I lost my dad exactly a week ago to a major stroke and a clotting disorder. He never was too old to play, or goof off with his kids or grand kids. It’s one of the things that I will never forget about him. You’re never too old to have fun. ❤
I 100% agree with you about how beautiful, and calming flowers are to my soul! I also can't help but touch plants! - their leaves, their flowers, their fruit...I feel re-energized when I spend time in my garden!
Chia puddings can be made just two hours ahead, they don't need to be made the night before. Also, after mixing the ingredients the first time, leave for a few minutes and then give another stir before refrigerating, that way you will avoid clumps of seeds and obtain a more uniform texture.
What a nice relaxing home time...no you are not too old...your kids will always remember the time Mom went down the slide 😊 always enjoy your encouraging content Jennifer...have a wonderful day ❤
I love flowers too! I also love to go for an early morning walk when all of the little birds are up and singing. There really is so much beauty in simple things. Thank you for the reminder to enjoy life right where you are.
Hey Jennifer I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your channel. Watching you and reading your book has really helped me find myself again the last few years now that my youngest is a teenager and Ive scaled down my business. You've helped me remember who I was BEFORE I began wearing a million hats and needed 8 arms lol. Every week you intoduce me to something new and Im so grateful. Love you girlie❤
Jennifer, I want to thank you for all of your wonderful content. I love learning from you because you are so humble and down-to-earth. Those are rare qualities. (P.S. please forgive my "unchic" username. It keeps my identity safe. 😁)
A pretty swim cap can be your answer to wanting to swim on good hair days! Haha Your mind is primed to spot flowers as you think of them regularly and they appear to show up even more in your life.
I can totally relate about the hair with swimming. A lot of times I feel like swimming but don’t feel like the whole process of washing my hair. Great video as always!!
Your baby grew up so fast but I don’t recall when you had him. I have to admit I haven’t visited your channel for a long time. I was busy carrying for my husband who had a stroke last year. I introduced chick pea pasta to my husband and he didn’t like it so much. If I make beef empanadas, I will mix in chick peas so that I am not using so much ground beef (due to food price inflation) Mushrooms is another alternative. As for fashion, I have learned that the French style does not work for my body type. I am petite plus and dressing in solid one colour works well for me. Very nice to see your baby growing!
Oh Jennifer the orchids in the shower are absolutely gorgeous, I would keep them there if I could. Your parents flowers are also beautiful, I hope your father is doing better and able to enjoy them! "Tending" to the home I love saying that for some reason. Thank you for a lovely video ❤
I love sending missives to friends and family. So when you end these videos with "love, Jennifer". It always makes me feel like I've received a letter from you. Blessings stacie
Hi Jennifer - love your chia pudding toppings! A tip for chia puddings - if you mix the seeds and the liquid thoroughly in a larger container like a jar, then decant into a smaller dish like yours, you'll get a more even consistency to your pudding (ie no areas of packed seeds and areas of plain milk etc). All the seeds will "grow" equally that way and it makes for a more happier pudding.
I love these videos about enjoying your home! I also love and enjoy flowers! They add so much beauty to your home and your life. Your parents garden is beautiful! Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us!❤
Like you, I like to take time in my day to look at the flowers in my garden. They are a great source of joy to me. I feel so relaxed after doing a little breath work with you and watching your calming video, I will take that feeling through the day with me. Thank you ❤
It’s so lovely to see you splashing about in your magical pool! 🧜♀️ Swimming is so liberating. I can totally relate to the hair thing - I only go swimming when I’m due to wash it! At times I’ve tried to swim and not get my hair wet, but predictably, I’ve ended up wanting to dunk my head in! 💦 🦆
Thank You, Jennifer for yet another inspirational video! I never made Chia pudding before, I assumed it’s rather complicated. As you showed, it really isn’t! Sending love from Wales 🌹
Hi Jennifer, We enjoy the Banza pasta from Costco and also picked up the pumpkin seeds at your recommendation. I make my impromptu chia pudding by putting boiling water over my chia seeds; they rehydrate in a few minutes. Next, I add a little almond milk and all the fresh berries from my garden plus cacao nibs and unsweetened coconut. I think of your father often and pray for you all; also praying for your friend and her family. Happy summer solstice! Julie 🌷
