Hello, great tutorials thank you so much ! I only have one question, I baked all my maps and when I load my albedo map on my lambert it does not appear on my plane. It's just create a white and a black side. And I know my albedo map is right because the preview of it is good when I chose it in my files. Would you know why it's not working ? (I've done it once before and it worked so I do not know why this time it's just a white plane) Thank you :)
Check . The albedo map file format, it should be .tga file when u load file in lemberd material.. do not use png or jpg file.. file format should be in .tga
Love the breakdown and I have a question about the direction flow map. I've seen more flow map that are more light in color like a bright green compare the purple color. Is there a difference or is it base on say the amount of hair strands for that set of hair texture?
No there are no difference , these colours are showing a perticular direction of shine , when light falls,. Every hair style may different in flow and types , so that they come with different color shade of green and purple.. 😊
Try it to render in front view camera... I understand , I have set this tutorial in as top view, render. ,. But for normal map. Try to render with front view camera.. ❤️.
@@elizabethkihara2668 Kindly Pay Attention while Rending Normal Maps, Just take a render from FRONT View only, in this video view is set as top view, so for Normal Map just Select all your hair base mesh and rotate to front and take a render from front view camera, to get good green color normal map, because it referring hair vertext normal to front view. so just take Normal map In front view.

Hello i have been following your tutorial- and oddly enough when i make hair visible like at 7:29 my strands have visible darker inside and lighter outside- i thought it might be due to thickness of the strands but even top strans seem to have inside dark gradient which turns to lighter. Perhaps you know how to fix that?
I can't make a hair car in maya, because I can't render, my PC CPU core i9 13900k, ram 32g, GPU 4070 12g, when I follow your steps, rendering doesn't work, dissipation Heat alarm 99% pls help
You can try remder 2k texture , then you increase to 4k .. or you can decrease Arnold render settings, values ... Like camera offsets and all then you can try..♥️

I'm having trouble with the aiutilities renders. The normal map comes out green and the depth map comes out a completely different color

Why does my direction map have a pink background? ive tried rendering in front and top view and it didnt make a difference

You have to change render to front view ।just rotate the hair strnds to front view and then render

What is your PC configuration?, my computer is relatively powerful, but cannot render 4k, the cooling temperature is up to 99%
My PC is i7 , 16gb grafic and 32gb ram
I dont know what happened but my normal map rendered green and my direction map rendered the hairs yellow.
