If it were me, I would gift her the Schuyler I had already marked up. The notes in that one were taken with purpose and intent, not merely replicated to her Bible. What a treasure your wife is - you can't go wrong either way! 🌹
No really - she wants the RL Allan done with the notes. Haven’t started yet - soon though!
I put some notes in my Bibles. Especially when something is a HUGE REVELATION for my ongoing life. So---Yes!

Premium Bibles are beautiful works to treasure…but it sounds to me like your personal notes in your handwriting are a more precious treasure to her than a pristine premium. 😉
She knows your handwriting, and if she would like you to do it rather than her, it's because she want's to recognize your personal notes vs hers. Be happy she wants it and do it ! Don't be scared!
lol well her handwriting is sooo much better than mine. I think it’s just because they are my notes and she wants the specialness of seeing my writing in it.
From a female perspective, you are on target! So, make her happy and go for it. You did it for your kiddos.

explain to me your ribbons? They look short and look like some are just in but not attached to the bible?
Exactly - I have the original ribbons tucked in and I made some extra ribbons that I just place in the Bible as well.
Use a pencil ❤