I have a season pass to my local water park, and I moved my hair washing days to fall right after my visits, so I can relate. 😅 I also agree about flowers. I’m lucky and blessed to live next a nature park in my city, with beautifully-landscaped flowers and ornamental trees. One day I wondered what a pomegranate flower looks like, having never seen one. That same day I happened to take a walk in the park and found a pomegranate tree in full bloom! I didn’t even know we had one! The flowers looked fluffy, and somewhere between orange and hot pink.
God Bless you and your family :) your content has value that is beneficial to me. Love of poetry, love of words, love of art.. and love of God most of all.. :)
I rewatched your video and wanted to make the chia seed pudding. I realized I had ground chia seeds in my freezer where I keep them for freshness and so they don’t turn rancid. I’ll see how the ground version turns out. Patiently waiting. 😅
Hello Jennifer, I’m sure you’ve mentioned it previously, but I was curious how often you have help? (Nanny, home care service etc..?) I would love a video on how to incorporate and organize managing the home in such a way? I find I’m not good at scheduling and juggling everything that it entails 😩
I'm really enjoying your Spring/Summer series! As a long-time "rock hound" and student and practioner of rock and gem energies, I'm so looking forward to the arrival of my Vita Jewel Carafe today! Thanks for showcasing them! ❤❤❤
Oh my, so much here that correlates with my own explorations! It makes me happy to see your beautiful chia seed pudding! I am currently hooked on a version of this for breakfast with cacao powder, choc protein powder, oats and unsweetened almond milk. Topped with raspberries. I love your version, I absolutely must try it! The orchards in the shower made me think of my mum who has been learning this trick from a friend at church. It makes me smile because she had struggled keeping plants alive, but nowadays it's a different story! I love all the beautiful colours you showcased in yours. And chickpea pasta! We have a brand in Australia called San Remo and I have only recently started trying this nutritious variety as spaghetti with cherry tomatoes, garlic, basil, extra virgin olive oil and white wine. I must try a la vodka, it looks divine! And I love your Vivaia shoes! I adore whimsy too and I have one pair from them...sooo comfy! Also thankyou for sharing about breathing, must explore! Oh and I love beautiful cursive writing, what a wonderful idea to improve it! Thank you Jennifer, so many gems. Always love your storytelling ❤
Hi Jennifer, I’ve noticed that some of my favorite TH-camrs happen to be part Hispanic, Iike you & the Cottage Fairy. My mother’s from Mexico & my father’s ancestors are from Great Britain & Sweden. I’m American, but similar to you, I feel my personality would fit best in a classier time & place (my Mexican grandmother was exactly the Dowager Countess of Grantham, in addition to my British “aristocratic” blood😂). After recently visiting Mexico, I’m trying to find ways to honor that part of me more (improving my Spanish, appreciating their gracious manners, sharing recipes/customs w/ people, learning about indigenous bead work.) I would love if you made a video about your Panamanian heritage. How is it incorporated in your life, maybe family customs, recipes? I think your cultured audience would love learning about this part of you.
I have two questions if that’s ok. 😁 1) Is there a specific reason you don’t drink a lot of milk? I notice you cook with it but you very rarely will drink it or add it to smoothies, chia pudding, etc. Just curious about the reason behind it. 2) Did you buy your house with the pool already there or did you add it? I LOVE the slide/waterfall aspect!! Thanks! ❤
Oh Jennifer your Rose Guild Adventures Days❤️❤️❤️ Ana bad Hair day and swimming in the pool. I so relate with you! Your chia pudding delicia The whimsical red shoes so chic! The chickpea pasta yummy. Your orchids thank you for the caring tips for them the leaf spray and putting them in the tub!! How you live your family life is beautiful 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Jennifer, Another beautiful post🌺 QUESTION: With your IF routine in the beginning, I know you technically “clean fasted” with drinking your coffee black,, as I do the same! Could you tell me what your thoughts and routine in the weight loss phase was concerning “brushing your teeth” during the fasting window? Some do,, some say not to bc it will send the signal to your brain/blood sugar, and will break a Clean Fast! What protocol did you follow ? Thank you😍
We are having wonderful hot weather in 🇬🇧 atm so Im feeling very envious of your pool! I take my son swimming once a week and I always plan my hair wash around that - I put a hair mask in my hair and tie it up for the day and swimming so it’s protected from chlorine and than wash it that evening❤
Please tell us more about the handwriting course! I’d love to improve mine!! I started to do a little course last winter but had to give it up because I didn’t have time to commit to it. It’s on my bucket list still!
I couldn't help but notice that the music during your pasta segment had a Renaissance feel. Have you attended a Renaissance fair or an early music concert?
Good Morning! What a wonderful video!!! I could truly watch one every day!! I hope your summer is going really well! Take care and see you tomorrow! :) With love, Kellie

