Can you chrono the speed of the 140gn vs 120, 100?

I prefer the heaviest point practical,120 is my go-to. I may have to goto 140gn now.
Bullet theory: heavier the bullet, more resistant to wind drift.
Con: need more powder to push that bullet.

I've always shot ACEs with a 59 grain threaded insert and 36 grain point. This has enabled me to reduce the spine of my arrows significantly and when it's windy (here in the UK, it frequently is) I get very little wind drift. I've tried heavier arrows and heavier points and it certainly makes the shots quieter but....wind drift increases as speed decreases. It's a question of personal preference simple as that.

What is the OD on the point (vs. OD on the shank, which is listed)?

If these archers I doing so well on 140 grains why not try 200 grains and so on. This video explains different weights for different archers and there success. No scientific explanation for using heavier weights or lighter weights. I can guarantee world class archers have experimented with weights and found the the best weights for them.

Well these are all world class archers. A lot of people say use x point weight don't bother with the rest. I am point out that only trying one weight point is limiting your possibilities. 200 gr. Points for x10s are very hard (no o e makes them) and it would require a very clean release

I thought point weights depended on how you tune your arrow..... stiffer spine heavier weight and other way round.

Sort of, you can get a stiffer spine to shoot a heavier point weight or shoot a light point. You can alsi lower the draw weight on your bow to make the arrow stiffer. Or raise it to make it weaker.. You can play with point weight without changing spine and visa versa
