The RX 7700 XT will be a lot more relevant when it inevitably drops in price to around 400$. Won't be surprised to even see it for less.

Problem with CPU usage for 4060 ti in last off us. Température strange too.
Interesting to see that in some games the CPU power consumption when using both AMD cards is more than the 4060 Ti, & this is also with lower CPU usage.
What's really wierd is that we see lower CPU power draw with higher CPU usage with the 4060Ti, something must be missreporting.
amd has less driver overhead
Intel is known to have CPU efficacy and power consumption. And at this moment even even acknowledged by intel. Causing wide spread panic of 13 and 14gen users , upgrading their board bios to newest to minimize the damage done. As for difference right here, i wouldnt be surprised that it is something intentional by intel , some shitty micro code that they deliberately did in favor of nvidia. Not worth anything really.
Can you do Unreal Engine 5 games in these tests later? I want to know their performance since these games have lumen and nanite. Cheers
Amd are giving us really good fps/price ratio, but wattage usage is pretty high.
Nvidia are a bit more optimized in terms of performance/wattage consumption, but man they are way too overpriced.
The pc market is getting better, though it's still not very ideal. I hope it keeps getting better, we need more competition between the companies. I miss the days where we can get gpus under 300 usd that still gives a decent performance.
I also don't like the development of gpus leaning towards to watts eating monster gpus to increase performance. It'd be nice to have a well optimized gpu that uses low wattage, so cooler temperature, but gives good performance, with an affordable price tag.
You can always undervolt them a little bit if you want to save a good amount of power
4060 aka should be the 4050ti , is a marvel at efficiency 115w for that and it's also the strongest low profile type gpu. If they price it only a little bit cheaper...
So if you game at 8 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year .... in TWO YEARS you will have made up the difference in price between a 4060Ti and a 7700XT! :D

The 6700XT can be tuned to near same performance as the 6750XT, its the same exact core with a factory OC and slightly faster memory ICs. At this speed the 6700XT is about 7-10 fps faster on average putting it slightly ahead of the 4060 ti and not so far behind the 7700XT. Great vid.
Happy with my recent buy, a 6700XT. Extra RAM does matter in recent years and this card does the job.. Poor RT performance is not an issue for me since I rarely turn RT option On during gaming session.

In description says about 13600k, but in game monitoring printed 13900k. What CPU is used?
13900K since it is clocked at 5,500 MHz (4300 for E Cores). The utilisation is also lower since it has more cores.

@angurishudesu I would make sure it works and stress test it in a game before you buy, if possible. If not, see if there is a return policy. If none of these apply, its a gamble. What's your budget?

It doesn’t matter to me how many FPS the video cards will give, they still don’t make normal games for such demanding video cards, and Bvldur Gates 3 will run on my 6600. I’ll wait for new technologies and the “evolution of video cards,” then I’ll think about buying them. And good old games too there are plenty that have not yet been completed =-)

How much will be the difference when it comes to monthly electricity cost?
Depends. I worked it out at 18.2p/kwh (in UK we pay a LOT), and if you game for 6 hours a day, 365 days a year at FULL GPU usage, it will take 1.5 years to make up the difference in cost between the 4060Ti and 7700XT.
Of course, for those 1.5 years, you'll have to experience absolutely dogshit performance with the 4060Ti.

Not sure if anybody else noticed it but apparently both 7700xt and 7800xt appear to use more vram and ram for whatever reason.

Nvidia Cards with lower Ram capacity reduces visual Quality of the game to cover up the bad performance resulting in Stuttering/ low fps when V-Ram is not enough. Some Fanboys call this "Better Optimisation"

Thanks for this. I ordered today new pc components. Dropped AMD 7800x3D in favor of 7700x and for price difference took RX 7700xt gpu instead of RX6700xt. Those 20+ fps are just massive. Reasoning to me is simple. Even tho 7800x3d can offer substantial performance over 7700x in games that can utilize vcache , those games already run over 150fps and 200fps with x3d. I dont freaking need 150fps. I need 60fps. Thats all i care about and absolute max quality picture from graphic card as i can push it.

RT is off. Also, DLSS makes a big difference too. Not seeing the whole picture in these comparisons. Yeah, if this was 2010 and there was no RT and no AI technology for games. This would suck. But, that isn't the world today.

I can see that people nowadays care more about FPS they like DLSS but for me i want to experience the game with native resolution. I dont understand why using a rtx 3090 have to care about DLSS. I do support new features but this is not what we should care only about a graphics card, this only shows that Nvidia too bad at inventing new product can handle RT instead they focus on features AI downgrade graphics to gain more FPS 😅

From what I know so far both versions of the 4060 ti are the same
There are some benchmarks of the 8 vs 16GB versions, they show practically no difference in performance. Extra unused ram us just waste in this context. I guess only a few games actually utilize more than 8, or they use lower resolution textures to fit available vram.

Without FSR in pure raster 1080p@144Hz, i always match the rtx3070ti aorus master performance (when it's not slowed down by the 8GB).
I can safely wait until my next upgrade (rx9800 / rtx6080 / or high end IntelARC 3rd gen) and jump directly to 4k@144Hz.
