You guys have been hoarding awesome and brilliant tutorials like this. Not cool! This could've saved me hours of figuring out level design layouts. Even back then I tried the spline tool but it was too challenging, but this video made it simpler. Thanks!
I really like this package but it lacks: 1. An intersection feature for the road, I know there is an example that has that but it just overlaps 2 splines which creates z fighting/planefighting issue. You can code an intersection yourself like what Game Dev Guide did though. 2. Create paths/roads for terrain. It would be great if Unity provide this kind of features.
great tutorial, although you kind of lost me on that last one, I guess I should go through and do it myself. I find it hard to follow when you just walkthrough completed code instead of build it up from scratch so we can see what each part does in a practical example. the last example can benefit from its own longer video
Is there a way to control those values so for example, a car is following a path, but it accelerates and reduces velocity as it moves? I would like to control those timings using keyframes maybe.
I see there is an animation feature splines, but what about a spline path follower? Is that possible so I can for instance put an object on the spline that moves along when force is applied to the object?
Typical Unity, show how coding guidelines means nothing!! What is the point of distributing a Coding Guidelines, if Unity themselves can not adhere to this!! There is a lot of bad practices out there, without Unity adding to it!!
Happy to see new tutorials being added here
The recent tutorials released by Unity are pure gold! Thanks!
i really appreciate this tutorials on specific features...
This tutorial came just when I needed it. Thank you!
Wow! today learned about spline feature. Thanks.
Fantastic tutorial, really appreciated!
I learned so much here! Thank you! I've been wanting to build a monorail sequence and this makes it possible. ❤🎉
Thanks, this is useful!

Amazing thank you so much for this new package and the good introduction 🎉❤
Really cool!!

Great Tutorial, I want to make road system and look there is tutorial. Thank you @unity
That’s the way a game engine should follow, thank you! 🎉

A long overdue package!!
Finally at Right Time!

Excellent option❤❤❤❤❤

thank you babe
Thank you very much! It would be interesting to see how to animate hands with weapons correctly)))
Its functionality should be extended to allow it to interact better with terrain, just like other plugins such as easy road.
clean.
Please remove it from package manager and make it as main feature of engine. It is very very useful tool. Thank you many times
add spline with terrain integration
When will you add terrain height adjustment functionality to the spline component?

I wanna learn how to make a game like Car Parking Multiplayer😢
How can I use it to create roads 😅
It's literally in the video just watch it lol
ok
As usual, with A LOT OF BUGS. Nice job Unity.
spines in 2024 while all is on AI welldone :D
dont exist loft road behavour
You have to import the sample from Spline Package

Need more functionality and features.

The year was 2024, Unity invented splines hahaha. Keep it up, in 15-20 years you will catch up with UE 4.26
Spline Extrude is really useless for road or river (or anything). Please add plane or tessellated plane shape.
