One thing I like from your projects: your welds looks like the ones a common beginner would do! Nothing fancy like those pros. That give us confidence! I seen some welds here in TH-cam that are very pretty but very hard if not impossible to replicate. Nothing that a grinder can fix! Keep those projects coming!!!

I've seen videos where they prove some creators are using special effects to make their welds look better

Instead of having a beginner try to cut and weld, at the top rails and the bottom rail to overlap the vertical sides and then end to cover the openings on each end of the vertical

I finally got started with one of those cheap stick welders that are built to look like a drill. It's almost down to $100! And I built a very small hand sized welding table. Cheap and quick project.

I love this machine , it's easier to arc weld on this machine also. Much easier than an entry level arc machine.

Awesome little projects and all things that I think would push a beginner to learn new skills and end up with something useful at the end. Appreciate the succinct summary of each project and footage snippets. great video

Dude seriously! I want to make super pretty welds (I do but not consistently) but it's good to know that these welds DO hold. The saying applies to me from time to time. A little grinding and some paint makes me the welder I ain't. Lol. Actually I wouldn't want welds showing on my furniture any way unless it was and industrial look. I like clean edges and surfaces

Superb work , wood and metal is top for me - the steel bases./ supports add strength and are minimal , the wood adds warmth . I would say a welding cart should be the first project to get the welder at waist height and secure the gas bottle . I would advise changing the chopsaw for a portable bandsaw , this will create less noise and more importantly killer dust .

It would be a good idea to give some tips on heat and how it affects the metal. Basic fabrication. Often times you cant just tack something together and run a bead. Youll warp it.

Starting arc, would love to see just that type of welding in one video and Tig in another. I think that would help beginners because I doubt they’ll have all equipment to begin with. I’ll definitely be back when I’m more equipped, can’t wait to get other machines, feel arc is so limited

Just some constructive criticism, practice getting into a comfortable position before beginning a weld. It looks like you have a tendency to start a weld but get very uncomfortable and move sporadically. Whatever movements you make transfer to your weld. A trick that helps me is pretending there’s is a metronome in my head to help my movements become more consistent. This just comes with practice though, so het some angle iron, and make an x block and fill it up with weld!

1 thing you really need to do is secure your shielding gas tank.
