Best instructions on a RGB Mega Tree I have found. Very clear and concise. Everything is covered including where to buy the parts
and also some detail on how to make the tree more secure using j bolts and bungee balls. Great video

@@CounterHolidayLights I will be building this pixel tree for next Christmas. My plan is to have a Light O Ramma 16 channel controller for the tree and a stand alone controller for the tree topper that would connect into the 16 channel controller. This will be my only RGB piece and I don't plan on doing any expanding. Was looking to use a Light O Ramma director to play the show. Do you know where I can get an already sequenced couple of songs for this pixel tree and tree topper? Just want to be able to use the director and loop the songs.

you would need to talk to some one who uses light o ramma sorry I am an xlights user. search facebook for the light o ramma groups.

This is my first pixel year after many years running a show with software that I wrote around 10 years ago. I'd love to win this kit because this is the most helpful, detailed video I've seen on building a mega tree. We will make this the centerpiece of our display and will be the first in our end of town to have pixels. Also, I loved the fake (real) megatrees in the beginning of the video. The humor kept me watching! 🎄

HOW AWESOME TO HAVE FOUND YOUR VIDEO!!! I have decorated since I was a child. I remember my Dad putting one little 100 light strand up and we loved it. Then he built me a wire star from his work that I still use. From there it has progressed every year and it's what makes Christmas to me. I decorate because it gives me such joy and I love to share it with others to give that nostalgia that I felt as a kid decorating.
I just upgraded to LED lights around my home to get rid of those costly lights that run up your power bill and had to be replaced and repaired every year. Now I want to advance my display and this tree would fit perfect in my current setup. I'm needing something to add that pizazz and help elevate my decor...
THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO and this opportunity!!

Hey there. I have been doing lights but just with incandescents and LED strings for 10 years and now I am finally going to get into pixels!! I am sure you have given the Boscoyo stand away, but holy cow i would love to have one if you have one for this year to give away. Great video and it totally calmed me down and made me realize i can do this!

Nice video.. I'm planning my first display this year, and plan on building a mega tree just like this as the center-piece of my display. A free one would save me a lot of time & money! :)

This tree would look awesome in my front yard! Our across the street neighbor (Jerry) will have to put up the white flag when this thing goes up. While we are not doing a full Griswald "visible-from-space" display, the goal is to be the first on our block to use programmable pixel displays. I am a noob, but picking things up fast. For me, Christmas lights were always about bubble lights. I Love them. Thinking of making a MEGA Bubble light prop, with the pixels simulating the bubbling. Gonna work on that once I get up to speed on Xlights. In the mean time, this will do just fine! Pick me, Pick me!!!

Great how-to video! I would like to win this and then I would give it to my neighbor. I talked him into doing a light show with me this year and he is needing a mega tree!

I would like to add this to my 4 Boscoyo mini trees that I purchased from Extreme Lighting Displays here in Australia. This will fit nicely between them in my front yard and give the display some more height

Just getting started this year….this would be perfect, along with some arches for the driveway, to blend in with my traditional big box Christmas lights I already own….down the rabbit hole I go…lol
