Great video. Thanks. How many coats of *each color* paint do you recommend? I am painting an animal (mostly purplish black) using Angelus paints, and was told to use the primer before painting. I believe you said to add sealer before painting or is that only when finished painting? Many thanks

Thank you. Use the Derivan Clear Sealer www.derivan.com.au/shop/product/1dm25cls-clear-sealer-1245 to prime the surface before painting. It gives the paint a better surface to stick to. After painting you can use a varnish to protect the work once it is dry.
I am not familiar with that paint brand but the manufacturer would have recommendation on how many coats would be needed for each colour, depending on the pigment.

Afte painting and after letting the paint cure, use either Derivan Polymer Gloss Varnish or Derivan Polymer Matt Varnish.
