I have to confess, I'm a bit envious. This is so beautiful. It's the perfect wedding ceremony. My dream is to get married in the Orthodox Church, but I'm ex-Muslim and most of my family is still Muslim... And my fiance's family are protestant. And together with the fact that neither of us is yet to be baptized/received into the Orthodox Church; if we're ever granted this, it will be on the top of a list of incredible miracles that happened to us.
I cried a few times watching this but in the end, I resolved that if we don't experience it firsthand, and the Lord tarries, I'll love more people and try my best to be of help to younger couples who get married after I get baptized and experience it through their eyes.
And if I'm granted children, I'll try my best to not deprive them of such a beautiful wedding in the presence of our Lord, the Theotokos, and all His Saints.

Notice how every orthodox first starts their introductions with ethnic. In the catholic church such an identifier would come later not first, if at all. The many separate orthodox churches couldn't even call a formal council with each other, because they are not one church. Catholic have many diocese, but one church.

@@XX847 We say the ethnic due to the difference in language, the Churches are in full communion. Catholic Churches are in communion with the Pope as their leader but the problem is that the theology is different, the Eastern (rite) Catholic Church debunks the Catholic Church just by existing due to not having the same Saints (Eastern rite has Orthodox Saints) , thus not the same theology

So no, Eastern rite Catholics do not "debunk" Roman catholics because they venerate regional saints. Nice try though, might want to try listening to Jay Dyer (your false idol) a little harder and come back after. Oh and as always, we (Roman Catholics) live in your (Orthodox) head rent free. There is zero, and I do mean, ZERO videos where Catholicism IS NOT mentioned at least once in an Orthodox video. Sad.

I have been an atheist for some time, but I was raised Orthodox and to some extent I still follow the tradition (for the sake of my family). I always liked singing and the choir in church. Must admit - Japanese version is equally beatiful! Cheers from Poland!

What a wonderful video. I am an Ethiopian Orthodox Christian and I can say that we/majority Ethiopian Orthodox Christian's have no clue that there are Orthodox Christians in Japan. so this is a thoughtful video, experience and exposer for thus of us that doesn't have this information. I wish their are other similar videos around the world which give a good experience about our Orthodox Church; even if it is not enough . We Orthodox Christians must work together in order to be seen, heard and felt by others so that we can be saved by The God all together us His children, b/c after all we all are His creations !!!
