I am Chinese. By the grace of God, I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior at age 42 20 years ago. I read the Holy Bible and pray to the Lord daily. I now have true peace, joy and the assurance of salvation. I will glorify the Lord for the rest of my life. Hallelujah. Thanks be to the Lord my God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Hearing his testimony is so much like hearing my own. Loneliness, depression, family anger... I've experienced all of this as well. It's only by the grace of God that I remain, and I pray that others who have experienced what we have will also meet Jesus and decide to follow Him.
It warms my heart to hear Hiroto's testimony. Hiroto revealed several things which speak to me, especially about loneliness. I don't have that experience that Jesus is always with me. I think, "I'm not worth His attention or if I had Jesus's attention he would be scolding me about something.". Those are lies from the pit of hell. Thank you Hiroto for reminding me that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are my constant companions. The Holy Spirit wants to reveal Jesus to me in every way. And Jesus wants nothing more than for me to know the Father as He does. The other thing I heard was suicidal thoughts. Suicide has somehow become a part of Japanese culture. That is like be courted by death instead of being drawn into life which is Jesus's purpose. I believe suicide in Japan comes into play when pride has been taken away, but that is what must happen to truly walk with Christ. He teaches humility. This is a major point of prayer for the Japanese people, that the principality of suicide be constantly confronted in prayer.

If you believe in Jesus Christ you are completely forgiven for everything and you have God given immense value because you were bought by the blood of Jesus. That is the absolute highest price possible, the voluntary suffering and death of God himself before he rose again. That is the price he gave for us.
If Jesus scolds us, it's because we need to be scolded. If there is something in our lives that is coming between us and Him, it needs to be moved out of the way. He wants what's best for us, and sometimes, that means a harsh rebuke, but if we accept His correction, it will profit us for eternity.
Beautiful! The joy of a freshly saved man! Japan is so on my heart always and their culture exemplifies Christian values. They are detail oriented, value honor and excellence and notice when other people have needs before they express them. The deep pain of the Japanese can only be cured by the love of Jesus and the truth that they are loved not by what they do but because they are made in the image of God. This was very moving and he is spot on about how when you become a Christian people can see that difference and the light shines out of you like city on a hill, his point about reaching Japanese people through relationships and showing them that they too can have a personal relationship with a God who loves and values them and that they can have hope was great as well.
This had me blubbering because that people pleasing ruled over me my whole life. Disease plagued me since childhood; I was born into a Christian home, and never swayed in my faith, but the fear of man was always there.. The holy spirit showed me I regarded man's opinion over my own or even God's, because my apathy had led me not to care for my own opinion, and I believed God would understand as long as my intentions were to do the "right thing". But it wasn't being the perfect Christian that He wanted, He wanted obedience despite my weaknesses, and by letting go of the idol of people pleasing I was made strong in Him through health and mind. I might've suffered a bit as a child, but since I didn't have the strength to run far from Him, I was blessed by my limitations as it led me back to Him faster. And the things I laid down to be obedient, He's shown me how I can reintegrate those things to bless people. The joy and gratitude felt is overwhelming and like this man, I am transformed and seeking His will over my life and being blessed by this new relationship🌹

Japan used to have the fastest growing Christian population in the world. It's a tragedy what happened to those believers just because they believed in the Christian God. I'm glad there are still holdouts.

Japan used to have the fastest growing Christian population in the world. It's a tragedy what happened to those believers just because they believed in the Christian God. I'm glad there are still holdouts.
