Do you think a .30 cal would perform similar at that range? I seen it when true the plywood no problem at 200 yards that's really amazing! How thick was it? Unsure which one to get whant to hunt coyote around 100 yards?

its the same as any other gun, barrel oscillation when the firearm is discharged, affecting projectile path because barrel with projectile STILL traveling through it, displaces (vibrates) ever so slightly from where you are aiming. I.e tune every factor that has to do with firing the projectile until the barrel ""stays put"".

Sub-moa for sure. Pellets would do as well as slugs at 100 yds. In the Crown I had, I got 0.6" at 100 with 18gr pellets. I have no doubt the Impact would do the same.

I don't think so. It helps if you want to generate gobs of power though. Even in 22 caliber, I currently have 40gr slugs going 863fps at only 160bar for 65fpe. I could probably reach 70fpe by going to 170bar. I don't know if that's possible without the add-on plenum. I'm sure it would do the same for the larger calibers....in fact it is probably needed for 30 and 35 caliber to get the most from them.
Bob your 100 yard results were good, with one group being great. However at 200 you need to do some more work on your tune. The Impact should be well able to do MOA or just over MOA groupings at 200. Granted you're shooting a .22 and that round is considerably more susceptible to wind, but it also has the best BC of most small caliber slugs so those two factors should offset to provide you what I believe should be a better (more consistent) results at 200. While 940 fps for a .22 cal slug may be stable out to 100, it's very possible that beyond that distance as speed is bled off that particular weight/shape of slug is destabilizing causing the types of erratic POIs seen in your video. The Impact is great gun in any caliber but it's also extremely tune sensitive. IMO it's a bit unrealistic to expect a gun tuned for short range accuracy to be expected to do as well at very long ranges (exactly why ONE GUN challenges are so difficult in competitions). Beyond a 100 yards, regardless of what projectile, in order to get the best out of virtually any gun, one needs to tune the gun, to that particular projectile at those extreme distances. I've already done more shooting at 100 and 200 with heavier slugs, most were sub-moa, even at 200. I also shot my first sub half-moa at both distances. O.4" at 100 and 0.7" at 200. I think they were 34gr slugs.
Nailed those paper pigeons. Gotta love those Impacts. My 30 took out 3 raccoons last week with NSA47gr. I preordered the 357 9mm Impact. Great shooting. Pigeons next.
Just when you think it’s going good, the group opens up, it proves to me that 100 is just too far, anything after 70-75 yards and it’s all down to instability, wind, BC, Harmonics.
This pretty well proves that FX rifles have the 'secret' to air rifle accuracy, would you agree? In a way it would be interesting if there were some centerfire and rimfire rifle shooters here too, then they can see that Air Rifles are NOT TOYS. Interesting video Bob, well done!

The 25gr are very accurate at 900fps. You'll need higher reg pressure, like 130 bar and increase from there if needed.

No, mine is not stock. The stock Impact will be just as accurate if tuned properly.

Yes, this Impact is an Ernest Rowe custom. It has everything....dual ported probe and barrel inlet with other stuff as well.
