Not yet !! I was supposed to go 800m further, the spot is great too and you can do nice jumps there, but there were people working and i've already been kicked out of this place, gotta be careful
Thank you! It is a great spot! I was supposed to go a little further, there is a very good spot too but there were people, and I have to be careful I have already been kicked out from this place!
Ohhh I love that sound. I’m not 100% sure yet about my build I put the 3.4 Losi carb on a new Revo 3.3 It may be high idle or lean low speed it kinda idles up and down Im sure I’ll get it soon 🙂
Thank you ! Well, when it comes to tunning, im not a pro.. But from my experience, you need to richen up the LSN. Is that carb a long or short low speed needle?
Thank you Vone! The P5 comes with 2 .30 shims plus 1 .15 i removed the .15. Im not very satisfied with this fuel, its ok for bashing, still can have fun but there is a huge difference with the 25%
@@TastyBRCWelcome my friend!!! I"m afraid that 0.15 could be allready too much..At least with my LRP it worked quite well with the decrease of 0.1mm..But yeah, different engine, different fuel..Where do you currently are noticing the most lack of development ,at the low or at the high rpm regions? @@voneboy I feel like it lost power from bottom to top end.. it doesnt revvs as high as it use to for sure but bottom end sucks too, i think i need to install a smaller clutch bell when running this kind of fuel
@@TastyBRC I guess that woulds be the only way to go..Since the power development on different RPM ranges is equally worse..Because if you change the combustion chamber distance for instance with the same fuel, usually you can notice that if you decrease it the buttom power will increase but decrease on the performance on higher rev"s and vice versa...In the past I use this technique in order to reach the optimum development on different tracks..One further detail which I still remeber,is that the temperature development could be also optimized by slightly shim up the distance.. @@juliansalazar9169 I have a hobao .30 too but i haven't broken it in yet. I plan to make a review video this summer. I took it apart and the internals looks great, very nice machining, wide ports, many people told me that the carb don't hold the tune but from my experience, hobao carbs are not bat (i had a mach 28). And you, your take on it??? good engine?
Tasty B in my opinion the engine is great but the carb I did have some issues. Contacted Hobao and they sent me a brand new carb since then the truck is running great. So far i have ran 2 gallons through of 30% fuel with medium glow plug. It s really loud and fast for 1/8 scale size truck. Looking forward on the .30 hyper engine review.
30%.. i used to run 30% a long time ago, that will never happen again 😞. The hobao truggy is great, very tough, far from a racing kit but hobao is the best rtr brand imo, the stock .28 engine is great as well, i had one and it lasted almost 10 gallons
Super location🤘, great driving👍, good editing👌,..., AWESOME VID.! Nice mr B. That must have been a lot of fun 👊 Why 12%? 16% is allowed. It is actually 16% weight, witch comes down to 12%nitro, but inspectors and with races allow 16%nitro.
Thank you Kings, that particular fuel is the New 16% nitro in weight, 12% volume, dont know about the rules at the Race track. At my local shop, they dont sell anymore the old 16% (21% weight) nor 25% of course, this is the last available fuel they have. Not that i needed it, i wanted to test.
@@TastyBRC Ow... My local shop still sells 16% nitro. They have had several checks and the inspector has found everything to be fine. So hopefully it stays that way. And with the races too. With the 16% that I use is nothing wrong. So hopefully you can get it there too.
@@kings-racing The shop in Belgium still sells Burning 25%. I was also satisfied with 16% performances, the real 16%.. just remove 1 head shim and your engine runs great, but this one really sucks.. bottom end, top end, there is a very noticable power loss in the whole power band, i even came to check my engine's pinch!!! but fortunately this p5 still has great pinch after at least 8 gallons. It was 100% this urine like fuel's fault. Plus the carb tuning is more difficult, specially with a rtr engine, in the next video ill be running the lrp28 with a good picco carb and i noticed that the tuning window is much narrower, 5min on the LSN and your engine is way too lean or wont hold the idle.
@@TastyBRC i ran the ultimate and the fx engine on 16% without removing a headshim, that was fine. Never ran 12% but, smaller tuning window 🤔... Don't know if you are running a venturi, otherwise maybe remove it. That will make the tuning window bigger. It is cold, but now your engine was 117C. If it's around 100/110 it's fine too. And maybe try with the original piston head clearence. The hyper mach. 28 doesn't react very well either when i reduce the piston head clearence.
@@kings-racing I feel like 16% (volume) is the limite to wich an engine will work prefectly, everything under makes your engine weak and finicky. But i must admit that my engines are far from OS or FX, iwould really like you to test this fuel with a good engine. I will try with the stock head shims and removing the venturi (8mm).
