I would love a bag like this with this vinyl and the scissors fabric! I also love the webbing strap and the zipper colors.

The vinyl and fabric together are wonderful. I also love the webbing. It pulls the pinkish purple from fabric just enough to give it that pop. Looks great!

Gorgeous combo, I am excited to try this strap design, very cool. At a market yesterday some customers were looking for a medium size shoulder bag. I think this may be it. Thanks for the great tutorial- as always

Nice!!! I have made this bag, and before I started on it your TH-cam channel was the first place I looked for a video on it. Nice to have a reference now with your awesome vinyl version. Love the crossbody strap!

Nice Job!! I like your choice of vinyl and fabric. Made this simple bag look fun. Why haven’t I gotten around to the Evelyn? I have made the Ethel, and always talked myself out of getting the Evelyn cuz it seemed too similar.
Well between you and Rochelle, I’m convinced I need this pattern in my arsenal. Sometimes oldies are goodies.

You are right, the photos do look a bit dated. I struggle with that too on some patterns. Or if all the photos are made with quilt cotton. No shade to those who only use QC it just doesn't appeal to my tastes. I need to get better at reimagining because a sew sweetness pattern did this to me the other day 🤣 it's a free one but has that's same QC look in all the photos, but it showed up in an Instagram story in all vinyl and it looks like a totally different bag. It's now in my future make list.

The strap is really cool! Did I miss why you snipped the seatbelt webbing and did the hardware for it the way you did? Love how this bag turned out!!

I wanted the strap to be adjustable! And to add the accents to both end - it wouldn’t have been possible without it

I use my zipper pocket rulers to cut pocket facings for all my zipper pockets, I just draw in the rectangle and cut around the ruler with my rotary cutter. It works perfect!

Your vinyl is similar in looks to 1 that I bought at Joanns last summer and it wasn't cheap. It does not turn well. it leaves creases and changes the texture of the vinyl pattern :( Can't wait to get some of yours, it looks a thousand times better.
