I love the brotherhood in this video. I also love how you both are showing yourselves in a vulnerable light. You are great examples of men that are both vulnerable and strong. It's great for men (and women) to see that a man can be incredibly strong and at the same time be kind, supporting and compassionate. Thankyou xxx

I just played part of this in a staff meeting on the big screen, and sent it to a distribution list within...a very large healthcare system that won't let me use their name... :) This is saturated with insight, wisdom and truths. Wow. Thank you for such a great podcast. -@9:00 - "It didn't feel safe for me to feel unsafe emotions." I was presented with this truth after taking a LOA to heal in Nov '16. As I allowed myself to heal, my body followed and what was progressive blindness is now in remission - because I allowed myself to FEEL and process (and relearn). THIS information should be the first line of dealing with disease. Name, birthday, weight, vital signs, and tell me about your childhood... Thank you, Lewis and JP.

I am curious how you feel about this a few pandemic profiteering years later. Are you still a fan? Is his disdain for basic public health measures contagious enough that you believe they are useless or dangerous? Or are you now cognisant of the lengths he will go to to generate click revenue?

I love the realization about childhood and taking on the parent role. Grew up the same and caused a great deal of pain and codependency. I used humor as well to cope.

My guy was from Chillicothe, OH. Simple, loving, brilliant, kind, strong man from the country. He died of heart failure in 2014. I wonder if... he had been able to heal his sadness... would he still be here. He understood life. I miss him dearly. Not yet have I been able to let go of the fact that he is gone. He would have retired this year. I miss his insight and humor. My best friend for 27 years. Ohio really is the Ultra-Spiritual center of the universe.

Christina Tsiripidou I hope being aware of that has helped create a positive change for you. I know that numbness because I spent years like that ( my own daughter said I was broken and dead inside) I have found what I needed to create a change and my world is very different now. I’m not lecturing you, I genuinely feel compassion for you and wish you a happy and full life. Don’t let people who have hurt you maintain control over your future happiness. I wish you all the best. In a world with no real paretnal guidance.Having to be the protective guard for my sisters.Trying to protect them from bullies and negitive interactions. They had a beautiful twin like relationship that is real value in this world. They formed a emotional intelligence.I was a red head as a child I had redicule and prejudice on a level no really understood. Then my hair turned brown I felt lost without my firey main. My individuality was lost. Im glad your humar is so unique. It really helps I can tell you have a plain to heal. Humar and experience to crack the human condition . To really address the issues of the rejection of what heals. I like your communication skills and intelligent ways of dealing with life. Humar for us all to recognise our personal issues. Then getting to the point in a round about way to get us to recognise what can be changed for the better. What accually can be changed . How rediculice closed mindedness can be. Its like the AA mantra. This video is really nice. I think we just want to enjoy it.I had a midlife experience @39. I realised after I needed to wake up and learn to live. I asked for dbt. It has helped so much. I have litteraly a sleep most of my life awake after school. Passing classes by the seat of my pants. What ever gives hope. Fake it till you make it. That is my mantra now @the moments. Not like self fulfilled proficiency.Although kind of.

A lot of good points here. I so admire the idea of being able to laugh at yourself, not take things too seriously, and be true to yourself however ridiculous it may be. I didn't know Lewis Howes until this video but both guys seem to have a great outlook on life. JP has so many clever remarks that makes you rethink your prejudices and recognize that people grow in different ways and a number of solutions can work in different ways for different people. good stuff
