@@randyrockwell6136 I use spray on polyurethane. I leave the ornament on the lathe and while spinning it slowly I spray the ornament. This gets both the outside and the inside. Sometimes I will touch it with sandpaper before applying a second coat; other times, I just apply a second coat. It just depends on how good a job I did it on the first coat.
