The bride and her wedding kimono are beautiful, and the groom is so handsome and dignified in his haori and hakama (please excuse me if that’s the wrong word- I looked it up on Google). They both look so happy! I hope they have had a good life together since then, and I hope they have many more years of happiness together.

While my family was stationed in Misawa Japan in the mid 70s, my parents and another couple were invited to a friend's Shinto wedding. The Priest's assistant invited them in to sit in on the ceremony. It was a great honor to be invited in.

There is no single kissing shown to the bridegroom in front of public, just to respect the attendees and show how respectful and great japanese culture is. Kissing and some other things are supposed to be cherished privately and exclusively between spouses.
According to your social rules. Each countries have differents way to do things. You should learn to open yourself a bit more and accept/respect other culture. Cause that's open door to racism.

Different cultures definitely own different values, but what good values in it, we should think whether it is good moral to follow or its better not to.

I find wedding are ruined in search of showing the pride of one's own wealth and choas in the name of entertainment , in recent days in the place i live in. And even i started to accustom to them.
