Two marriages, each 10 years. One terrible, one wonderful. If I had to say what the difference was... Respect, Appreciation and when they help you grow versus changing you. You should evolve in a good relationship, not change who you are. If they try to change you, they aren't the one. Respect and Appreciation... you would be surprised how many marriages lack this. Never stop respecting each other or showing appreciation for what each of you do.
We also give money to the married couple in Poland. Usually it was money and wine/flowers but now young couples often ask to support charity/give pet food to shelters instead of those extra flowers:) Thanks for your chill vlogs!

Ive been together with my boyfriend for about 15 years now and when ppl ask us whats our secret i always say „not getting married and not living together“ we‘re both just very independent ppl and we love that spending time together is actually something special that we plan within our week. Our relationship still feels very fresh after over a decade and it hasnt become „routine“ yet. Also we both have different ways to lead our households, so not living together is actually a great way to avoid conflict lol. I‘ll say, its probably not for everyone, though, it‘s just how we are and it works for us.

After we got together we didnt really want to do the whole moving together thing bc we both had just moved out of our family homes prior to that for uni and enjoyed having our own place immensely. After a few years we realized that we didnt really have to move in together as we both enjoyed having our own space but also loved the adventure of staying over at the other ones place or going out on dates. Maybe bc we saw many ppl our age break up bc of issues that get even more pronounced when youre living in close quarters. Also it was nice knowing my bf could manage his own househomd without a womans help. Obviously that wont work for everyone, it depends on personality as well. A person that needs constant closeness to their partner probably wont like it. Also ppl tend to find it weird and some relatives are kinda confused. But for us its worked so far, so yeah 😊 I guess i‘m of the mindset that each couple should find out what works best for them and not what society tells them to… or something 😄

As that “married friend” 😅, umm, you doing fine. Just had my first baby and OMG, so excited to meet this guy. Husbands around the world could all probably step up they game. But, no it’s not horrible just takes collective work. Marry someone who is as much of a support as you are and know your trauma points in order to not repeat ish… basically. I would still recommend. There is joy depending on who you choose.

You inspire to want to travel and when I get my passport this year…Japan is a country I plan to visit for the food. Also, your business sense is amazing and I am inspired.
I think before you get married, you and your partner should be good friends and really like each other, and I emphasize...REALLY LIKE EACH OTHER. That even if you fight and may hate each other...there will always be a moment when you will still gravitate to one another and work things out. You fight to be together, you also become each other's cheerleader and most importantly, defend for each other. There is respect. I personally don't badmouth my husband because I respect him. And any issues we may have, we try to work it out and then move forward. We focus on the good and the improvements. And call out if we go out of line. There is also compromise. That's all I got. Every marriage and relationship are different and their own way of working things out. But really, all it actually takes is....friendship, communication, faith, compromise, laughter and respect.
My husband and I are on our 5th anniversary this month, and Its been an incredible 5 years. I never wanted to get married because most couples end up hating one another......which makes no sense! But I met my husband and he was the only human in the world that always made me smile and I never got irritated with having him around, and hes just a pure, and kind human.
