Nice combo on the colors and glitter. Really like the all glitter colors! So many color and molds! Lol! You are going to keep me busy over the winter making lures!💪 Thanks for sharing Adam!
Great creations and well done. Really appreciate your attention to details and perfection. I'm so glad I found your channel! Not sure why I haven't seen it before last week as I've been watching fishing, lure making and fly tying videos for years. Really appreciate your Christian values and walkthrough videos on plastisol molds and builds as well as the jig creations videos. Be blessed.
Another great video, these help in deciding to pull the trigger on new molds. As always I'm digging your colors. That rainbow would be great laminated with pink on a crappie bait.
I'll be buying some of those without a doubt!!!!!! The ned crawler is killing in my water and that worm version will be perfect on my ultra finesse shaky head, excellent colors too!!!
Thanks Dan! Its such a good bait... and so hard to really appreciate adequately until you get one in your hands. Its already a confidence bait for me, despite being a recent add to the box!
Awesome color combos. When you stated adding red my wife said he’s making Christmas colors. Awesome job buddy. One question when you reheat after your plastic starts to set up do you do that on full power?
Thanks Dave (and Mrs Dave!). I do all my reheats at the same power, yup. I’ve heard of some using a defrost mode in different instances, but baitplastics 242 is so good, I’ve not had to worry about scorching. I can recall one time I took it weeeeellll beyond 400 and it yellowed a bit, but that was it. Super tough stuff, I love it.
Thanks for the question! Initial heating must take the plastisol above 350 in order for the chemical reaction to take place. If you don’t get there or only get a portion of the cup there, the baits will be sticky (at best) and may not setup/harden correct at all (at worst).
@@SDGCustomLurecraft so you use thermometer and I would take it that each plastic has a different time that it takes to get that hot and I’m gonna buy the plastic that you use to take a bit like 2 to 3 minutes or a little bit less
@@klboutdoors9644 yeah, you can use an internal thermometer or an IR Gun (which is what most use - although be sure to temp it while stirring or immediately after as the “top” will cool faster and not give you a true reading). All plastisol brands have to get to 350+, they differ in various ways, but chemically, they all have to exceed 350 to convert completely. You have to make sure you stir the plastisol COMPLETELY before hearing as well. The resin will separate from the plasticizer over time so it’s critical that they are mixed thoroughly before pouring out into a measuring cup for heating. Timewise… that all depends on the volume, the derometer (how much resin is in your blend), the power of your microwave… best to start with a minute, check it, 30 more sec, check, etc… until, once you stir up the cup, you are clear and over 350. Chris Jones with World’s Worst Fishing has some great “how to for beginners” videos - definitely worth checking out as you get started!

Appreciate that, thanks!!
Wow!!! That lava craw blue is amazing!!! Guess I'll be heading over to Barlows Tackle to get some!
Super cool color indeed! All forms of it are killer! I love their Seafoam Gold and Sunburst too - definitely a couple other stand-outs!
Great looking stuff man! That rootbeer n purple is outstanding 👏🏻
IKR? Thanks man, I was legitimately nervous about that one and it turned out to be the highlight, at least for me!

Love that rootbeer purple tail sweet looking bait
Yeah buddy! It was a standout for sure!!
Always great videos!

Awesome color combinations!! Sweet mold!! You nailed ‘em Adam!! Thanks for sharing!!
Appreciate it James! Such a good mold, shoots perfect every time, and they turn out awesome. It’s one of those that’s just plain fun to shoot!
Looks like you have mastered color combos. Those look great. Thanks for another great video.
Master I am not, but I do have fun! Thanks Francisca!
Awesome colors!!
Thanks Bill!
Using flake to make your colors is something I’m definitely going to try out now, another awesome video SDG!
I love it! Hope it works well for ya Josh!
Those would be great fishing in the style of a Charlie Brewer’s Slider worm. Owner hooks makes a great slider style jig head to pair with it.
I’ll have to look that one up! 👍👍
Epic bait!!! Pun intended
Well played, and I agree! Thx man!
Killing it
Thx John!!
Smallmouth would be fighting over these colors in creeks and streams. The size is perfect for smallies in Ozark clear water lakes.
Thanks John, glad you liked em!!
Great Video, enjoy every one of your video's. Thanks
Thanks Harley! Really appreciate that!
Thank you for the great video ++

That purple tail as the body with the chartreuse tail! That would be a fire combo color!
Indeed it would!

I found if you fish this worm like a fluke it works amazing. Especially if you shoot it clear with flake only
Oh man, I bet so! Thanks for the tip!
Great Vid, I just love that purple deal. Yummy.

How long to heat the plastic for when you first start mixing it or is it more of a temp thing
