- Bearish signs are intensifying for Chinese stocks ahead of the Communist Party's Third Plenum. BofA Securities China Equity Strategist Winnie Wu says that's due to a combination of factors, including pressures on China's economy and company earnings, as well as a tense geopolitical environment. She says investors should trim SOE holdings and add quality beta stocks. Wu speaks with David Ingles and Yvonne Man on "Bloomberg: The China Show."

Chinese stock market is not a stock market. It's a robber
Face palm
Old Chinese saying…If you can cheat then cheat 🧐
Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
Amazing video, you work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10K into trading from just few months ago and now they are multimillionaires
Waking up every 14th of each month to $210,000 it’s a blessing to I and my family… Big gratitude to TOMAS CALEZ ANTONIO
Maybe you don’t know anything about don’t project that onto the rest of us.
@@anthony9971 While the market is a promising one , expert guidance is essential for effective portfolio management.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until theyre being burnt by their own emotions.
Still don't get it? Central doesn't want a speculative society, duh.
it is simple. The market has huge systematic risks, including, political risk, fraud financial information, and market manipulation.

The stock market in the US is like a bank, Americans keeps their money in the stock market, big institutions account for more than 70% of the stock value in US. In China, it is completely the opposite, retail investors account for 95% of the stock value, and people's money is stored in real banks. The United States has the largest stock market, while China has the largest bank. We cannot use the experience of the US to analyze China stock market.
Institutions are made up of small investors too. Regardless it's bad news when the stock market isn't moving up. The main reason for poor stock performance for poor China is the failing of real estate market. It will take years to recover if ever.
And Chinese bank robbing people money
@@okman9684 Typical Taiwanese, charming. And like Indians, Taiwanese are scammers.
@@okman9684 Typical Taiwanese, charming.
This market has been a pain to be in, but im still buying.
1) real FDI is negative. Foreigners are divesting. 2) Retail investors have most of theirs money in RE 3) Local Institutions are not dumb. They know that accounting standards are not followed. Better to go private and fund their own ventures which sadly play second fiddle to SOE's. No winning scenario.
China markets and indexes up 25% since the bottom. These analyst dont know anything lmao. I am up 17% on average on MCHI and 32% on Tencent.
They are not faltering. It is how fate has decreed it.

The call
Bloomberg told the sheep the China grand opening after COVID was going to be spectacular.
It’s a party-state ran by corrupt friends who use equity markets as slush funds to reverse split when the price gets too low. What wouldn’t an investor love about that?
You obviously have never been to China lol
@@amunra5330many corrupt communist party members
And you think the US is not corrupted (aka lobbying) and the so-called independence Fed is not run by a party? Lol
Trump is going to shet on China Economy. 😂
Trump is a convicted felon and rapist. Trump is a terrible businessman and the worst President as rated by over 300 of the most prominent historians!

They are very different. One keeps going up and the other only going sideways. 😁😁
That’s a very astute and simple way to put it .
one performs well. The other one doesn’t.
imagine that.
@@pushslice main stock players in USA are independent firms With inventsment and brokerage agency working on stock market to buy and sale. China stocks driven by state own enterprises listed ( so they are driver. By government regulations ). The players of stocks in general are elderly or old people , individual investors with an average age of 54 years old. . Etc. is not same as in USA at all. Different type of company and different type of players ….for a such media channel they should know this because is very visible. Can read the statistics
Why is it hard? Just speak to enough China Chinese. They will tell you the rich are always trying ways to get their money out of China. It ain't even difficult to guess the direction of the China Stock market based on this fact alone. And yet foreign experts or press are still optimistic on its recovery against the implicit "advice" of local China Chinese. Unbelievable.
Aren't China stocks being delisted at the end of 2024? I'm very concerned about this.
Yes. Especially those listed in US markets. It is unfathomable that shareholders of such stocks actually believe they have shareholder rights over it. The assets are mostly in China and controlled by CCP. In the event of liquidation, they ain't getting a single penny as foreigner. BABA is such example.
because they have an emperor 😊
Grumpy Grandpa here. What do you expect. You live in a communist country.😂😂😂
chinese demand quality but dont make quality.
If you want chinese quality go back 100 years.
What changed? 🤔
WTF cares, end the china show!
Looks like China is done, but then they will surprise you by pulling rabbit out of the hat.
Delusional take
@@kunayte All US pundits have been predicting China’s fall since the 1990’s bank NPL crisis, SOE reforms crisis, Asian financial crisis, Lehman brothers crisis, 2003 property crisis and so on but China accelerated much faster taking a small momentarily dip. Ask Gordon FK Chang he had been predicting China’s fall since he became teen and now he is almost half way to his tomb. So I would not bet on 18.5 Trillion going bust if it does the whole world should prepare for Tsunami.
Cuz Tibet is not Free .
THE CHINESE ECONOMY GREW AT 5.3% q 1 2024. OUR ECONOMY GREW AT 1.6% Q1 2024. BASED ON THESE NUMBERS,IT IS QUITE EVIDENT THE CHINESE ECONOMY IS DOING A LOT BETTER THAN OUR ECONOMY.
Hoax manipulated data...that is china best in
fake CCP numbers because they're desperate for foreign investment
Ah yes, the "growth" in China is a real number and not made up 😄 Some people are so gullable
Do you really believe that China economy grew 5.3%?
Two different economy’s. China should be growing more since they claim they are a manufacturing powerhouse. Not a manufacturing powerhouse they once were.
