;)
      lots of love
      Lino

    • @ValentinLEUNG
      @ValentinLEUNG 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Went with the white ones. :) I prefer those even if it can easily get dirtier. At the end, the actual shop selling me the skates are in Berlin and I am surprised they don't offer VAT off purchase for non-EU customer. (skatesolution have the same skate for approx same total price, shipment included, without VAT). Anyhow, I'll stop complaining on that.
      Even if they are fitness skates, I'll still try to do moderate tricks on it. We will see. :) Eagerly waiting for my daughter to improve so that I can bring her out.
      the frame is 231mm, so it can be mounted some smaller wheels if I need better control.
      214€ is not too bad, I did not want to blow off my budget on carbon boots (Tau Seba). Looking at the way it is, if it's not stiff enough, I might try myself in remolding the shell in carbon.
      Now, I need to wait up to 20 days (shipping to Hong Kong). That's kind of long... very long...
      Thanks Lino again for your videos and this deal!

      Hey Lino, I finally received them, exactly a month after they left Poland. For the unboxing experience, I was not very pleased, the finishing of the different layers of textiles/patches, die cuts of the bits and pieces is not precise, the stitching is not very well laid out. Some spots of grease are here and there, leaving yellow marks on the boot. I might be a perfectionist.. but well... I work in the manufacturing industry in Asia.. those are the kind of stuff why some shipments are not leaving my doors.
      On the riding experience, the foam is a bit hard, the higher parts of the cuff did injured my skin there because of rubbing against it. Hopefully, I am going to do the hair dryer thermoforming and hope that it's going to be better. It's been a while I haven't skated anything with a cuff, was mainly using an old pair of vaypor.
      Speed is quick... 231mm frame 3x100 feels like 4x80, I don't feel the bulk of 100mm wheels at all. That's a very very good pair.
      Two out of the six wheels have rolling noise though. For brand new bearings, that's very disappointing.
      Anyhow, I'll ride those more and see.
      Thanks again.

      I will look for that heat molding video. Im looking forward to move from RB Temptest 100 to some Powerslide 125mm full high boot(if Trinity even better) but I wear a 42.5 EU and I see Powerslides comes in 41-42 and 43-44. Been in Cuba means I cant send them back so I have to nail the size or otherwise ill be stuck with an skate that doesnt fit. Any advices??

    Will this skate fits well for a wide foot person if I heat mold? My foot is 101 mm wide, if not what 125 mm fitness skates do you recommend for wide footers, I'm planing to do long distance skating 4 times a week?

    Hi Lino...love your channel. I am really interested with this V125 Vanta...but what is the difference between the V's VS Swell VS Kaze? I just need it for going the distance and no tricks. Which would you recommend? Comfy is very important for me because I am going for distance. TQ Lino...Fan from Malaysia

    Hi Mr. Ricardo.
    Can you give me some advice please?
    I want to by new 125 mm skates but I stil don't know if the powerslide swell 125 trinity dark lava or the POWERSLIDE V. TRINITY 125 Vanta Black is the better choice.
    It is for long trips skating.
    P.s. it's your fault that I want to be a good skater :-) thank you.

    • @RicardoLino
      @RicardoLino  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      WOW. thank youuuuu so much!!
      in terms of comfort you might want to go with the swells :)

      lots of love
      Lino

      @Lindeveld 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mr Ricardo
      I have bought the Powerslide swell 125 trinity dark lava and I am very happy with them.
      My avarage speed is not a lot more (+-1 KM/h) my avarage speed is just above 15Km/h for a distance of about 15 km.
      No blisters and a lot more easy to keep the speed.
      The roads are much smoother now then with my 80 mm wheels
      Thank you very much for your advice and video's.
      Why do we skate? it's fun, a lot of fun. I love it
      Thanks.

      Thanks for the reply! Got the money together sooner than I thought ;o However, now I'm torn between these and some Megacruisers I can get for a simmilar price. My bigwheel experience is comprised of buying a Kizer with some 110s, throwing them on my Carbon IIIs and then basically living on them for the past couple of months. I skate almost every day it doesn't rain (and some when it does) for fun and for transport. I actually wear my skates more than my shoes now.
      My main worry is as the V.s are fitness skates they may not be supportive enough for all my powersliding needs, however, my relationship with my carbon 3s is essentially symbiotic and they're one of the most flexible and least supportive aggressive boots out there. I actually love how low the cuff is, I think my ankles just got stronger to adapt.
      Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts and sorry for throwing this wall of text at you as I know you must be busy. Here's a video of me skating down Cheddar gorge @28mph if it helps you gauge my skill/style (I know I really should've had a helmet I was just away from home and it was too good to pass up).

    Damn so tempting, the issue I have with buying skates online is, that I'm a size 44 (EU) in shoe size and I have pretty broad feet. So usually 43's are too small and hurt and 44-45 tends to get just a bit too big and loose. But the discount is very very tempting. You might have to get a new LINO discount code in the future for me when I'm sure ;P

    • @RicardoLino
      @RicardoLino  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      daves2hd the shell is a 43/44 so I guess 45 won't be a option ;)
      And the liners have an expandable toe are so I guess you would be a 44 in these 👊🏼💥