Jennifer, your white dress is glorious. Thank you for another lovely video.
It's one of my favorites. My sister loved it too and bought one!
@@TheDailyConnoisseur Ah, she has good taste too.

Here to say that I love your parents garden and the floral content!
"I am passionate about living well at home." I haven't watched the full video yet, but already hearing this inspires me. Thank you 😊
You are an angel! I so enjoyed my morning tea with you today....

Thank you, DeAnna!
Thank you for beautiful video, loved the flowers.
What a joyful and beautiful video❤ I love enjoying "home", too🪻Thank you for sharing your home and the ways you make daily living fulfilling!
I understand the hair issue...the solution could be a swim cap and one that is retro themed with flowers!
I love sending missives to friends and family. So when you end these videos with "love, Jennifer". It always makes me feel like I've received a letter from you. Blessings stacie
That's my goal. Thank you! ♥
It’s so wonderful to spend a day at home❤
😂I enjoy your channel. It is a great reminder to live well in a world which doesn't. Thanks for you work😊
"I love adoring the flowers." Ah, yes! Another delightful video with afternoon tea.
My words for summer are playful and present. Yes to pool slides!
Thank you Jennifer for sharing your intentional and fulfilling way of live with your peaceful vids.

Your videos are always so much fun to watch. I learn so much from your videos and appreciate all you do to give quality content. 🌺
Love the Mad Hatter quote
I feel the same way about flowers!! So much so, that I make it a habit to visit our local conservatory at least once a week in the winter months!
I love these videos about enjoying your home! I also love and enjoy flowers! They add so much beauty to your home and your life. Your parents garden is beautiful! Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us!❤

It's so easy. The trick is remembering to do it the night before
Hi Jennifer, We enjoy the Banza pasta from Costco and also picked up the pumpkin seeds at your recommendation.

Thank you so much, Julie!
Your toppings for the chia pudding look amazing, Jennifer. I love almond butter, pumpkin seeds, and blueberries.
Thank you, Luba! I had never put almond butter on but it was good. The nutty flavor was a welcome change.
Such a perfect video to enjoy while eating during my lunch break!😊
Your flowers look amazing! Thank you for the home inspiration ❤
They are from my parents' garden. Thank you!
What a wholesome soothing video

Thank you! ♥
I started saving my orchids a long time ago after seeing your first video about how to do so! I’ve grown to love them so much. 💜
This was a very calming and relaxing video. Thank you, especially for the tips on self-care and for sharing the beautiful flowers with us✨🌷
I rewatched your video and wanted to make the chia seed pudding. I realized I had ground chia seeds in my freezer where I keep them for freshness and so they don’t turn rancid. I’ll see how the ground version turns out. Patiently waiting. 😅
Beautiful video, Jennifer!! You are definitely not too old for going down the sled on a raft!! Keep enjoying your precious children! ❤️
I'm so behind in your videos, Jennifer but it is like coming home when I have time to watch one. I also drink out of my Chic Society mug regularly!

What a gorgeous pool you have! Is it chlorine or salt water?
I love chickpea pasta! It is all I use anymore.
Te agradezco mucho por hablar de flores y mostrarlas, con gusto vería un vídeo sobre el tema.
What would you suggest when you have last minute dinner guests?
Thank you for the request ♥
